Cast of Characters: Sebastian Shaw, Black Rose

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Sitting in his nice confrotable chair on the far end of the room by itself with a few steps that lead up to it, and Shaw sits sipping on some tea. He has a few files infront of him of different mutants that are currently at the professors school quietly as he sipped the current person being one named Wednsday. He smiled to himself though thankfully with no telepaths around he kept it to litterly just him, as he closed the folder. The place was nice, the deocorations look old extremly old with a large stain-glass window behind his chair. There were little almost cupid looking statues around, as well as artifacts just sitting in their place around the room. Next to the entrance were two large statues of humans with bird heads looking down at those who enter.

Shaw had not been back here for a while not, but he enjoyed the decour as it reminded him of his time hundreds of years ago when he was young. He sits alone, no-one else in the room in his fancy suit that looks more expensive then what most people can make in a lifetime with the dark blue jacket, and relaxed looking red vest over the white shirt. He sighed in boredom for a bit as he was used to being out there, and had many groups to balance though it was time for him to be here so he had made time in his busy day to meet this pawn. It was a necessary evil for him as even he had to show his face once in a while, and to contact Emma he thought it best not to do it himself.

So he had sent out a coded message, one that a member would know in the paper where she would know where to find it.. A help wanted add from someone that lived in Yorktown Arkansaw.. The place wasn't important, but the add being there and the location was. YA matched Yana's initials, and that would let it know she was being summoned, and the price of the item showed her the location of the dead drop that would lead her here... Now. So he waited, and looked at his watch hopping she would not be late as he did not like to be kept waiting.

Black Rose has posed:
If Shaw were to see Yana on the streets, he might take a few long moments to recognize her. Gone is the blue hair, gone, the punk rock look. In it's place, the young girl wears her blonde hair tied back in elegant fashion. She is wearing a rather elegant corsetted dress, expensive, and handmade - ordered by her parents for her for just this occassion when it would arrive. The dress is new, but handcrafted by artisians who studied 18th Century clothing - slightly modernized, to blend in a little sensual appeal to the style.
The girl appears exactly on time, the coded message easy for someone of her particular intellect to figure out. And, as she's allowed passage into Shaw's personal chambers, she briefly curtsies to him in elegant fashion. "Mr. Shaw," she greets, her features impassive. She is not nervous, on the inside. She is smiling, on the inside. Excited for the opportunity. And prospect. But her features remain steadfastly impassive, and under control.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Shaw looks down at her from his elevated position as she says his name having him look up from his watch. He has a frown on his face, but stands quietly with a nod. "Miss Asarov I see you have got my message.. Good.." he walks down the stairs towards her he still needs to look down a bit at her almost being a foot taller though he seems to smile slightly now that she is here. "I am glad you know me that will make this a bit easier there is no need for introductions. I know your father, and about you.. You know about me.." he eyes her a bit for a moment then gives a small shrug. "Though last I heard you were a bit more.." he thinks of the word. "Wild.. I am glad to see you can clean up if the occastion calls for it."

He doesn't offer a handshake, or look like he is going to he just watches her when he talks, "Since you are here I am going to assume you joined the family buisness.. For if that isn't true you should walk out of this place now as quickly as your legs can take you" as he talks he moves to the side looking at a cabinet with some artifacts in as he continues.. "Though, if you are interested I might have something for you.. Not important as overthrowing civilizations or nothing.. I would not put that in a pawns hands." he shakes his head, and chuckles at the though. "No.. Something much smaller, but still important to me, and possibly the White Queen.. So at least you will keep good company." he turns and waves over to a table with an empty glass, and some light brown substance in a pitcher. "If your thirsty drink.." he smiles again, "Of course it is just tea... I would never corrupt a minor such as yourself." and gives a small nod.

