Just another evening
Date of Scene: 13 December 2018
Location: Pops Chok'lit Shop, Starling
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Betty Cooper, Sister Reinhardt

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper is at her usual spot at Pop's, laptop out as always, and a book on werewolves next to the laptop. Today a vanilla milkshake rests in front of her instead of the usual strawberry. She doesn't -always- have to have pink everything after all! In fact today her sweater is white, her jeans are pink, and her shoes are white.

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
That is when a strange, red haired woman strides her way into Pops and looks about. "huh." She says as she looks at her phone. "I guess this IS Riverdale." She says softly before she goes to the counter....and asks if it is Riverdale. Who knows...she might be lost.

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper is at the moment too focused on her story to notice Suzanne. No doubt Pop's will try to speak to Suzanne and assure her that it is indeed Riverdale. Ravens caw and fly away from the dumpster outside and Betty turns to look out the window.. she may or may not be expecting to see monsters behind every noise right now. With a sigh she turns back to her laptop and her reading.

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
Pops does talk to Suzanne a bit, and she asks questions about a festival that's going to be happening in Riverdale in a few days. Apparently there's some sort of music festival and Suzanne was asked to show up to help with the sound equipment. then Pops gestures towards betty and Suzanne tilts her head. "uhm...Miss Cooper?"

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper blinks with a very very quiet sigh, as Pop once again turns a visitor towards her. But as always she plays the "girl next door" and replies politely, "Oh.. yes?" She casually sets the werewolf book down... the blank back of it facing up to hide the title..

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
The woman extends her hand. "I'm Suzanne Reinhardt. I'm supposed to be the sound tech Mister Weatherbee called to get the equipment set up for the music Festival. Sadly, I don't know my way around Riverdale." She then looks to Pop. "I'll take a cheeseburger and a vanilla milkshake." She says turning back to Betty. "Mind if I join you?"

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper shrugs, "It's alright if you want to sit. I'm just doing some school work.." It's not a lie really... "Not much of a festival person honestly but I'll probably be there. I'm the editor for my school's newspaper and it's kind of expected that I take pictures and document it.."

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
"Mmmm..." Suzanne says before she slides into the booth. "Never been much of a photographer myself. Mostly work with sound systems and DJs. It sounds easy but it's a lot harder than it sounds." She then looks to Betty's book and tilts her head. "What sort of school work?"

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper shrugs, "Just boring old homework.. that I don't really want to think about right now. This is the first time I've ever heard of a sound system person being brought in from out of town though.. but then it wouldn't take long to go through everyone qualified to do that in our little town.."

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
"Probably something to shake the town up, or to see if I can do something better than the locals." Suzanne says just as a black haired guy sprints past the window....with a much larger blonde haired guy chasing him. Suzanne tilts her head. "Is that normal?"

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper shrugs again, "Yeah pretty much.. probably football players being.. themselves. It's my job to point out the strange things in this town so trust me.. it's normal." She glances at her computer screen before shutting it, "I wouldn't worry about it honestly.."

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
"Strange things in town, huh? What've you seen around here then?" Suzanne seems to be curious, if nothing else." She does put her elbows on the table just as her burger and shake arrives....and Betty will definitely notice a blue ring on Suzanne's left hand....that she promptly covers with her right hand.....and places her chin on her right hand.

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper shakes her head, "Nothing worth really talking about.. just town drama. You'll be out of here before you have to worry about it." She does note the blue ring but doesn't say anything, instead glancing out the window again for a moment, "I am sure the festival will be boring and... boring. Just like every year."

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
"Sometimes boring can be good, Miss Cooper. Cuz boring and mundane is good for some, but sometimes, destiny can lead you down a different path." Suzanne gets really cryptic just before she puts on a pair of sunglasses that....weren't there before. Not only that...they're a lovely shade of blue. "I'll see you at the festival, Miss Cooper. And Hope it has the right kind of excitement....and not the wrong kind." She says as she walks out....and betty can swear the ring is.....glowing..

Betty Cooper has posed:
Betty Cooper blinks at the cryptic words but doesn't seem to pay much attention to the sunglasses, "Right.." She DOES notice the blue ring again which is now glowing... and blinks again. She pulls her laptop open as Suzanne continues to head towards the exit, pretending to be focused back on her screen..

Sister Reinhardt has posed:
Later on in the day, there are reports of strange things happening in Riverdale. Namely people just barely missing getting hit by cars due to a strange blue glow, or cats flying out of trees...with a strange blue glow....and many other different, yet minor instances...but all of them mention a blue glow.
