Cast of Characters: Kid, Chris Redfield

Kid has posed:
The recent nightmares Kid has experinced has made him particular agitated and he didn't know why. And frankly he wasn't sure he wanted to. Perhaps it was the stress of this unusal new life? He didn't know, but at least he was getting a break from it all.
It was just afternoon, and with some lecture over with, Kid was allowed to cease the day for his own likeing. Though he couldn't go from the UN building for now. So he seattled for the top of a nearby parking garage. It was mostly empty, offerred a great view, and he could still go to nearby stores if need be!
Though for now, Kid stayed up there. He was in front of a very old truck, with various other electronics scattered about. Tools, nuts, bolts and wires littered the ground, along with an sack containing fruits, fish and meats. A nearby radio was playing some violin music of some modern songs - Believer by the sounds of it.

Chris Redfield has posed:
As part of a SHIELD assignment, Redfield was placed on guard duty for the UN meeting. Thankfully, nothing happened, and he was permitted to simply go and return home. Though...as per the usual, he has that burner phone on him juuuust in case he has another assignment that they actually need him for.

As a result, Chris starts heading for a simple car that was already prepared for him...only to find kid! He tilts his head for a second before he approaches. Kid's truck, or at least it's assumed to be his, was right next to Chris's own ride, after all.

     "Havin' a good day?"

Chris's attire was pretty...practical. He wore a simple leather jacket with other casual clothing. T-shirt, jeans, etc. Otherwise unexciting.

Kid has posed:
The massive gorilla turns his head to look over Chris. Glancing him over from head to toe - least he doesn't seem like an idiot, or like someone looking to bother him. And probably used to weirdness as most don't approach him.
Kid pushes himself away from the truck and stands shaking off his fur before signing "No. But least I get to do this" A watch on his wrist lights up several time and actuall speaks in his place.
Kid scratches his belly, all he wore was a pair of jean shorts, a tool belt...and that was it. He didn't need much especially for something like this "Who are yea and what yea want?"

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris is also making sure the Gorilla..yeah, gorilla, isn't causing any trouble. Chris is actually armed to the teeth, but his weapons are under his clothes. Regardless, Chris approaches Kid and looks up at him. A blink. Chris doesn't know sign language. But he does smile when it appears Kid has a translation device.

"Well, ain't that a shame. As for your question, the name's Chris. and you're next to my car." Chris says almost amusedly. Not the truck, but the car one over. "That anyway to greet a stranger? What's your name then, since I told you mine?" Chris approaches his car.

After all, if the Gorilla is evil, he figures he'll just shoot it many times.

But for now? he's seen weirder things.

Kid has posed:
Kid leans forward and sniffs at Chris. Yes, sniff. Seeming half curious, half aggressive. Parts of his arms are wrapped in bandages, as are his legs. They were dirty from working. He signs "Yes, it is a way. Jua is my name, I guess" followed by a shrug. He open the trucks hood to look at the engine, picking up a wrench.
As Chris approaches his car...he might notice that he was missing a tire (held up with a cinder block) and the majority of bolts. One of the tires on Kid's truck seems to be the same brand as his own, while the other three were not.

Chris Redfield has posed:
     Chris is sniffed.

     Gross.

But he seems to maintain his friendly personality until...He looks at the car. Eyes shift to his vehicle to notice that one of his tires is missing. He glances then to Kid's truck, before those eyes once again find Kid's, narrowing his eyes.

"....did you take a tire off my car?" he asks to see if Kid is even honest at all. Clearly he's extremely suspicious and...not to be that guy, but he appears right to do so.

     ...given the evidence.

Kid has posed:
Kid snorts and signs "You think /I/ took your tire?" a mock gasps "No, it was some random ghost. Do us both a favor and save us time by not asking stupid questions. Ain't like there anyone esle who is up here" he was...burtality honest and somehow despite using a watch with a sythentic voice, came off as sarcastic.
He was so unworried he turned and looked back into his trucks engine and rubs his face as if frustrated, grumbling to himself, as if trying to solve a puzzle.
He signs while contemplating "Why? Yea want it back somethin?" He had no sense of guilt or shame on him..that can be seen anways.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Despite Kid's apparent rudeness, Chris tilts his head at the fellow before he just takes a deep breath. "Man, no wonder nobody likes Gorillas. Rude and prone to theft." Chris says in a 'man, what a drag' kind of way before he looks at the apparently frustrated Gorilla. Though what might make Kid even more upset is that Chris is the perfect level of calm.

He deals with Nick Fury. This guy's nothing.

"I do. Kinda need that car to get outta here to my next assignment. Kindly return it where you found it please."

Chris may be many things, but he's a gentleman and polite.

Kid has posed:
Calm doesn't make Kid upset. Actually - Kid behaves better around calm people as it doesn't mess with him so badly on an empathetic level. May even help in some cases. Though he snorts from the comment and signs "And humans are prone to killing their own kind just for being different or any number of other dumb reasons. Whats your point?"

