Peggy Carter has posed:
Its late afternoon on Monday.

Agent Carter has been in meetings all day, helping associate new members to her team to their daily routines that they'll be undertaking. Its one of those first-meeting types for new agents to get to meet Agent Carter so its a big deal for them. Peggy's fairly used to it by now, but if you look at her you'd never known she'd feel any discomfort at all at the thought of the meetings. She's ironclad in appearance afterall.

As of right now the meetings are letting out and she's the last to leave the room, she's now heading through the foyer of the Triskelion with a briefcase at her side and her eyes down on her cell phone. She's only been IN this timeline for a year now, but she's grown more accustomed to the 'toys' of 2026... far different from the life she used to live.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America is glad Peggy is back. A lot ha changed in the last few months. The invasion. He is still who he has always been but it is so easy to become, well, for lack of a better word, unfocused. Still, the whole lingering question from New Years was...just that. It was a question. He had hoped it would go forward but they both had very demanding careers. It was one of the most complicated questions in his life and even now, he wasn't sure how he felt. He could run through fire or a demon hoard but this particular issue....made him cautious. As it was, he was simply glad to see her. In his civilian guise, he walked in and matched speed as she moved from room to room. It was also impressive and intimidating to remember how she had founded SHIELD. There was a lot more to her than he had known back in the war. "Hey Peggy, how are you?

Peggy Carter has posed:
Peggy doesn't stop walking when she hears his voice, but she does slow her pace some and seems less 'driven' in whatever course she was venturing on... which seemed to be across the foyer toward the elevators.

"Steve." Peggy says then, looking up to the man she shares the time displacement with. Her voice sounds almost surprised to see him. "I'm... I'm good!" She replies to him then. "How are you?" She asks.

Her eyes glance down to her phone and she deactivates it and slips it away into a pocket on her black blazer she's wearing, because phones are horrible little devices and people are far too rude with them in this modern day era. She affords the people she's speaking to with the full of her attention.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America grins. It's a charming grin, enhanced by syrum but All American in the man he was. He shrugs, "I've been busy. You know that there is no rest for the wicked and all that." He looks around, "Things seem really busy, busier than normal? Space Mold?" He says this in a tone that is serious but also unintentionally blase which could easily be Giant Lizards, Aliens, or Dark Metter. He smiles at her body language about the phone. He doesnt like them either.

Peggy Carter has posed:
"Space Mold." Peggy replies in short to the man's words beside her as she continues at a casual pace across the lobby. "We're in a stressful stage right now." She says in her thick British accent. "The world doesn't like what we do, by and large, until there's a space mold on their front lawns threatening to consume their everything." As she approaches the elevator she reaches out to push the up button and then looks toward Steve with her hands on the handle of her leather briefcase in front of her lap. "Then, suddenly SHIELD is much more in-demand and popular." She shows him a smirk, her bold red lipstick still commonplace for her fashion sense.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America says, "Yeah, I've investigated it and am frankly stumped. This is one of those times I wish I could think like either of the Starks or you. You can't punch this thing. Frankly if it wasn't for some things like that loon on the internet, we would be...stumped." He avoids making the joke about some people only having stumps thanks to the mold...because he is Captain America. He keeps moving with her and seems pensive. He is pensive about a lot of things. "SHIELD comes in and out of demand like too much fashion. It's a shame about how people forget things.""

Peggy Carter has posed:
Peggy doesn't shy away from eye contact with the man, she's known him long enough and was never intimidated by his transformation into what he is today... she'd seen it in him even prior to that. He'd surprised her from the start of their knowing one another. "Yes well. With the amount of sensory overload that people are subjugating themselves to in this day and age, its a wonder anyone is able to remember anything at all." She releases a very light sigh before she gently shakes those thoughts away. "We can't punch this to win, but we can hit it in other ways. And thats what our finest minds are working on, whether it be a Stark, or a Richards or someone else. We're going to figure it out... We have no other choice." And she smiles softly at him again.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America smiles back. There are so many shared memories...besides Bucky, there is no one he is closer to. Refugees awash in the raft of time. "It's going to be something stupid, you know that right? Like Ovaltine or Rubber or Valium. Mark my words." He shakes his head and chuckles, "We'll muddle through, we always have.

Peggy Carter has posed:
This gets a sudden and present laugh out of Peggy, its a short laugh, but its there anyway and its as rare as a flawless diamond from the woman. She glances away from him and softly shakes her head from side to side before she looks back at him smiling. "You might be quite right about that." She respond. A ding then announces that the elevator has arrived and its doors glide open silently. Peggy glances over to them and then back toward Steve. "Are you going up? Or are you on your way out?" She asks him then.

Captain America has posed:
Captain America remembers that smile and smiles wider because of it. He gently brushes her hair, "I am sure of it. We're going to figure something out. I have the evening off actually so seeing what you guys are up to might give me clues about the right people to ask. Just because I am not smart enough to figure it out doesnt mean I wont find us someone else if the regular brain trust can't."

Peggy Carter has posed:
Peggy nods her head once toward him after he does that to her hair. She then turns and steps into the elevator before reaching out to touch the panel that has the level she's headed toward. Administration. "Yes well... We live in a strange time now, Captain." She tells the man, glancing over to him as they're both aboard the lift now. "Its like Santa's Workshop on the night before Christmas. Little elves rushing around and flailing their arms wildly trying to prepare all the last minute gifts and get them ready to go. On now, the gifts are security and peace of mind... and Santa is a very loud man with an eye patch." She grins toward Steve, speaking of Director Fury of course.
