Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Radiance

Radiance has posed:
Hermione's mother has asked for pictures, and so pictures Hermione's mother gets. The Nebraska girl is walking around Centennial Park in Metropolis with her phone, taking selfies. As she looks at her phone, checking out the photos she just took, she realizes that there is a young man behind her that wasn't there in the picture taken mere seconds earlier. She chuckles softly and turns around, walking over his way. "Shouldn't you be New York, at your fancy school for the Gifted."

Radiance has posed:
Hermione thinks about it for a moment and then nods. "I guess working as a courier would be good for you. I mean, you can almost guarantee that you give same day service. How fast *can* you go, anyway?" She arches a brow at the mention of the ghost. "Really? So... were we talking to a dead person? That's a little... creepy." She looks down at her phone and smiles. "Yeah, pictures for my mom. She worries about me here all on my own. So I take pictures to let her see what I'm up to. It makes her feel better." She holds up the phone and leans in closer to Kaydin. "Say cheese!"

Radiance has posed:
Hermione's eyes go wide at the mention of the speed. "So, I guess that means you can walk on water? But ain't it hard to breath? I know when my boyfriend used to drive fast with the top down, it was hard to catch my breath. And that was only 90 miles an hour. At your speeds.... Hey! What about bugs in your teeth?"

Radiance has posed:
Hermione lets out a squeak as the young man puts an arm around her. She blushes softly, smiling and looking away. She then notices the world around her changing. She looks up, at the can, at the birds in the sky. "Wow. This is.... This is all the time for you?"

Radiance has posed:
Jean can't seem to make eye contact as Kaydin continues to hold her. "I can't figure out if that is a good thing or not. Means ya can take your time with just about everything." She blinks when Kaydin asks what she wants to do. "Oh... um... I don't know. I was just hanging out. Figured I might try and find a place to practice my flying. Is there anything you would like to do?"

Radiance has posed:
Hermione says, "See, the problem is, I can't seem to figure out why it only works sometimes. I mean, I can always sorta... float a little. But sometimes I can actually fly. And it's wonderful." She looks around the park. "Think we could find somewhere in this park that I'm not gonna freak someone out with flying? Hey, I just realized. You don't ever seem to worry about people seeing you do ... your thing. Aren't you worried about ... well, not everyone likes people that can do special things.""

Radiance has posed:
Hermione tilts her head to one side, arching a brow. She starts walking down one of the trails, looking for a place to practice. "My parents didn't want people knowin' about me. Mostly cause in a place like Valentine, well, different is not good." Her face turns thoughtful. "Is it hard? Seein' the world move all slow the way you do? I mean, I must talk like one of them slow mo pictures."

Radiance has posed:
Hermione says, "Well, that's good at least. Cause everyone talking like slow mo pictures would get a little annoying after awhile. At least, I think they would." She finds a side trail that leads off to a secluded area of the park. "Here we go. Now I won't freak anyone out." She looks at Kaydin with a nervous smile and starts to rise into the air. "Yeah, I know. A girl with my hips being able to fly. Make the jokes now."

Radiance has posed:
Hermione smiles and laughs at the mention of anorexic aliens. "I keep tryin' ta lose weight, but it never seems ta stay gone. And now that I can lift most stuff without tryin'... well, exercise is gonna be a hell of a lot harder." She hovers about a foot off the ground. "Normally this is it. One time though, back home? I flew. Really flew. Went over to the woods over at the back 9. Flew right over the tops of the trees."

Radiance has posed:
Setting herself down on the ground again, Hermione ponders, thinking back. "Well, it was summer time. Billy and I had gone swimming and he... " She looks away and blushes, grinning. "Anyway, after he walked me home, he kissed me. And then when he left I sorta just flew!"

Radiance has posed:
With a sigh, Hermione nods. "You know, this is the whole reason I moved here to New York. Figured I might meet more people like me, people who might be able to help me figure out how to make my powers work." She smiles warmly, looking up at the taller teen. "Thank you. It's really sweet of you to try an' help a girl out. Specially when you don't know me for Adam." She closes her eyes, thinking back to that day. Her blush grows hotter and she puts her hands to her cheeks to hide it, but doesn't rise off the ground any higher then the one foot.

Radiance has posed:
Hermione says, "Well, you can run. I can just float next ta ya like a balloon flying behind a kid at the fair." She grins at her own joke, shrugging her shoulders. "I'm a little old for school, mind.""
