Storm has posed:
The world is a melting pot of ideas, decisions, and actions. Since returning to America years ago, Ororo Munroe has learned the ways of the modern world and appreciates the life that joining Charles Xavier affords her. She had become one of his X-Men and the ways of her past were nearly forgotten. However, that is until the news starts broadcasting footage of the terror that claims Kenya. The bodies of men, women, and children stain her psyche, and even as she runs at a full pace, her concentration slips.

Five miles complete, but Ororo stops a few feet short of the finishing line as her expression proves she is distracted by her thoughts. Before her, she can see the muscular silhouette of her date as he waits for her, and her pace lessens even more. Breathing is heavy as the air flows through her mouth to healthy lungs, and sweat drips across mocha skin, causing it to glisten just slightly by the surrounding lights. The evening breeze cools her temperature just slightly, as her subconscious mutation to adjust to any setting does the rest. But the look on Ororo's face does not adjust.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris was already doing a bit of a run today Dressed in standard gym clothes: a tank top and some nike gym shorts that come down to his knees, Chris shows off his rock hard physique as he pauses to wait. A smile though, as he sees his date start to arrive, slowing to a stop as his eyes never left her for even a single moment. It was like an angel coming down to give him a grand prophesy.

Instead, as she slows to a stop? He tries to meet her half way, for a hug in greeting to hold her close, and perhaps even give her an affectionate kiss to her cheek. "Ororo, it's good to see you. How are you?" He asks with legitimate interest.

Storm has posed:
Wearing a black sports bra with the logo of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters placed in the center, Ororo curses to herself when she doesn't finish the full mile. She pulls a towel from the back of her high waist leggings and starts to wipe off her face just as Chris approaches to meet her halfway. While his hug and kiss are not dismissed, there is still focus missing when Ororo reciprocates the friendly affection.

"I'm sorry, Chris," Ororo replies, pulling back from their embrace. "Normally, I would finish strong but something is weighing heavily on my mind at the moment. I don't know -- it's nothing. Sorry." She dabs her abdomen with the towel, freeing herself from the perspiration that lingers over a feminine six pack. "Please, forgive my runaway thoughts. I don't want them to ruin our moments together." There is something clearly affecting the Kenyan woman.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris holds Ororo for a little longer before she pulls away to tell him that she was sorry. "It's alright." he smiles to her, moving a hand to try and hold her own. "Storm, I know something's bothering you. You don't hide it well." He moves closer to her. "Talk to me. What's wrong?"

His eyes hold a world of worry with them. As if they were eternally worried about the woman before his eyes. Her pain was his pain. Her hate was his hate.

"What happened?"

Storm has posed:
While Chris connects with Ororo's emotional state, the weather does the same as the evening breeze begins to pick up in intensity. In turn, the temperature unnoticeably lowers while clouds begin to slowly form and gather in the sky high above the park. The Kenyan woman does not yet know she is affecting the weather subconsciously, but it is Chris' words and his hand that brings her back to reality.

"Ororo," she corrects, disregarding the terminology as her blue eyes connect with the man before her. A breath of tense air escapes and Ororo shakes her head slowly, almost dismissively. "I'm just worried about the state of affairs in Kenya right now. The rampages and murders in the surrounding areas on the borders is concerning, especially with the mutant involvement."

Chris Redfield has posed:
"Ororo." Chris allows her to correct him, but he still pays close attention to her. It's like he's completely unfazed by her subconscious control of the weather. But, as she spoke, Chris seems to nod slowly. "I heard bits and pieces about what's been happening....I'm sorry." But then he looks her in the eyes.

"How about you and I go and we see if we can fix it?" he squeezes her hand. "Your problems are my problems. I'm a package deal." he smiles softly to the woman he considers his girlfriend, but he awaits an actual answer from her before making assumptions.

"You and me. I think we can fix more than one problem."