Black Rose has posed:
"I have been taught many things, Mr. Shaw. Among them, the ability to be a social chameleon. Wild? Is merely one side of me." The young woman smiles, briefly, "This is another." She inclines her head, suggesting, "Thank you," to the offer of the drink and making no further comment if she drinks at home, or elsewhere. Instead, only continuing, "Of course I am joining the family business. I orchestrated the fall of the Evos in Mutant Town. Which my father has now taken over. And he will be seen as a - liberator, a hero, to most there."
She settles herself, primly, into the seat provided. Sips her tea, briefly and nods with approval to the flavor of the drink. "What is the task you wish to set me to?"

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Shaw listens to her, and nods sipping his tea. Of course there was more information in her file he didn't lead onto it was better to leave her guessing on what he knew, and didn't know as he was not here to impress her so it was better to play dumb a bit. He moves over to his chair as she explains the situation with her father, now he knows she is in, and picks up just a standard looking newspaper. "It is rather simple.." he offers carrying it back over towards her. "I just need you to deliver this to Emma Frost, and tell her the address is the key." he holds the paper out calmly with a small smile. "She will most likely read your mind seeing me here so will know the rest, but if not the answer is in there." he nods to the paper itself.

He turns and walks away a bit... "I need her help, but for now it is best we are not seen together.. You do this properly with no-one picking up your trail, and maybe it will lead to bigger things." he stops glancing back over at her. "I do not need to tell you we move quietly in the background. It is not our place to announce our presence, and to do so with this small task would be consider a failure." he frowns at her. "I do not accept failure.. Maybe the others might, but I am not the others I do not have the patience for people who can not get a job done even one such as this so I would take it very seriously."

He continues walking till he sits back in a relaxed state on his chair. "Questions?"

Black Rose has posed:
Yana listens, raptly, and she does not display any emotions of either being bored, or resentful of the way Shaw suggests she might fail as most teenagers might rebel, or have antagonistic thoughts towards elders who talked to them so. Instead, the young woman inclines her head, "It is simple enough. And, I have a reason to go see Miss Frost anyways. Or, go to her school. I want to meet Julian Keller. So, an easy affair." She smiles simply to Shaw, adding, with a measure of care, "It will be done as you say." The newspaper is taken, then, and set in her lap.
There is a pause, and she adds, "Respectfully, Mr. Shaw, while I may be a shark within my father's ocean, I understand I am but a pawn in yours, if that. Presently, it is not my place to ask questions. Perhaps in time, it shall be." She smiles, just barely, to show her good nature at the present circumstances. "It is a price we pay when moving into greater waters, I suppose."

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Shaw nods, and listens. "It is a simple delivery, but each move exposes us a little bit, and those who fail to realize those add up often get the spot-light in the end." he falls silent listening to her though he waves a hand to her. "Then if you have a reason, and a time then I do not need to give you either.. I can only say that there is an experation date on it, and it is coming soon so I would move on that information while it is still good." he takes a sip looking down at her. He falls to silence listening to her finish, and chuckles to himself.. "If you are successful then I hope you will eventually learn that a mission completed as planned is more important to me then platitudes about respect, and pawns. Results are what matter to me, if you get them in the right way then we will get along just fine."

He pauses for a moment thinking about if there is anything else.. "Oh... one last thing there is a fellow student of yours.." he pauses as if he has to remember her name. "A Wednesday Sparrow... Telepath, Billionare... I want you to watch her.. Become friends if you must, but be wary she has the ability to read surface thoughts so keep your numbers in the fore front as you were tought." he chuckles, "If she says anything that seems like it might be related to us I want you to let me know immeditly, but do not give her any hint of your association." he leans back putting his fingers together.. "Not yet at last.."

With a sigh he looks at his watch, "Now go.. you have much to do, and little time.. This is your test, though failure is not an option." he gives her a wave of a hand as he opens up the folders again. "Good day.."

Black Rose has posed:
Yana rises, smoothly, inclining her head, "Of course. I've already given her some dating advice. It won't be hard to invest myself as her friend. She will be fairly easy to guide, I suspect. But, as you say." Meaning, of course, she'll not play any hands, or extend anything towards her until Shaw asks it of her.
"Good day, Mr. Shaw." And with that, the girl moves to excuse herself. Her parents had warned her Shaw was not a man you chit-chat with.
