Cast of Characters: Doctor Strange, Wonder Woman

Doctor Strange has posed:
A sandy beach in Florida, the sun is high and the breeze is warm. The screams are also loud as perspective pans in from above, winds down to reveal a coastline, people rush away in terror as a massive creature stomps free of the foamy water, its chest is thumped by knotted fists and it lets out a blood curdling war cry. The yells of those around it reach a crescendo....

"Shut it off Wong. When did you become such a fan of campy horror movies? Or honestly television at all." Doctor Strange remarks striding through the study, "Also why again is there a TV in here?"
"When this haunted one was delivered and you told me it was beneath your time."
"Oh. Right. Well, it is. A haunted television... thats so very retro 70s. I thought this was, my god, what year is it?"

Wong shrugs, "You ask me to pay attention to some things then others you chide me for. You well know you have calendar on your wall, desk and phone. Figure it out."
"Ouch. That stung." Stephen hustles to the east and opens the top drawer, thumbing through something as the television starts to roar in the background again. "Turn it down."
"It does not go down. It is haunted. Possessed of an evil."
"I know what haunted means. I also imagine it's just broken and you should twist the knob. The olds had those."

Strange picks up his phone and begins to dial, thumb swiping through contacts to find 'Diana Prince' he smiles fondly at ther contact image before dialing.
"Hello? Diana, I was asking if you would come over again. I'm actually here this time... in the flesh. Wong told me last time I was on the side of rude for leaving a hom---" A loud scream is heard, a roar in the background like rising and crashing waves, the cursing of Doctor Strange in the background and Wong's own loud trill of surprise. Then silence. The line drops...

Wonder Woman has posed:
Since it was late evening, Diana had already been out today and tending to her duties as an Ambassador to her people and a icon to others... it was a hard life!

Right nos, when her phone rings, Diana is stepping out of the restroom having just gotten out of the shower, she's wearing a dark silken bathrobe and is running a brush through her hair as she pads quietly across her bedroom carpet toward her desk.

The phone is gathered up. The princess seats herself down in the chair and a calm and collected. "Hello?" Is given to the man on the other end. She smiles at his words as well... at least up until the scream and the signal drops.

"Stephen?" Diana says. She goes on to say it another pair of times before she pulls the phone away from her face and looks at its screen.

Now a conflicted look appears on the Themysciran's sculpted face. The last time she went to the Sanctum he melted when they tried to share a quiet moment together, what was -this- now?

Curses. If she didn't find it all so intriguing she'd leave it be... But perhaps he needed help? So, Diana is up from her chair and moving toward her cabinet doors where she pulls them apart to reveal her armor and gear upon a wooden manneuqin bust and beneath a pair of small lights shining down upon it.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Upon arriving at the Sanctum Sanctorum Diana will find herself staring at a door, one that won't be greeted by the usual rounded jovial face of Wong. The door sealed yet coming from underneath it is... sand. It's pooled in a mess upon the front steps.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana showed up a handful of minutes later with her armor on and hear gear over her shoulders as well... but a dark navy blue body wrap hangs over her shoulders and down her front and back to give her some concealment until she finds out whats going on here!

Her armored feet carry her up the steps in front of the doors until she realizes sand is passing out beneath the the cracks... This of course makes the Amazon's dark brows lower over her eyes as she stares on confusion. Said eyes then look up to the doors, then over to the windows... but the Sanctum was always nearly impossible to see inside of from the outside.

With a light sigh, Diana looks straight up and then shoots up into the sky!

she touches down ontop of the building and starts to march toward the roof access doorway, with every intention of throwing it open and hopefully finding the above-route easier to gain access to the building!

Doctor Strange has posed:
The three story townhouse's roof access is a window hatchway, at least thats the easiest on Diana will spy. Upon getting it open which is allowed having already been declared safe by the Sanctum's owner the current Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange.
She'll see it now, sand, the entire place is covered in it and more is filling the inside of the Bleecker Street home, it's source the third floor where loud sea sounds can already be heard, audible as the noises outside. Seagulls, a ships horn, crashing waves... all sourced to a particular very loud television.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana slips inside the building and reaches out to place a hand on the wall while her boots go down to the sandy floors. "What in the name of Zeus..." She mutters barely audible with her red lips brushing softly against one another while her eyes scan around for the source of the noises. "How do these two manage to even survive at all...?" She asks nobody, which is fairly common for an 'only child' to talk to themselves. Diana grew up the only kid on a island paradise. She was her own BFF for a very long time.

