Synopsis: Yin meets a dark vigilante up to angry good.
Cast of Characters: Yin, Red Hood

Yin has posed:
Chinatown. There has been a bit more Hand activity than usual, on account of a shakeup in the ranks, and that has effects that spill out over the city. The other day, the Bat encountered a girl stubbornly checking up on old Chinese masters. He gave her a burn phone, and talked to her. The probability that he promptly forgot to keep an eye on her doings is approximately zero.

Today her interest seems to be on an incense and herb shop in the sluggish parts of Chinatown where the tourists rarely go because it's just too REAL there, rather than 'authentic'. There is no ticky tacky colorful Chinese decor here, just specialty stores that don't really fit the tourist idea of 'China'.

The girl is in a dress and no mask right now. She doesn't look Chinese, but that's a plus here. She doesn't really look like a tourist either. She just looks like she is checking the place out. But she is casually standing in the spot you would stand to 'case' the place.

Red Hood has posed:
Jason Todd's being part of the Batfamily is 'very loosely affiliated'. As such, he's not here to spy on the young woman that stands out like a tourist in the middle of Chinatown, but instead, Red Hood is here for a different reason. The vigilante is settled on a rooftop, looking down between all of the colorful clotheslines.

His attention is on an alley near where Yin is standing. A few days ago, he and Starr intercepted a shipment that was heading to this destination. But after the fiasco on the docks, the vigilante decided to carry on alone. And now he watches the 'Fish Market' truck as it turns down to the alleyway between the building that Yin is standing out of and the Grocery next door.

As the truck pulls up next to the rear of the market, a pair of men dressed like butchers step out, but the firepower they're packing does not match at all with the bloodsplattered aprons.

Yin has posed:
Yin frowns a bit. That doesn't look like it belongs at ALL. The butcher truck wasn't where she was casing, but heavily armed people is never a good sign.

She pushes off of the wall and wanders into a different alley to get out of sight, where she can ascend the building. Parkour and acrobatics, not an ounce of wasted effort, and silky-silent. Somewhere along the way, she slips on a half mask. The dress is easy enough to shrug off. She looks like she was expecting to need to do this anyways.

And so it comes to pass that the dark skinned young woman sets foot on the very rooftop on which you are standing, glancing around for danger. The Bat is well known far and wide. You maybe slightly less widely. This isn't her usual turf. So she is clearly on her guard. She frowns slightly, noticing your presence and nodding slightly.

Red Hood has posed:
And coming up the side of the walls is a shapely young woman. A brow rises beneath Hood's helmet. He has his own reputation in Gotham - he's the one that's willing to kill. He's crossed Batman's infamous 'thou shalt not kill' line. Of course part of that was him being dead himself. As she shrugs out of the dress, there's a snort. "Swear there's more costumes than Halloween around here sometimes." he rumbles.

And yes there are guns. He has a lot of them. In fact, he's already pulling out a pair of pistols as he considers the truck below. "You hear to guard this?" he asks, his voice slightly distorted by the helmet.

Down in the alley, the back of the truck is opened, and the cargo is starting to be off-loaded. Young women, apparently dressed in common clothing for mainland China. They're being ushered quickly into the back of the grocery as he draws in a breath. "So, you here to help, or try to stop me?"

Yin has posed:
Yin mms. "I don't know what 'this' is yet. Didn't look like anything I want to let happen, though." She drifts silently toward the wall where she can see what's going on. No wasted effort. Chinese martial arts flavor to her movement. Very, very relaxed.

She frowns at the sight of the 'cargo'. "You're here to stop this? Then I'm here to help you. I'm Yin. You have a plan?" Given the situation, the talking is clipped and abbreviated a bit. She takes a deep breath and centers herself, keeping her situational awareness up.