Indeed, the car was more infruiting as he switches he tests a few wires.

"Sure. Want your spark plugs back too?" he signs. And than suddenly it dawns on him "the SPARK PLUGS of course!" he was excited now as he signs "Duh, it the wrong kinda spark plugs. How I miss that!" he knocks on his own skull rather roughly at what he perceived as a dumb mistake.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris personally just looks tired. and having a gorilla mess with his stuff. "Look man, I'm just trying to go home. If you took my sparkplugs too, yes, I'd like those back. I don't want to have to take my tire from you by force, alright?" Despite the words, Chris is still very calm. He really didn't want to call a highly trained squad to detain the gorilla and put him in a zoo.

It's already been a long day...

...especially since it was about a room full of old people not knowing what they want to do or being so opposed to each other that nothing gets done.

Kid has posed:
"Ain't like you don't got two hands or I am keeping them from you. Heh, seem I ain't the only one who had a crap day. Ever tried staying in a room with a bunch of folks lecturing about junk?" he asks.
Kid takes the spark plugs out of the car and tosses them to Chris, before picking up an appropiate socket wrench for use.
He knuckle-walks over to the side of the car and begins undoing a tire.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris simply nods a little bit. "Heh, nah." his voice was riddled with sarcasm about the folks lecturing stuff. "Wish those old guys would just make up their damn minds though." Chris catches the spark plugs effortlessly and tosses them in the trunk before shutting it.

"So, how long you been in New York for? Don't see too many gorillas around." making idle conversation.

Kid has posed:
Kid has to give pause in his work to speak back, while he never seem to lose his...aggressive aura it seems, he can be conversational. "Not sure about New York exactly - as I did traveled around this same basic area. But it is fair to say a bit over a year now"

This may be unusual when one considers that Gorilla City wasn't even known about untill this pastt summer - and even than the only known instance or at least the most famous of a sapiant gorilla outside of the revelation was Grodd.

"Know the feeling though. The other rilla are trying to 'educate' me about this stuff. Somethin about being a represntive" he shrugs and was more than halfway done the wheel by now.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris nods a few times as his eyes remain on the Gorilla, checking his phone to see if he got any texts or anything like that, but he was still paying extremely close attention to Kid's words. "Huh, fair enough. I haven't been here that long myself. Maybe...a month or two? I used to be put all over the place. What happens when you get to be a military officer, they station ya wherever they want." he shrugs then.

"and how's being a representative goin' for ya so far? Assuming the other gorilla's are good teachers and encouraging."

Kid has posed:
"I am only in training really. Not truely official, just offical enough not to be shipped off" Kid signs. "It is very...different life. It is conflicting life. Not sure if better, same or different. The other rilla are good teacher..encourging sure. But different. Guess it just getting used to things" he signs.

Kid lifts the back of the truck with effort as he grunts, getting the tire off. He rolls it over to Chris thankfully smaller car and lifts it the same, replacing the tire. With a sigh he sits back down and begins putting the bolts back on. He stops to sign "Lucky. Sounds like you got to see the world."

Chris Redfield has posed:
"Ahhh gotcha." Chris nods in somewhat understanding. "Sorry it's a bit tough man. I wouldn't know because well....I'm not really a representative of anyone." at that point, Chris sounds like he's utterly and completely alone. Just a guy doing his job. He moves well out of Kid's way when the hulking gorilla comes over and puts his tire back on his car.

"I wouldn't really call it seeing the world...more like I got to see an outpost and only the outpost on different parts of the world." he chuckles then. "But I've been around. Mainly just to Japan though."

Kid has posed:
Kid fur stands on end as he senses the emotion. He knows it all too well. "Most people are not. You probably share more with your fello humans than I do with other rillas" he signs, and finishes up bolting the tire down into place.
"And outpost is still more than...well one outpost" he signs his lips curling revealing an unsettling large canines that look better fit for a carnivore. His smile as it were "Spent most of my time in one spot seeing the same thing day after day after day after day. Uggh, least you got a plane ride I assume?" he signs. He than pats the car "Anyways your good to go. And do not worry, I didn't siphon off your fuel"

Chris Redfield has posed:
He smiles as the tire is put back onto the car. He walks up to Kid and offers the Gorilla a light fist bump. "Thanks for fixing her up man, I appreciate it." Chris really is the kind of guy to have a 'no harm no foul' kind of mentality.

Though as Kid tells him that an outpost is still an outpost, Chris nods lightly. "Yeah, I know the feeling. I spent most of my life in Metropolis. Sights get really boring after a while." he shrugs before he smiles.

Kid has posed:
Kid looks at the fist. He at least recognized it wasn't a threat. His own hand was -massive- as all rilla where when compared to a humans, but he none the less bumps it before signing "Well no problem. Though she could use a far better tune up, just saying" he looked under the hood after all.

"Metroplish is a good place for...yea sight seeing" he was about to sign something else but decides agaist it. "Anyways good luck on your assignment or whatever" he looks around. There weren't many other cars to pilfer that is for sure.
