Date of Scene: 17 September 2018
Location: Harlem, New York City
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Ghost Rider (Blaze), Spider-Woman (Drew)

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Well, for most nights in West Harlem...it tends to be the 'safe part of harlem' as opposed to it's other sections. It has the least crime, yes, but it also has the least wealth income. It's surprising really, considering the amount of colleges and schools in the area. But...tonight? that may change for once.

About 20 criminals seem to be overseeing some kind of drug deal. All armed. A man in a suit and a man wearing the more traditional style of gang-wear seem to be having a conversation regarding the heroin in an open and easily visible trunk of a car.

One of the heroes on the scene is Johnny Blaze...who is more here to exact vengeance on the souls there, who have committed unspeakable acts of crime. The sound of Johnny's motorcycle, a customized Yamaha V-Max is easily heard as Blaze himself seems to drive to a point where he can scope out the scene. His eyes glowing like Hellfire, but he doesn't interfere just yet. Seeing who all is there...

     and forming a plan.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Amongst the debauchery in the area is another who isn't beyond playing superhero. She started out in black fatigues, looking all but military in her garb, and her original intent was actually to scope out the area, as an ever-growing perimeter from the cemetery where, not long ago, she lost her car to a couple of joyriding imps, and fought off what appeared to be spirits and demons. But those /don't/ exist. Right?

Jessica Drew now crouches atop a building just above the heads of the lion's share of the criminals in on the deal. But she's no longer in black fatigues. Now she wears the suit emblazoned with a spider and its web. Now she wears the mask that conceals her visage. Her lenses, often glowing, are now dark, as she crouches and waits. The motorcycle is not beyond her notice. And she knows to whom it belongs. As such, she figures anyone she can catch in whatever web she lays is going to be better off than those caught by the Ghost Rider.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Heh, well...Jessica isn't quite wrong there. Though when it comes to heroes, it's quite possible that literally //anything// is better than being caught by the Ghost Rider. After parking that bad boy, Johnny adjusts his black leather gloves and places his chain around his torso diagonally, before approaching the members of that drug deal.

If Jessica's senses were strong enough, apparently this is going to be put into the water supply...or tried to, in an attempt to push out a rival gang...but it puts hundreds of people in the crossfire and many more will likely be injured if Johnny and Jessica do nothing.

But now Johnny's back in the 'taking souls and digging holes' Business....and business is a boomin'.

Regardless, people seem to be unaware of Jessica's presence, but with Johnny sauntering up, they all train their guns on him....even as he fearlessly keeps walking. They shout multiple threats, and look about ready to fire.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
As guns are trained on Johnny, the slightest smirk crosses Jessica's lips beneath her mask. Shoot him all they want, they'll only piss him off. And they won't like him when he's angry. She instead takes the opportunity as all eyes are on the approach of Johnny Blaze, to brace herself and make sure she has a clear shot at the trunk of the car. She rapidly fires off enough webbing to cover the cargo in the trunk, and gives it a hefty tug. Unless it's somehow fused with the car, she's about to have a heroin delivery the likes of which she's never seen before.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny just kept on walkin', even if one of the gang members kept his eyes on Johnny and seemed scared to pull the trigger. He should be. But...trigger finger always gives in at the end, so, once one bullet flies? All of them fly. Straight into Johnny, who makes zero effort to dodge anything...watching as the bullets just ping off of him. But it's clear he might need a new shirt.

Huh, so this is how it feels. He owe's Cage $20.

Johnny then seems to smile as he sees that webbing tag the drugs in the trunk and proceed to yank it back to a familiar face. Spider-Woman! Good to see her still about. But, now that he knows the drugs are gone, and at least in far better hands, he focuses his attention on the criminals.

"Time to pay for your sins."

Then it happens...skin lights ablaze, burning away like paper to a burning flame. Like embers drifting in the wind, muscle soon fades until all that's left is a skull, set ablaze in eternal Hellfire.

