Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: 187, Gypsy Moth, Domino

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
The stage is set. In more ways then one! Ford has somehow managed to pull it off and get folks to "restart" the remake of his movie. If Ford's theory was correct (and let's be honest, when is Ford ever really wrong about something?), his clay-consisting copycat would be along to ruin things once more. But he'd stop it... he had to! He was not going to let this crazy basketcase ruin his name and image! So now, he waits and watches from the railings of a nearby set piece, carefully hidden behind a set of blaring lights, keeping folks from looking /right/ at him.

    Now... he lurked.

The set itself has been cleaned up quite well. Much of the equipment was left following the on-camera murder, so once things had been cleaned up, it was business as usual. Roland, Ford's producer and long-time friend, has agreed to pose as his director for this crazy stunt. Sitting in the director's seat, nervous brown eyes carefully glancing around at the other members of the "cast" filing about, doing their jobs as they had applied for. Roland pushed those poindexter glasses up on his nose as he finally spoke up. "Okay, people, places! Let's get this sorted out and get this movie rolling! Chop chop!"

Gypsy Moth has posed:
Sybil is waiting for her cue. She is dressed as a Gypsy Fortune Teller and has a fairly long part, for someone who has not been on camera before especially. She is aware that something else is going on, but is glad enough to try her hand as an actress. If she can make sure the production actually finishes, she might become famous...and even richer.

Domino has posed:
Domino is not here for the movie.

Domino is here for the money.

She's camped out on a building across the street from the set and the lights, rifle in hand, sights to her spotted eye. She's ready to pull the trigger at the first sight of the target.

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
Roland looks around nervously again before nodding to seemingly nobody... though in reality, he's giving Ford his signal. "Okay, everyone! We're picking up where the last scene left off! The death scene of the Madame Fortuna! Places everyone! ...and... action!" And for a bit, it seems like things might actually be progressing as per normal. Nothing is out of hand. Nothing is dangerous. No weapons (real ones, anyways) of any kind. Everything actually seems to be running smoothly!

And right as Sybil is about to deliver he last line of the movie, the lights on the set suddenly cut off.

There's a few shrieks of panic as folks try to figure out what in the blazes it going for a couple moments. But, assuming Domino has night vision on her scope, she catch sight of Ford! Creeping up being Sybil, fully costumed, knife in hand, raising it with the apparent intent of driving it right into Sybil's back and kill her!

Gypsy Moth has posed:
The moment the lights go out, Sybil emits a low power kinetic pulse...this acts much like radar, showing Sybil where everything about her is in detain that most people would not believe. She can literally see...well FEEL actually...inside things. While her telekinesis is limited in use against metal and hard stone, it works perfectly well against other things. For example, the draparies that are part of the scene that suddenly swing up and wrap around the knife...

Domino has posed:
Domino lines up the shot -- and then the lights suddenly go out. She curses under her breath, having just caught the edge of something moving, but unable to make it out. Aiming blind, she fires a shot into the dark, aiming for somewhere around Sybil. The gun is armed with a tranquilizer dart, the compound mixed for a standard human biology.

Luck will take it from there.

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
As "Ford" raised the knife to strike down Sybil, a loop of scenery from a nearby set window wraps around and tangles over the weapon, stalling Ford just long enough for the tranquilizer dart to strike his neck. As it does, the lights of the set flicker back into view as everyone starts to panic and shout that Ford is back and aiming to kill another actress! Thankfully, the mixture seems to be doing its job as Ford lets go of the knife, staggers and stumbles over, apparently knocked out cold.

Everyone seems taken aback that Ford actually did seem to be a killer... until a voice calls out from the rafters. "Don't be fooled! That's not me! And he's NOT human!" Swinging down from his perch on a rope, it's... Ford? But... wait a minute. If this was Ford... then who was the guy on the floor? And... why was he laughing? "Hehehehe... I was hoping to lull everyone off, finish the job when you all had your guards down... didn't count on YOU showing up." "Ford" started to chuckle as he lifted himself off the ground and dislodged the tranq dart, dropping it to the floor. "Found yourself a good shot. But sedatives don't work on me, kid." Real Ford pointed a finger at "Ford". "I don't know who shot the tranq... but this charade ends now! You will not kill anyone else on my watch!"

"Ford" simply laughed. "You've been playing the hero part too long, kid. We're actors, you and I... we only play the part we're given."

Gypsy Moth has posed:
Sybil can tell this person...and she uses the term loosely, is not a normal human. He is denser, his body structure less defined. She is not able to tell what he is made of, such is not in her power. It is something she can effect...but how much? She decides to start with something fairly simple...holding his eyelids closed. See how well he handles being blinded. She can do far worse...to normal humans. She is not sure on this things.

