David Akenda (207) has posed:
With himself still not in an orintation class and recovering still. David Akenda has taken to meditating in the Rec room while he has some time. After a while he stands up and assumes a fighting stance. Drawing his blade he begins to move and slash through the air. Careful precices, performing his martial arts Katas. He's been trained from a young age and knows the importance of keeping the skills sharp.

The sword moves in his hands with deadly precition, Flashing through the air, striking, stabbing, and making almost no sound at all. those who had seen a martial arts performance, not one of the ninja movies, but real demonstrations. Will see very similar structure in movement.

Jonothon Starsmore (34) has posed:
There's someone else in the place who doesn't have a lot to do. Jonothon Starsmore, who's chosen to move around the place while most people are busy. He heads for the Rec Room himself, but pauses when he sees who's in there. Pause, blink. And he just watches David do whatever it is that he's doing.

So there, at the door, is a student dressed in black. A familiar student, perhaps; it's that boy with his face wrapped up. He's not doing anything in particular, just leaning against the door of the rec room, looking like he's trying to disappear.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
With no one in the room, he is more than able to enjoy the sun on him from the rec room's windows as he flips with a kick. He's movingly quickly now rapidly fighting enemies in his mind's eye attempting to center himself and keep himself from being distracted. He's away of Jono as he stands there and is glad that he doesn't get much closed but as the sound of other students come around and the talking he will stab forward and then stand at attention, not wanting someone to get hurt he will draw the back of the blade over his thimb as he holds himself in respect, and then slowly sheaths the blade back in the black cherry wood scabbard.

Jonothon Starsmore (34) has posed:
Jono seems to duck his head a little more. {{...Sorry. Didn' mean ter interrupt,}} he offers. He turns his head to avoid eye contact. Though on the bright side, he doesn't seem to be overly tense; avoiding eye contact is just something he does instinctually. So if there's any tension from the near-confrontation last night, Jono doesn't seem to have kept it.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
"No not at all. I wanted to thank you for last night. The assassins are genuine but I over reacted last night. For that I thank you." he says David is not pleased withhimself over that as he will keept the sword close. And finally as the students begin to head off for their own thing David just swallows hard. He still feels like an outsider here. And will for a while.

Jonothon Starsmore (34) has posed:
Jono kind of tilts his head a bit, with a bit of a shrug. It's a 'don't worry about it' gesture. {{S'fine,}} he answers. {{Still kinna jumpy meself. Figured yer been through somethin' pretty bad.}} Given the rumors he'd heard, anyway. But he didn't want David to know the students had been talking about him. That just leads to all KINDS of paranoia.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Hello, New kid alert. Of course other kids will be talking about David that is to be expected. More so as it is likely someone had found out from others he had been attacked, wounded when Scott brought him into the school. That isn't something that will stay secret. So yeah Rumors and abound as David just seems to take it in strides as of course someone does come up asking him if it's a real sword, not one of those flimsy display peices. To which david of course answers yes.

To Jono he says "Yes it's an understatement that I have been through some bad things."

Jonothon Starsmore (34) has posed:
{{Thought 's much,}} Jono agrees, with a nod. {{So bein' jumpy... that's natural.}} And the assassins, something else Jono doesn't want to bring up. Between how David got here and those assassins David mentioned, that's a surefire recipe for paranoia. Then again it's not paranoia if they really ARE out to get you.

Either way, Jono's being careful not to bring up subjects that might make David uncomfortable. Like assassins, or rumors, or the incident with Illyana. He's trying to be non-confrontational.

Polaris has posed:
Wandering into the rec room, Lorna is on her phone, a small smile on her lips as she goes. The teacher steps around a student with out looking up as she wanders to the counter and sodas. "Weapons are generally speaking not permitted on school grounds." She says aloud, still considering some text she's working on.

Magik has posed:
Speaking of Illyana... it's really not hard to notice her soon to be presence in the area. She's lumbering into the area as if she was trying to do this feat half asleep. She probably is, though the idle rubbing of the heel of her palm to her eye is marignally helping her wake up. So sue her, there was a lull and she took a nap. Beds? They're freaking awesome. Totally took /those/ things for granted. She really doesn't make any sign of noticing other students about until she's fully 'in the area'. And then, she gives a hearty yawn /just/ as she's lifting a hand and speaking a greating. "Good morning. JOno. David." She just glances at Polaris as if the look is enough for 'fill in the blank here'.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
As Polaris speaks of the weapons polocy. "The sword is an heirloom, it's been in my family for seven hundred years. If there is an issue with it once I am assigned a room. I'll leave it in there on a stand." he says. He says honestly. But he keeps his mouth shut out of respect on what he wants to add. No weapons? Most of the kids here would classify as living weapons and she is worried about a sword?

