Cast of Characters: Tygra, 277

Tygra has posed:
It has been two days now since Cheetara and Tygra have reunited. Through what remains of his escape/stasis pod he was able to remateralize her outfit. The pod itself is being put to as much use as possible as is his knowledge of Thunderian technology. What he wouldn't give to find one of their Berbil companions to assist him.

Plucking a stray patch of vine growth away from their path he studies the overgrown small town of Huntsville, deep at the heart of the preserve. The location of his pod and campsite are perfect for them, not far off from here and suitable to keep them hidden but exploration is key.

"They're a lot like the Warrior Maidens on New Thundera. Perhaps related." No perhaps about it. The similarities between humans and the rare and limited species of 'human-like' aliens on New Thundera were uncanny.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
Having her uniform back helped Cheetara. So did the wounds on her ankles being mostly healed. She wasn't as well versed in technology as Panthro or Tygra but Cheetara did what she could to help him when she could.

Their campsite would be a good place for them to consider something more permanent and stable for when they found the others. Something they'd need to consider sooner rather than later.

Pausing at Tygra's side, Cheetara looks over the little town. "Perhaps. Not all of them, however. Least of all in their sense of honor. It will take time to tell for sure. I suggest caution, Tygra. This world and it's people are strange to us. We need to find the others. Create a stable base."

Tygra has posed:
"One of our failings is expecting a Thundercats honor exists in others. Fighting the forces of Evil on New Thundera should have taught us otherwise." Tygra still has not pushed to learn what Cheetara went through, "Their technology is confusing to me. Much of it is primitive and some advanced I think the advanced is hoarded by groups or individuals. Create a base?" A thoughtful noise escapes the Tiger before he leaps and lands on one of the old Shaker abandoned homes rooftops. "This entire area has been reclaimed by nature. I see grafitti however which means it does have infrequent visitors. Create a base though, that would say you have considered we are stuck or staying." A frown, Tygra's brows knit. They are very likely stuck. "Your pod, we should try to find it and see if it is salvagable."

Cheetara (277) has posed:
Easily moving with him, Cheetara lands next to him. "We need to create a base Tygra..." Something she can 'sense', perhaps. "I'm not sure my pod is recoverable. I was already caught when I woke fully. I didn't see it when I escapeed." Chances are, she wasn't looking very hard though, either, all things considered.

"If anyone can figure out their technology, it's you. It will go quicker once we find the others. How much have you been abke to learn about the area?"

Tygra has posed:
"A base will put us in one spot and make us an easier target." Tygra replies, "We need a temporary shelter is all, we need to find Lion-O and let him give us direction. If he wants a base... " A shrug from the large orange and black striped man. "We'll do as our King demands. I rigged together a translator that broke, I used parts for that and pieces from my pod. I may be able to find a signal for your pod, if it is still active." It had to be to keep her alive this far out through planetfall and all. "I would prefer Panthro or even Ro-Bear-Bill's expertise in these matters." He pauses, "Not that I am saying your aid is not appreciated." He reaches over and gives her forearm a squeeze, "Or presence. I just feel like I don't know where to begin with figuring their technology out, it is different. Similar but different enough I could use the extra input from one of our own." Or one of theirs who is familiar.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
Getting Cheetara to trust humans might be difficult right now.

"We're stronger when we're together, Tygra. As we have always been." She pauses, eyea falling on him. "I have sensed no danger to them, if that helps."

The squeeze to her arm earns a pat of his hand and a chuckle. "Technology is not my forte. I can admit my shortcoming in that. We will find the others. I'm certain of it." She crouches, preparing to jump to the next rooftop. "In the mean time, we must learn what we can of this new area. When we find Lion-O, it will be important to give him as much information as we can."

Tygra has posed:
"Lion-O has not given the call yet and you're sure he is okay?" The ability to sense that far out he can only wonder but Cheetara's gifts are her own and she knows them best. "Hopefully we find them sooner than later." That is assuming Lion-O hasn't gotten more info than them already but that would mean he might possibly separated from the Sword of Omens. That would be dire indeed.

Leaping after Cheetara Tygra proceeds to explore this abandoned down.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"There could be any number of reason why he has not Called on us, Tygra. Some worse than others. Don't let the fears your mind can conjure overwhelm you. My gifts are not perfect but we taught Lion-O the importance of caution and discretion." She smirks as she moves frim building to building. "Perhaps some of it sunk in more than he let on. In the mean time, let us see if there's anything in thia town that can help you."

Tygra has posed:
"I am aware of this." Tygra grins at her. "And my fears are very much kept in check. By Jaga if Lion-O is unable to make use of the Sword of Omens then we will find it and do so for him. It at least for certain survived the landing no matter what."

While speaking and fowllowing her his heavy weight touches down just enough on oneof the old rooftops to have it crumble underneath him, collapse inwards and drop him in to a fogbank of a debriscloud.
"ARH!" He exclaims before the crash sound below is audible.

Cheetara (277) has posed:
"Tygra!"

In an instant, she's hoping down into the hole made, staff being pulled free and extended. "Cover your eyes."

The staff is twirled quickly to blow dirt and dust away from them. "Are you alright?"

Tygra has posed:
"I'm okay." Tygra calls out, the dust clearing to reveal an old room. A classroom from the looks of it, desks everywhere, a single book. Coughing he waves his hand before him and walks around in it, lifting and moving things around, "Nothing of interest. This place is old, so old they probably have outdated technology. Even this book is so old the pages will crumble if I bring them out of this room... " Moving over to the wall he feels along it before putthing his fist through and then shoulder, creating an exit to an open room, one that is overgrown with foliage and has been reclaimed, air available here though. "Much better. I don't think we'll find any salvage here. This place is a ghost like it's people."

Cheetara (277) has posed:
There's a frown from Cheetara as she collapses her staff and follows him through the hole he made. "That seems to be the case in most of this place so far." Which doesn't bode well for them. Especially in the long run. "We may have to venture a little further out." The idea doesn't settle well with her, clearly. "I will go for a run this evening..."

Tygra has posed:
"If you're up to it, it is a good idea at this point. You can move much faster than me and we need to know how far out this preserve goes before it is in human territories. What range can we act safely and what there is to expect. Let us just return to the camp for now." Tygra says and takes the lead, "There are other aliens on this planet as well. And mutants. Not like our mutants they are more giftedhumans with powers, like us." Tygra says, "I met one called Phoenix the other day and the one who helped us with our food and clothing stock, that is a man called John. Worry not though, they do not know where I have been camping. We have a drop point where I meet them."
