Jubilee has posed:
"MotherFUCKER!" The alleyway was dark, without a streetlight for blocks in any direction. "Tell the rest of your BUDDIES to clean up their SHIT, cause I'll straight up kill EVERY. LAST. ONE. OF YOU." Jubilation had stopped chasing the motherfucker in question. But she could still see him, even two blocks away, in the darkness. Running. It had been a week since she began to change. For days, she hadn't eaten at all. She thought she was sick. She wasn't sure what was wrong. Some had asked if there was a chance she was pregnant. But that would've had to be immaculate. Only date she'd been on before she fell ill was with a guy...a beautiful guy. With eyes that were just -mesmerizing-...and those eyes were the last thing she remembered about the date. But she didn't get lucky, of that much she was sure. Turns out....she got rather -unlucky-.

It was the night that Frank rolled over and woke her up, nearly knocking her off, that she knew what was wrong. Instinct seized her, and she nearly tried to tear his throat out before she was fully awake. And that's when she figured out she WAS hungry. Desperately hungry. Just not for anything in his refrigerator. So she'd gone hunting. One desperately pathethic gangbanger later, she was better. Thinking clearly. Stronger than she'd ever felt in her life. And all she could think was "Shit."

Tonight, the hunger wasn't so strong. But what does a girl do with an eternity that's only days old? Take a page out of Frank's book, maybe. Rid the world of filth, that wouldn't be missed. In anger, she turned and punched the corner of a derelict red brick building. The brick split and crumbled to the ground. Wide dark eyes turned the direction that the motherfucker had run. She'd prefer he didn't return, at all.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene hadn't heard about any of this until just last night. She HAD heard something had happened, but it had been a busy week... she'd only known that 'Vincent' had found a young girl and he'd preyed on her and turned her, without anyone's consent or approval...

Needless to say, Vincent had been punished once Selene found out.

And now, after the sun had set, she'd come out to find the girl. It wouldn't be too hard, Vincent's smell would be on her still. They were tied together quite closely for eternity now.

The curusing in the alley didn't go un noticed, from above Selene stood and watched. She could see the girl down below, and she had flashbacks to a different era long ago where she dealt with the same transition...

Stepping off of the building, the woman in black dropped down the completely distance until she landed in a rouch about twenty yards behind where Jubilation was now. She was dressed all in black, a tight bodysuit and guns strapped to her thighs.

"Jubilation!" Selene's husky voice called out. "I need a moment with you." She knew this would be the trickiest part. "If you please..."

Jubilee has posed:
The pale, petite Asian didn't even wait until the stranger touched the ground. The sound of wind rushing past the woman as she fell was enough. Whirling on one heel, Jubilation crouched as the woman hit the ground. "I don't feel like talkin'." Then, she tilted her head, and began to stand up. The woman was a walking arms depot. "Does EVERYBODY IN THIS STORY BUT ME HAVE GUNS? SERIOUSLY!" God damn it. All SHE had was a black tanktop and some black cargo pants. Completely unfair. "The hell do you want?"

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
"To help you." Selene responded after hearing the young woman's words.

Jubilee might also note that the woman's face was quite pale and her eyes... they were arguably even more striking thatn Vincent's own, easily just as memorable at the very least.

Selene's left hand dipped behind her back and a second later she pulled (carefully so as to not spook the girl) a black leather satchel and then let it unfurl itself. Lining the interior of the now-unfurled bag were a series of silver spikes each one capped with little lids.

"A weeks worth of... food." Selene then said. "And the ability to defend yourself from the enemies you have unknowingly taken on."

It was true, there were sects of Werewolves in the United States that were at war with all vampires, particularly those of the Corvinus heritage... which Jubilee was now associated with.

Selene placed the unrolled leather across either of her hands and she started to walk with a graceful glide toward Jubilation. "I bring this to you. As well as an offering of safe haven for where you can find solace and learn about your new place in this world... As I did before you."

Jubilee has posed:
The realization began to settle inside her like cold steel in her gut. "You're one of -them-..." Jubilation began backpedaling slowly. "One like HIM." A low growl rumbled in her throat. "I have enough enemies. Pretty much anyone who's ever met me. I don't need or want any more." Then she looked back down at the capped spikes. "Food. Is that really what you call it? Thanks, but I was damaged and ABANDONED by YOUR kind. I had to find my OWN 'food.' Figure out what the hell I WAS. ALONE. So you can just take that shit and be on your way."

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene took a step toward her after hearing this response.

"-I- am not your enemy." The elder vampire said to the newblood. "I'm here to help you."

She continued to hold the spike/blood vials up in offering hoping that their contents would appeal to the young woman enough to aide her in her cause of bringing Jubilation into the fold, so to speak.

