- Lois Lane has posed:
It took a little it convincing, but Lois was finally talked into taking a short stay-cation so that she didn't wind up losing her mind. Clark even left her to go do some errands and told her to stay put, and he's hidden her work laptop so she can't even sneakily do work while he's gone! So, she does what any Lois will do when home alone and left to fend for themselves. She's got a glass of wine, a good book and the television is likely playing some sort of quasi soap opera as background noise she's only half paying attention to.
- Superman has posed:
Clark comes back with the goodies. All sorts of pastries from another place. The man with the dull blue eyes opens the door and peeks in. "Are you staying home?" he asks her just not sure where she is. He just makes sure she hasn't found a way to do work on the phone.
He'll slip back into the place then shut door. His gaze goes back to her, "How are you holding up?" Clark can't tell if this is relaxing or horrible. Maybe a mixture of both?
- Lois Lane has posed:
"If I'm drunk by dinner, it'll have been a good day..." Lois quips, giving a grin and then shakes her head some. "I'm fine. I've got wine, a good book, and now great company..." This offered with a smile as she glances over to him, a single brow lifting. "So, what did you get up to while you were out? Anything juicy going on out in the wild world?"
- Superman has posed:
"Why?" Clark asks with some concern in his voice. Then he blushes about the company. "You're just saying that Miss Lane," and then he hands her the bag. "There's a bakery that gets rave reviews and I happened to be out there for a story," Clark says honestly and then he sits down. "I would tell you, but you might go searching for a story. So, it was relatively boring," he gives a grina nd just waits to see whatever expression Lois will give.
- Lois Lane has posed:
Lois Lane raises a brow at the concern in Clark's voice and shakes her head some. "I was kidding. I don't plan on getting drunk, but I do plan on at least one more glass of wine before dinner." She offers this to try and settle his worry. "Just saying that? You get hit on the head while you were out, Smallville? Where's the man I'm in love with who I can dote loving words on as I please?" Though she chuckles and takes the bag she's been handed. "Ooh.. I've heard about this place. Can never get around to going there myself. Word has it the owner's a bit of a looker too..." Reaching in then she pulls out one of the cupcakes and gives it a sniff. "Smells divine..."
- Superman has posed:
"Mmmmmhmmm," Clark teases a little bit." Handing her the bag, a smile is on his face. "You can dote on me, but I'm making sure you're okay. Making sure you're good. It's a two way street," he says softly and then goes to sit down. "Well, the owner is rather nice. She tends to like coffee and darker things. But I feel like she's creative enough to really do something magical in the kitchen," he says softly. Those dull blue eyes look at Lois as he's wondering how she'll take it.
- Lois Lane has posed:
"Well with a name like The Dark Side, I can only imagine." Lois comments and then smiles gently. "This one smells like...vanilla and...raspberry?" She stares at it for a moment before taking a bite - getting a little frosting on the tip of her nose. "Oh. This is..lovely. You should try it..." And she hands the cupcake towards Clark. "Is that your story then? Something about the little baker who could?"
- Superman has posed:
"I do like the vanilla and rapsberry. I had a little. I do like berries and cream," Clark grins and then he nods. "There is a little bit of a little baker that could. Not too much is known about her past, but she's a real American Dream kind of story. Just pouring her heart and soul into something that may not feel like work most days," he grins and takes one of those dark side cookies. "Tasty and inspiring. Really inspiring," he gives a soft.
