Date of Scene: 14 December 2017
Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Thor, Lara Croft, Hawkeye (Barton)

Thor has posed:
Security is easily something that would interest the one track mind of Thor. Security is the place where they store weapons of all kinds that are always prepared to be used, and where the largest of men are armored and prepare for their days of patiently waiting for some threat to come knocking on their homes' doors. This is where Thor would find men worthy of his company and conversation.

"Hark!" Thor says as he enters the room, both hands going up, and held above and away from his head, but then he looks around, and lowers his arms. "This is not where the Security guards are..." He says to no one.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara had been tracking Thor through the Triskelion for the past fifteen minutes... she was about 10 steps behind him and every time she went to a new location there were people talking about Thor as though he were a celebrity just out of her reach. She was muttering about it in-fact as she was trying to take an alternate course to get her to the Security area since that is where he'd told others he was ultimately headed next.

Lara arrived via a hidden lift in the security's main office, she'd found it one evening when she'd noticed the secret buttons along a hallway... it'd taken her about five minutes to figure the puzzle out to get the lift to open, but she got it!

Lara emerged from a sliding door along the wall about fifteen feet in front of where Thor was, she looked to the left and then to the right to see him and she exhaled.

"Sir... Thor?" The British brunette called out to him, walking toward him now in her dark navy blue SHIELD jacket--unzipped--with a grey tanktop on beneath and black cargo pants and matching leather boots.

"May I have a moment?"

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint is doing some of that security work today and as it just so happens is in the Securty Wing, watching Top Men, lock down some of the junk confiscated from Hydra. Hearing that familiar 'Hark', Clint turns his head and smiles. "Thor?" he says and nodding to the Top Men, he heads over to head off his buddy. "What's up man?" he asks before he nods to Lara. "Hey Croft."

Thor has posed:
"Good marrow maiden." Thor says with a slight bow of his waist in Lara's direction and he is beginning to nod his response to her question when "Clint, sir Ton of Bars! The weakest avenger. How goes the hunt for a new bow or have thou recovered a replacement weapon from the stockpiles?" Seems word gets around about the trip to Venezuela.

Thor lowers his chin, basically resting on his barrel chest in order to look down towards Lara and he smiles that big jolly grin. "What is it you need from me Maiden Croft?"

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara would look then over to Clint and she would offer him a warm and soft smile. "How are you?" She asked him. "You're not injured are you? That... experience was rather unique, I would say." She'd say to the fellow archery enthusiast.

She'd look back to Thor when he'd mightily boast about Clint being the 'weakest avenger' which made her slightly frown at the lack of kindness to say such a thing, but it wasn't her place to comment on it.

Lara glanced back to Clint, then back to Thor, she lifted up her left hand and showed a small black box.

"I found something, that I believe you might be interested in... at least in some part." She'd say to him then. "I believe that Hydra pulled it from a Niflheim temple, based on the research I've compiled since we recovered it..."

She'd take the lid off the box to expose the item to Thor's (and Clint's) vision. "Its enscribed with your name, Sir." She'd say to the Godly one.

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint snorts, "Weakest avenger my ass," he says, before shaking his head. "You heard about that?" he says, and then shakes his head. "Got my old bow for now, but Strange promised me a new one," he shrugs. "We'll see."

Clint nods to Lara. "More or less healed up, yeah. How about your shoes? Were they able to be saved?" he asks, before he's looking at the glove.

"So, what are we Asgard's lost and found department?" he asks with a smile, but hey, this was some actual Indiana Jones stuff.

Thor has posed:
"Of course the God of Thunder heard of his friend's weapon of choice being lost in Vuvuzela. How unfortunate." The god says with a shrug of his wide shoulders and has to grab the hem of his shirt to tug it back down to his pants. "I am still not a fan of this Midgardian garbs. They're so thin and offer no protection." He notes idly.

His attention is turned towards the black box Lara holds up and he gasps for a brief moment. "You found this where?" The god asks, reaching out towards it but his hand freezes and he pulls back. "I have not seen this since I last weilded Jarnbjorn into battle." Thor explains to the two, but then he looks at them and can easily tell that they don't know of his (not so) famed weapon.

"Jarnbjorn was the axe I weilt long before your ancestors walked this plane. I have longed for it's heft in my hand, but I have since carried a greater weight and weapon."

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara would grin softly at Clint's question and then look down at her feet, she was wearing what appeared to be brand new boots. She looked back up at him then, still grinning lightly. "I get them wholesale from a friend... I think I have a new pair every other week, or so it feels... I'm glad you're okay though." She'd smile for a second before looking back over and up to Thor as he adjusts his top.

Stay focused, Croft.

"Yes, I have heard of it." She said to him about his axe, because her ability to know weird and random facts is uncanny. "Here." she offered him the box with the folded-up gauntlet in it. "I'm afraid I don't know where its counterpart is... But this was recovered from the event in Vuvuzela, as a matter of fact."

Lara would exhale again, trying not to ramble. "I have been doing a lot of research, I re-read my Prose Edda last night in fact... just to brush up on the finer points of detail. But I believe I may know where to look for more elements of equipment that you may have been disconnected from. But to be honest with you, Sir?" She said to the Godly One. "I'm not sure these 'are yours'." Which might be a bit forboding. "Or rather, not this... version of you."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
"Ah, guess not," Clint says about Croft's shoes. "Sorry."

Though he's not sorry for long, smirking as he catches her checking out Thor's ab. He leans against one of the shelves, double checking it's secured.

The news about Thor having an axe was new, or in this case, really, really old. "So, wait, this is like another universe's Thor's glove?" Clint asks taking a second look at the thing. "Huh."