Quickly though, once she starts to get her bearings, she moves faster and with more confidence to find the source. "Stephen!" She calls out. "Wong!?" She then asks, hoping to hear from EITHER of the home's caretakers.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"Miss DIANA!" A voice yells, fists bang. The sound is like heavy glass being beaten. The source? That television, inside of it is a tiny little Wong. Running around behind him back and forth on a beach is Doctor Strange being chased by some strange claymation looking monstrosity with a club and one eyeball with sharp teeth. The tele-color brightness of it saying this particular show was originally Black and White, color back then wasn't so much a function but it has been remastered. The TV set itself? A huge old box like cube. No floating panel, three d projection or an old flatscreen. A big clunky box with dials and wires off of it.

"Miss Diana!" Garble static and distortion. That monster splashes around looking left and right as Strange replaces Wong who has jumped down and hoisted a kayak above his head, slow walking past the big monster.

"Hello dear." Strange huffs, trying to catch his breath. "Would you mind changing the channel to something less violent?" He points left then right. "Somewhere there should be a knob... " A roar and that giant creature gives up on finding the kayak camoflaged Wong racing towards Strange who picks up his cloak over one arm and takes off running again. Back and forth on the tiny beach, on the tiny tv screen.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Once Diana finds the source of it all she stands there about ten feet in front of it and just stares at the 'tube' with a look of disbelief on her face. She watches the display of whats going on and at first, at least for a moment, she didn't believe it was real... but once the interactivity of it proved otherwise Diana just gave a slight shake of her head and then trudged forward through the sand, easily parting it with her super strength enhanced armored lower legs.

"How do you two manage to get yourselves into -situations like this-?!" Diana shouts back at them over the noise of it all while her hands start to search the knobs and dials as-do her eyes to figure out how to use the thing.

The first time Diana had ever seen a television had been in the early days of her leaving Themyscira's shores, after the end of World War I, there had been a tv on display at a science show... during her very first trip to America, here in Manhattan.

She finds the knob then for the channel changer and quickly just chooses 'right' and twists it in that direction. "How do we get you OUT of there?" She asks 'them' while they're under-siege from the sea creature!

Doctor Strange has posed:
"It is simple, he does not listen to me." Wong informs Diana, faced pressed to the television screen. While behind him Strange is picked up in the air and waved around by the monster, in the same fashion his own arms and legs are waving about.

Static Flashes Across Screen and it Blacks Out.

Singing and Music~
"Sometimes you wanna go! Sometimes you want to go...
Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same.
You wanna be where everybody knows your name!

~Queued audience laughter. A door opens and closes to a bar. "NORM!" A chorus of voices says loudly. It clatters shut. A heavyset man waves a hand around, "Yeah yeah, hey, everyone."

"WONG!" A second rain of greeting. A confused Asian man stops on the steps and looks around, pats himself down and looks towards Diana.

"Just sit down, Wong." Strange says from behind the bar where he is cleaning glasses. Because, thats what they do here.
"Yeah Wong. You old maniac." A postal worker near the bar guffs past a walrus moustache.

"This is at least more peaceful. Okay, Diana. I need you to look on the back of the television and see if there is uh a sticker with any serial numbers or the like... I know it sounds ridiculous just humor me."

"Who the hell is he talking to?" A crazy haired short woman asks loudly. Her voice sort of nasal and obnoxious. They all shrug while some look around, others just go back to drinking.

Wonder Woman has posed:
"It would seem so..." Diana quietly mutters in response to Wong, at least until the screen changes and she hears the intro song to a television program she has not seen in a very long time!

Diana pulls back and looks down at the screen, a smile spreads across her face even if she's trying to subdue it as best as she can. "Ooo." She says in a little moment of girlish release. "I like this show." She adds onto that then. "I used to watch this on plane trips, it was always played during the long flights across Europe. Woody is my favorite..." And the Amazon Princess's hands are now coming to lock wrist together in front of her lap, almost as though she was about to get content to just 'watch'.

And then Stephen has instructions for her and she startles a bit and moves to follow his word. "Oh, yes, yes of course." Diana moves then to go around the television, her hands touching its corners and edges as she lowers down behind it into a crouch.

"Uh..." Her voice calls out. "I found it! Its red and it has black lettering and it, huh. Who made this television set?" She then asks.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"A demon." Strange informs Diana.

"Watch your mouth!" The woman with the hair shouts. "Only I get to talk like that around here." She scurries over near Strange and playfully begins to elbow him, "Eh, eh? eh. Eh.."

"My god you're annoying." He exhales.

"Whoah!" Escapes not just one but several of those people at the bar.

The balding, taller man with a grey suit on lets out a noise and sits upright, "Stephen, apologize to Carla."

"You're absolutely right Doctor Crane, I am deeply sorry you're so annoying Carla and for those of us who had to endure years of you----"
"Diana! Are you touching the television!? Do not touch anything but the nobs, keep away form the antennae and read only... " The corners having been touched she sees a glow forming across her fingertips, fuzzy black-to-grey white like old television show hue after it had just been turned off. Then darkness.

Diana just pulled herself in to a new time, channel and a pocket dimension of television madness with Wong and Strange.