Still he approaches Magik and says "I offer my most humble apologies about the other day. I had no right to react as I did." he says with a respectful and formal Japanese bow. He's waiting for her to accept his apology before he rises as is respectful. He admits he was in the wrong, students shoudl try to solve their own issues before they need to involve staff.

Jonothon Starsmore (34) has posed:
Jono looks up as he hears Polaris's voice, then looks away again. He's still avoiding eye contact in general. He can tell from her tone that she's a teacher, but he hasn't actually met her yet. So he keeps his mouth shut about the policy. Illyana's appearance gets a nod, though. And he offers to both, {{Hullo.}} But he quiets when he notes David apologizing, not wanting to interfere.

Polaris has posed:
"Great talk." Lorna murmurs and slips her phone into her pocket before getting a coke. The can opens and she looks at the students as she grabs a seat idly. She doesn't press the youngsters for conversation, wiggling her fingers hello to Jono and Illyana. David's bowing, so likely the little wave goes unnoticed.

Magik has posed:
It's a good thing David's bowing because that means he misses the confused and maybe slightly disturbed look of 'Don't do that'. Then the sword gets a look, as if she's making sure it's not going to glow in sheath. Her mouth's even opened for a knee jerk comment, but the brain engages first. Okay, she can do this. "Um...It's.. okay." She lifts a hand and kind of makes a 'pat pat' motion above David's head. "I guess I'm sorry, too." Did that sound genuine? She hopes it sounded genuine. She /intends/ it to be genuine. Sort of. A bit. At least ten percent. She makes a face, thinking she ought to say something more before she shrugs and claims possession of the nearest seat. "So...what sort of excitement is happening?"

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Lifting up as he doesn't see that Perterbed about the patting. some of the students here have given him the odd look. Considering that he is from a highly structured and ritual based Socioty it is one thing as well. Moving through the room he does say to Jono "If you will excuse me?" and Assuming Jono doesn't mind he will approach Polaris as he says, "I was wondering about Orintation, and class scheduling. So far no one has spoken to me about them. If you have any information about when I will get those Sensai."

Jonothon Starsmore (34) has posed:
{{Not much 'ere,}} Jono replies to Illyana's question. After the apology, and David apparently needs to move past him? Jono nods and steps to the side easily. {{Sorry,}} he offers easily, meaning being in David's way.

Polaris has posed:
"Well, I guess I ought to confer with Mr. Summers or Miss Grey on that. You should be given a room with another one of the students. As far as classes, probably need to do some aptitude tests, see where you're at." She answers, sipping her soda as she studies David. "Here we use the term Professor, or you may just call me Miss Dane." She tells him with a glance to the other students.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
Listening to the terms and he nods. "I will endevor to remember that. And I look forward to the test. It's been a long time since I had the pleasure of actually schooling. Even if most of what I was taut was private tutoring. It will be a new experiance for me." he says swallowing hard he heads over to one of the counters where he can pick up his bottle of icewater and drink it. He's enjoying actually having clean drinking water, healthy food. As he relaxes, "So other than the rec room anything else to do in the mansion?" David's still fairly nervious about being outside and in the open.

Jonothon Starsmore (34) has posed:
Jono listens to the conversation, though nods to show that he heard when Polaris talks about using 'professor' as a term of address. He doesn't interrupt, and he doesn't know the answer to David's question. He usually just plays his guitar in his room.

Polaris has posed:
"Take it a day at the time. There's the classrooms, dinning hall, gym, plenty of space for you kids." Lorna advises and rises to her feet. "Just keep the blade sheathed until you have a safe place for it-this is a school, however unusual it might be." The teacher rises and offers a wink as she grabs her cola.

David Akenda (207) has posed:
With a nod he says, "Of course. Also I was wondering how hard it would be to get the ingrediants for Japanese dishes and meals. It has been a while since I have tasted the flavors of home.