"The man who did this to you? He is of my... group. He was not given authorization to do what he did to you and he's since been placed into confinement on my orders."

Selene watched the young woman in front of her, she shook her head gently from right to left. "I just want you to take these supplies, and the address to where you can find me. There you can learn about... all, of, this. And in time, you can decide the fate of the one who unjustly brought this down upon you. His fate can be in your hands. If you wish it."

Jubilee has posed:
"I don't want anything to DO with him, do whatever you want, what will it matter anyway?" She couldn't help noticing the woman was still holding the stuff out like an overzealous brush salesman. Woman. Ho-pire, whatever. "If I take that crap, you'll leave me alone?"

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene listened to this and her head shook side to side. "If you take these things, this one pack... a small survival pack..." She tilted it toward the girl and showed her that it included pockets behind the spikes. "Cards with valuable information on them, tips and advice... I've put it all together specifically for you."

Selene took another step, she was about eight feet away now. "If you take it, you will never see me again should you choose not too. Should you choose to find me, you will know how with this."

The ho-pire watched Jubilee intensely with her pale blue eyes, she was concerned for the girl and really had no reason TO be other than her own sense of compassion compelling her.

Jubilee has posed:
So many questions were circling in her mind, but Jubilation wasn't about to admit it to this woman. "Fine, I'll take it..." Maybe some of the answers were inside, on cards. Like...cue cards. Like it was all an act. Maybe it was. Maybe a dream. Any second she'd wake up. Well. Not that second.

Not that one, either.

Cautiously, Jubilation approached the woman. There was definitely "food" in the vials. No question...every muscle in her body tensed, and wanted to fight for every last drop of it. Luckily, she shouldn't have to. Because this one had guns. Wasn't that a little unfair? Vampires...with guns? Overkill much? Well, to be fair, she didn't need guns. She was already packin'..."

Vampire. She'd never even allowed herself to think the word, yet. It was like living in the Walking Dead, without the word "zombies." But that was a rabbit hole she didn't have time to go down. She took the supplies offered by the stranger, and looked up into her face, and her expression softened. And she began to weep.

<Seriously? No guns. AND I'm crying. Jesus H.>

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene allowed the girl to take the unrolled leather satchel and she watched her face as she saw her tear-up. Jubilee was several inches shorter than Selene, who's tall boots were lifting her up even higher than her natural height.

She lifted her right hand up and would reach out to place it upon the other's shoulder if not obstructed or denied, her hand was cold to the touch but soft as silk.

After a second of staring at Jubilation with an empathetic look upon her pale face, she'd shake her head side to side. "Fearing this change... is natural. And I won't stand here before you and tell you that any of it will be easy... But what I can tell you, child, is that what you have facing you now is a world with great potential. You have doors unlocked to you now that others can only dream of. Immortality being one of the most... alluring. But even it has its drawbacks."

Selene sighed softly then, she wasn't great at this stuff, she was trained to kill and was not as savvy with words as her own sire, Viktor.

"Your life isn't over here, Jubilation. In fact, its only just beginning... And you're not alone."

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilation shook her head, wiping her tears quickly and swallowing a sob. "N-no, it's not that. I just...remembered the McRib is back. And I'm...I'm...." The sobs began to wrack her like something heavily wracked.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene listened to this response and it made the corners of her pale lips turn up into a smile. She dropped her hand from the girl's shoulder and she slowly nodded her head. "I'll have to stop by there on my way home then." She responded to that. She might be a cold hearted killer, but she knew what a McRib was! "Americans and their awful foods." She said with a sly smirk.

A moment later and Selene started to turn toward the mouth of the alley. "Find me if you need help, Jubilation. If you need a place to stay and a place to learn." She'd start to leave then if not otherwise stopped, her heeled boots clicking softly on the alley's concrete floor.

Jubilee has posed:
"You Bitch! Don't even joke about that. If I find out you got the height, and the guns, and the BOOBS ...AND you can eat a McRib, I'm about to lose my shit," Jubilation retorted, sniffling and stifling a laugh.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene would simply glance back over her shoulder at the eccentric young woman and stared back at her a moment as she walked. The thought of this girl with all of the nutcases that inhabited her coven's home... it amused her, she could see her easily fitting right in within the hijinx that occur in the parlour and its endless ridiculous parties.

"I'll help you find it!" She said back to the girl, before disappearing out onto the main street to go and find her motorcycle (and likely turn a lot of heads along the way!).

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilation took a deep and steadying breath, and she watched the woman go. She rolled the leather carefully and closed it up, then took a few paces in the direction of Frank's safehouse. Unceremoniously, she dumped it into a garbage can on her way around the corner, and started the walk back home, and to bed.