Domino has posed:
The lights come on, and Domino finally gets to see what she shot. The albino merc raises an eyebrow... well well. This wasn't what she thought she was getting... but it still might be profitable.

With a smirk on her lips, she quickly flicks the safety on her rifle, slinging it over her shoulder, and runs to leap off the building!

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
As Sybil makes the effort to try forcing "Ford" to shut his eyelids. And fortunately, it seems to work! For a brief bit, "Ford" can't seem to open his eyelids, which frustrates him to no end. "Grrrrr! You... I don't know what kind of tricks your pulling, but it's not going to work on me! Go on! Call in all the friends and help you like! It ain't gonna stop me! I won't let you take my legacy! I WON'T LET YOU!"

Ford clenched his fists as he tensed up. "Everyone, get back! He's a shapeshifter!" Almost as if on cue, "Ford" started to... melt, for lack of a better word. He warped and twisted in on himself before suddenly growing bigger... and bulkier... and made of clay! Finally, the big brute of a... thing stood at least 10 feet tall and barely human shaped, a simplistic set of facial features molding into existence on his head. "Now, fools! Face the wrath of Clayface!" He lifted a hand up as it morphed into a spiked mace, winding back and throwing it towards Ford and Sybil, with the actor aiming to push the leading lady out of the way of the attack... which lands conveniently close to the ground where Domino is diving to.

Gypsy Moth has posed:
Sybil jumps up and grabs an overhead mike, deftly swinging out of the way. It probably should not support her weight, but somehow it does. She shouts, "Prop man, scene #37." If he is clay or protien, either way enough heat should give him a problem. If she can get some incendiaries...especially if they are inside his body they will hurt.

Domino has posed:
Luck be a lady tonight, and said lady lands feet first on the maced arm just as its momentum has stopped. Domino is standing perfectly between the spikes.

Drawing her rifle over her shoulder and levelling it right at 'Ford's' face, she smirks. "Hi there Mr. Bill. Sluggo has a special delivery for you."

She pulls the trigger, firing yet another tranq dart.

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
Ford fell flat on the floor as Sybil grabbed the mic and hoisted herself upward to safety. Meanwhile, Domino landed safely on the clay hand and readied her rifle, firing off another tranq round in between his eyes. It lodges itself in him... before sinking in and disappearing underneath the surface. "Here, toots. You dropped this." Clayface grumbled back before rising a hand and making a finger gun at Domino, lowering his thump as the dart flew right back for her.

Meanwhile, on the ground, Ford rubbed his neck before blinking. "Scene #37? That's the- oh! I get it!" The stage lights! Though, with the hands having run off for safety, nobody was left to handle the lights... except for Ford! "Leave it to me! Keep him busy!" he shouted, before running for the scaffolding of the light placements and immediately starting to clamber back up to his perch... quite nimbly, as a matter of fact! Clearly, he's quite an acrobat!

Gypsy Moth has posed:
Sybil can do a few things...and while she is not letting on, one of them is FLY. That means she can be not only a good acrovat, but one who can do things that are literally impossible for a notmal athlete. She will not do the impossible unless sge HAS to, but the merely improbable she can and will do. She says to the interloper, "Clayface...ew I can see why. With a mug like that, you deserve it. Bet you can't catch me, ugly!"

Domino has posed:
Domino's sudden sinking causes her to stumble; she falls backwards, just in time to have the dart fly past her. Arching her back and putting her hands down, she catches herself, but is in a rather... untenable position, practically curled into a reverse C-shape at the worst possible angle, lodged partway in Clayface.

"Yeah, just call me butterfingers," she quips. "Do I qualify as a stuntwoman for this? Or is this more of a position for the ah, 'casting couch'?" she asks aloud. Might as well try a distraction tactic at this point.

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
Ford clambered up and started to swing lights on the railings above into place, pointing them towards Clayface. It was subtle... but the heat was starting to build up. Which may be unfortunate for poor Domino as she is currently lodged into Clayface himself. "Yes! On both counts~" Ford shouted, before kicking another light into place.

Meanwhile, Domino might start to feel herself sinking in further and further into Clayface's arm, clearly being absorbed into his earthy body. But the effort is taking some time. Meanwhile, the other arm of Clayface is being swung like a giant scythe at Sybil as she bounds and spins around him. "My scarred face was what got me my starring role! You pristine, perfect harlots think looks make the actor!? Let's see how well you act without that pretty face!"

Domino has posed:
"Perfect harlot?!" Domino protests. "I will have you know that I am NOT perfect!" She can tell she's sinking, and there's limited room to move and work. Dropping onto her rear completely, she reaches to side holsters and takes out a pair of plasma energy pistols, the charges set to send waves of electric shock where they make contact with flesh, but not cause permanent damage. She can't use the .44s when she's already part of the target.