The Ghost Rider had arrived. The gang members seem to all start panicking, emptying their clips into the Ghost Rider once again as it walks forward.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
With the heroin safely stashed away, Spider-Woman returns to the edge of the roof, crouching. This time she's farther down, behind the backs of those turned toss all their ammunition at the Ghost Rider. She tosses out one web at a time, cocooning the goons in singles and pairs and giving them a quick jerk to put them on the ground. "You're in time-out. Time to sit there and think about what you've done..." But she can only web up so many before that flaming beacon of death makes it to the group. She has a feeling this might be a losing battle.

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
     A losing battle indeed.

Ghost Rider draws that silver, bladed chain from around his body, the length of which is almost terrifying to think about. But as that blade is drawn? It catches on fire...and with a single swing, three gangsters appear to meet a terrible end as those seering flames slice through their bodies. Not quite in half, but enough to either kill them or leave them severely injured/maimed.

The Rider then notices Drew...nope, she's still good. She repented/is repenting for her stuff...as per the usual. So thankfully, Drew doesn't have a target on her back.

Though because they work together, the criminals are either dead, webbed up unsconsciously against the walls and floor, or have managed to escape...but they'll get there's soon enough.

     Then? Silence.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"Good goin, Hot Shot." Jessica is wary. and watching for others, even as she speaks. Between you and me, I think we've got this one pretty well taken care of." She lowers herself slowly, spinning languidly on her web until her toes touch the earth. "I didn't hear anything about this on my comm. How'd you find out about it?"

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Blaze, seeing that all the hunting has been finished, reverts from Ghost Rider back to his human form, skin and hair and muscle regrowing upon his features like nothing had even happened. He runs a hand through his hair as he turns to look at Drew. "I'm a sin hunter, Jess. I sensed the monstrous evil in their souls and I tracked it down."

A small grin on his face as he approached Drew, as if about to offer his old friend a hug. "How've you been?" He looks her over. "New look?"

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"Well yeaaah, but APART from beig a sin hunter whosesole purpose is stuff like this...." Her wit is dry, but she cracks a smile. "I was here for other things, butI ran into this, and absolutely COULDN'T leave it alone."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Hug or no hug, Johnny smiles lightly to Drew. "Of course you couldn't. You're too driven to. Even though I had it handled." He winks at her. Her pheromones touch his senses, and, probably to Jessica's annoyance, Johnny cannot help BUT be physically, mentally, and romantically attracted to her. Seems While the Ghsot Rider has a resistance, Johnny does not. He smiles to her, and if she was looking at him, she could see it in his eyes.

     "So...what are you doing later?"

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"I..I'm..." She fumbles for words, until she notes the look in Johnny's eyes. "I have a d-date," Jessica says, tucking her mask in the back of her belt. "B-but he's usually late," she offers quickly. She looks at her wrist, where a utilitarian watch rests. "Was...supposed to be half an hour ago..."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny smiles softly to Jessica as she fumbles for words, attempting to lie to Johnny to try and save herself from any kind of situation regarding flirting. But Johnny couldn't help but laugh a little bit. "Jess.." he leans closer, and whispers. "I can tell when you're lying." he winks at her....but remains close.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
Jessica flushes deep pink and looks around, attempting to move farther away from Johnny. "You don't want any part of this mess," Jess says, breathing a laugh. "It's just...just your imagination," she explains. "Pheromones and excitement of the hunt. Y'know? Nobody wants any part of this. I promise ya."

Ghost Rider (Blaze) has posed:
Johnny smiles lightly to Jessica, nodding a bit. "If you say so...though honestly Jess?" He smiles lightly. "I'd want a part of that mess any day of the week. Pheromones or no Pheromones." He grins softly, before He turns heel to walk to his bike. "I'll see you soon, Drew." He grins to her softly.

Spider-Woman (Drew) has posed:
"Yeah," Jess says, watching him as he gets on his bike. "Sure..." She pulls her mask from her belt and pulls it over her head, and watches him for just a moment longer before firing a web to a nearby rooftop and swinging off into the city.
