Cast of Characters: Rogue, Doctor Strange

Rogue has posed:
The hotel room door was tossed open and then slammed shut and Rogue stormed back into the fancy place that Strange had rented for her (them?) and then she stormed her way over to the sofa in the main seated area and threw herself down onto it in a fit of rage and anger... but she almost looked like a child the way she did it too.

With face burried in the corner of the sofa, the 18 year old girl just laid there in a heap. Rogue is wearing a wine colored tee shirt, some blue jeans and black leather shoes, her hands and arms have black gloves on up to her elbows, and she has a dark red scarf around her neck that is laying down her back toward her butt.

She's just... laying there now, clearly upset!

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Anna Marie?" Stephen asks softly from the other room as he steps in after hearing to door be handled so roughly.

The wizard steps into the living room and makes his way over towards Rogue with a gloved hand hovering over her back as he's not sure if she's appreaciate the touch or not, so he doesn't make contact.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue laid there face down on the sofa for another several seconds before she turned and looked over at his knees to see he was standing there beside her. "Someone attacked me." She said at him. "Someone who was trackin' the six armed bitch from the weddin'." She pulled some bloody playing cards out of her pocket and tossed them on the floor, a king and queen of hearts, the king had a hole through the center of it. "Some big asshole. He grabbed my throat..."

Rogue sat up then and she lifted her right hand up. "And now Ah got this!" She said and suddenly a set of bone claws launched out of her fist and through the holes in her glove that they already punched earlier. Rogue held the bone-clawed fist up on display for the doctor. "See? This is what I'm always havin' t'fuckin' deal with. Weird-ass shit pulled outta freaks bodies!"

Doctor Strange has posed:
"That... My goodness." Stephen's only response is, lowering himself down into a squat to look at Rogue and slowly he reaches out to take her hand and examine the bones extending from her hand. "Does it hurt Anna Marie?" The doctor inquires softly, his eyes moving from her hands to her eyes the concern in his eyes deep and true.

Rogue has posed:
"When they come out." Rogue replied. "Yes it does." She didn't have her power-nullifying bracelet on and she held it up to show him so he'd know. "Careful with me." She told him/warned him. "I don't get it neithe'ah... I'm supposed to be... like invulnerable, but these things come right out when I want them too... The guy... he grabbed me by the throat, I don't think he understood how my powers work, but he knew my name... He knew about Remy and said he could help me find the woman who did all'a this shit at the wedding."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I'm sure your friends are doing the exact same thing and they're not challenging you or threatening you..." Stephen says in a hushed whisper, his hand keeping hold of Rogue's more as comfort now than actually examining. "You have several friends Anna Marie. Including me, your doctor." He would wink teasingly to the woman at that point.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue smirked at him after hearing this. She admired the 'dad joke' style of Stephen's humor to some degree, but she had so much on her mind lately it was hard to react to it like she might otherwise normally do-so. "If I got so many friends, wehre the hell are they then?" She asked him, frowning and shaking her head. "Doesn't matte'ah. I just wanna... forget about all'a this. I wanna see Europe like Remy'n I planned on doin' afte'ah the weddin'. I wanna backpack around it 'nd stay in strange places with othe'ah random people. Share stories ove'ah campfires outside on trails'n... just... explore. Its been my dream for foreve'ah, 'nd I feel like I'm on the verge'a it, but unable to step ove'ah it cause'a this shit that happened."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Sometimes, Anna Marie, what we want and what we need to do are incredibly contradictory." Stephen says quietly with a sense of sympathy indicating that he has been in her very shoes and that it completely sucks but sometimes you have to be an adult.

"I will find a way to get you to backpack across Europe Anna Marie, even Asia if your heart desires..." Stephen says solemnly.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue just shook her head and dropped her hand back onto her lap, with the claws disappearing inside her hand again a second later! She just sighed. "No. I can't do any'a that. I gotta find the woman that killed Remy, 'nd I gotta snap her neck like a toothpick." She said it in a defeated sort of way because she wasn't ready to do that kind of stuff. Yes, she was angry about what happened, but she was still reeling from having her idealic future life suddenly ripped violently away from her, she hadn't yet come to terms with it... it'd been like a storybook 'ending' was within her fingertips and someone just smashed it in front of her eyes.

"Thats what this man wanted me t'do, help him find her. He called her 'Spiral'."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I've heard of her in the mystic community, but I haven't actually met her. She's quite dangerous Anna Marie if the rumors about her are true. You will need your friends to help you with her. As much as I'd like to, I can't. I do not and will never condone killing." Stephen says, completely serious but somehoe he lacks a judgemental tone in his face, eyes or voice.

"I will not argue that life has given you a poor hand Anna Marie, but you also need to look at the positives too, like our first night at the Tower. It's all about your perspective."

Rogue has posed:
"Marie." Rogue said about five seconds after his last words. Her head was down and she just uttered that one name.... But then she looked up at him and stared at him with her eyes looking desperately sad and... tired. "Just Marie. Anna was my fathe'ahs mom, Marie was my mothe'ahs." She looked back down at her hands in her lap, her thumb rubbing the back of the hand that the claws had come out of.

"Anna was a drunk, and a child beate'ah. Marie was an artist 'nd an actress." She softly bit down on her lower lip after sharing this bit of her family's lineage.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"But neither of them are you. Anna Marie." He seems to refuse to allow her to hide from herself. The duality of life is something that he not only sees, but seeks. "Only you are you. You aren't Anna, or Marie. You are Anna Marie."

"Now, I have a proposition for you..." Stephen says, standing up and with a single hand he aims it at the coffee table in the middle of the room and pushes it away with a simple spell. "Do you want a fresh start, do you want to be your own person again?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue watched the man stand up and then use his Jedi power tricks to move the table aside. She slowly looked up at him and heard his words and then narrowed her eyes at him. "This is gettin' borderline pornographic, Doctor." She said in a defeated and tired tone of voice. She was making a joke of course, though it was a joke that felt forced and just sort of reactionary... like her 'old self' trying to shine through all the recent depressing activities that have happened to her.

She then just shook her head and sighed. "What do you wanna do?" She asked him then.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"I want to remove all the alien psyches from your mind." Stephen says, even pushing the sofa Rogue was on with another motion of his hand, slowly moving her away from him with a sturdy purpose as he clears the center of the room. "I think clearing your head, really and giving you a chance to be just you will help." Stephen explains what his end goal is but not the method.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue tried thinking of some more awkward jokes to give him, but she just dismissed them all from her mind and rose up off of the sofa after he'd shoved it across the floor with his brain. She stood up and looked around, then reached up and pulled the scarf off of her neck and dropped it onto the sofa. She tossed her hair back over her shoulders and walked toward him.

"Can't argue with any'a that." She said. "Even the Professah neve'ah said he could do any'a that. He just said he could help me sort it all out inside'a my head. Like he wanted me t'just figure out how t'live with it." She huffed then. "Plungin' them outta my brain sounds a hell of'a a lot more appealin'."

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Go into the bathroom and grab the few candles from in there and we will get started." Stephen says, pulling a piece of red chalk out from behind the sash around his waist.

"We have a lot of work to do."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue huffed out a heavy sigh and she nodded her head before turning to the far end of the suite and moving away, taking the gloves off as she went and tossing them onto a table with a nice fresh bouquet of flowers that had been brought this morning by the hotel's services.

"This magic stuff confuses the hell outta me." She said as she walked away. "Just want ya t'know that, Doctor." She told him further before vanishing around the corner of the bedroom and toward the direction of the bathroom beyond.