Thor has posed:
"No, Bow man. It is my glove, I have not always weilded Mjolnir, this was a piece of my armor before the written time of Midgard." Thor says, still hesitating at the glove Lara is offering. He recalls what a demon he was in those days long past and forgotten. He was a monster. Of rage, bloodlust, death, destruction, ruin, conquerer. He was beyond violent.

Thor reaches his hand out and closes the box, and then pushes it back towards the relatively tiny woman. "It is yours now. Or his if you wish to bequeath the man with some power, but it is no longer mine." The god responds with an unusual kindness and selfawareness unspoken. Then his eyes go back to Clint, "Wait, you are awaiting a new weapon from the Sorcerer? I recommend you avoid it, or at least get a formidible way to remove the curse of any ilk that might be on the weapon."

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara showed a slight frown to Clint. "Possibly." She said at him. "I'm not entirely sure yet. Its also possible that this could be... from a different point in time. But... I'm not very fond of going toward the time travel theories, the alternate reality theories are much more easily swallowed. Especially considering all the evidence we've had in our world of these sorts of things happening, even if there is evidence to support time---" Lara cut herself off.

Focus.

She sighed and looked back to Thor as he pushed the little box back toward her. "It belongs to SHIELD, technically." She corrected him. "But I've ultimately brought this to you because I think that there are more items belonging to you hidden in this world, here on Midgard."

Lara would then lower her hands back to her sides with the box/gauntlet held in her right hand's grasp.

"Most specifically, I believe that there is a version of your hammer, and your belt... Mjölnir and Megingjörð and that Hydra is attempting to acquire them."

She glanced back to Clint, then back to Thor. "And if they possess the other gauntlet, then they could wield your hammer."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
"Yeah? That common with magic weapons?" Clint asks Thor, the guy would know, wouldn't he?

Clint nods, to Croft. "Okay, so more likely other dimension than other time. Gotcha." He's silent for the rest, until the final part. "Wait? They could wield the hammer, like not just pick it up like an elevator, but actually wield the thing? Whole power of Thor deal too?"

Thor has posed:
"They will have no luck finding my hammer." Thor says with a rather stern look Lara as he lifts his hand and snaps all five fingers wide, something Clint has seen plenty of times. It's how he summons the hammer. Thor remains standing like this for several moments and then sighs and drops his hand. "My hammer. It is lost." The god retorts with a frown and a shake of his head. "I can assure you that is my, MY, gauntlet, as I lost it after a battle, I lost it whilest on the rainbow bridge on the way home. It must have fallen to Midgard and has been here since."

"I'm not sure, I just know that Strange character is ... odd." Thor says with a shrug and then cants his head. "I ... it would make sense if the gauntlets were made of uru as well--Well-- By Odin's beard!" Thor bellows and looks back to Lara, "I believe it is in everyone's best interest that we find my second gauntlet and try and intercept this imposter hammer with all due haste."

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara regarded Clint and she simply nodded her head two quick and small times. "The belt gives the wearer the strength... the gauntlets provide the power to call the lightning and wield the hammer as though they themselves..." She slid her eyes back over to him, Thor, when he spoke of them needed to intercept the imposter.

"Were the God of Thunder." She finished her thought and lifted the box of the one gauntlet up in front of her waist, holding it between both of her hands now.

"Anything that is lost, can be found, Sir." She told the living Norse Legend. "Anything--of power--found by the wrong people, can be used against us. And this could likely be one of the very worst things to fall into the wrong hands."

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint lets out a breath. "Okay, that's bad," he says about someone, especially Hydra wielding the hammer. His brows raise when Thor can't get his hammer to him. "Wait, it's /gone/?" he asks.

"Yeah, Strange is strange alright," he agrees before he looks to the two of them. "I'm with Thor we need to stop these guys, do we have any idea where you'll need to start looking for these things? Some magic maybe?"

Thor has posed:
"I dropped it while fighting one of the spider-folks foes. It was a good fight, but the Mjolnir was lost within the rubble, and since it refuses to return to my hand, it must not be in this realm any more." The god of thunder explains to Clint. Not the smartest man no, but when it comes to his stuff, he knows. That or someone else explained it to him a couple of times.

"Magic is not my strength, it is a woman's job." Sounding very 'neuclear family' ish, Thor looks to Lara again and places his hand on the gauntlet, removing it from the box and with his other hand grabbing her wrist and forcing the heavy metal armor onto her hand. "I will never wear this armor again Maiden Croft!" Thor is rather abrupt with the way he says it. He knows the havok he could wrought in this world with that blood lust and it's something he refuses to unleash.

"She in the wisest one here, the one who knows about the armor and what they can do. Mayhaps she knows where to find them, or at least how to." Thor states, shifting to put his fists on his waist and stand in that powerful, wide way he does that takes up half a hallway while looking moderately bored at the same time.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara would accept the gauntlet back and she'd release a light sigh... he didn't seem to understand that she didn't really want it either. It had an immense amount of power and if she wielded it without the belt, she could potentially rip herself in half if she weren't smart or on-point with it while wearing it.

"I believe that the belt is in Mexico." She told them both then. "I think that we interrupted Hydra's search prior to them recovering it, based on the intelligence I've had given to me from some of our agents there." Lara removed the gauntlet again and it folded back up and was placed back into the open box once more.

"If I can find it, I think I can find enough information wherever it is... that could lead me to this hammer. I am not sure that it would help us find 'your' hammer, Sir Thor... but this one might be... a decent stand-in for the time being?"

Hawkeye (Barton) has posed:
Clint nod, lip curling upwards at hearing of more of Thor's adventures. The guy attracted trouble like nobody else, well except maybe Clint himself. "Ah, well, probably good if it's not on Earth right now, not if Hydra gets the other glove."

He nods pushing off the shelves to let the other two hash out the rest.