She jams the barrels of both guns down on the muck she's sinking into directly, opening fire with multiple shots.

Gypsy Moth has posed:
Sybil responds "Perfection is always an opinion, but ugly is an inside trait. You ACT ugly as you look." She dodges and PUSHES at the arm to make it miss her by inches...it is hard to do given how much he weighs. Cramps can not be given, nerves can not be stressed, blood vessals can not be burst...her biological attacks are useless, only the broadest of effects can do anything at all. Still, distact him she can...

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
Clayface doesn't react in pain to Domino's sudden flurry of explosive shots... but he does react. Thankfully, it seems to be enough to loosen her from his grasp and toss her loose from the main mass. His other hand just /barely/ misses Sybil as she shoves his massive scythe of a hand free... but this time, he seems to be having trouble retracting it. After a few troubled grunts, he pulls it back... only to note that the rest of him is starting to harden and chip. "Wha... what's... happening to me!?" he shouted.

"Basic science, Karlo!" Ford shouted from his perch in the lights above. "Whole lotta heat dries out clay!" Ford held up the rope in his hands before leaping back and making a swing towards Clayface worthy of an action movie entrance. Feet out, he kicked into Clayface's side... and absolutely shattering him all across the floor! Curiously doing so with a lot more weight than it seems a normal human could generate... oh well!

Domino has posed:
Domino covers her face from the shattering debris and dust. She's finally free, shaking dried crust off her boots, and holstering her weapons at last.

Standing up, she brushes herself off quickly and walks over, closer, to where Ford is, still ready for surprises, should they come.

Gypsy Moth has posed:
Sybil says, "Put the pieces in separate containers that can be sealed, he will not be killed, but he probably can not do much while separated into pieces." Well, she does not THINK he will be killed, she really does not know much about how he works...but it seems a safe assumption. As long as the pieces can not rejoin, he should be out of action.

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
As Domino and Sybil approach through the settling clay dust, Ford can be found kneeling on the ground next to a particularly large chunk from the crash. As Sybil speaks, Ford raised a hand to request quiet, staring intently at the chunk... before it rolled over with a number of painful looking cracks, revealing it to be the clay face of Clayface. "Ah...ha ha... not the death scene I would've hoped for, but... the curtain has to fall sometime, doesn't it?"

Ford simply stared back at Clayface for a bit, before shaking his head. "...I'm hurt, Karlo. You were an acting idol of mine. Why do all this?" Clayface gave a few painful winces as more flecks of dry clay fell off. "My... movie... it was... mine... I didn't want... people to forget it... I didn't want... to be forgotten..." Ford sighed, hanging his head. "Do you think they'd remake it if it was forgotten? It's a cult classic... it's why I took the role to begin with. It was a tribute to your work... you taught me acting is more than just looks. I could never match your skill... but I wanted to make a worthy dedication to your efforts."

Clayface listened quietly a moment, sitting in silence before chuckling in pain again. "Hehe... you mean that, kid?" Ford nodded. "'The best actors are the ones being genuine.'" The smile on Clayface's head widened, cracking massively as he did so. "Ha... ha... my old words... please... kid... don't let... them... forget..." Whatever strength he has left seems to leave him as his head fractures right down the center and cracks in half.

Ford stayed knelt on the ground for a bit before standing up. "I won't, Mr. Karlo... I'll find a way."

Gypsy Moth has posed:
Sybil shakes her head, "He should know, a remake always makes people think of the original. Let this be seen, and people will remember who did it first. Many will see this, and look to the original for the first time. Some will like the original better, some will not, but they will REMEMBER."

Domino has posed:
For once, Domino lays off the witty reparte. "Can't really crack wise at a situation like this. You've got more heart that I'd have in this situation, Benett. Though I question your choice of idols, I don't question your motives."

Ford Benett (187) has posed:
As Ford stood up, he shook his head. "I don't really know what happened to Karlo... but I suspect it made him a bit loopy. But... thanks. The both of you. I-" Ford was cut off by the sound of approaching sirens as the GCPD finally were arriving at the scene. He looked up at the cop cars on the street beyond before smiling. "Sounds like the law is finally here. Good... I was tired of running from 'em." Nodding to both (with perhaps a wink thrown back as he did so), Ford walked towards the cops with his hands in the air, surrendering himself at long last. Meanwhile, Roland is with the apparent head of the cops as he guides him to the camera feeds. Clearly, Roland wisely left them running to capture video evidence of the tussle, undoubtedly proving Ford's innocence once and for all.
