Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
A busy night, but since when isn't it here. People are wandering up and down the sidewalks, chatting, bumping into each other, minding their own business. Lets not forget going in and out of buildings. It's one such person that might catch a normal person's eye. A taur, a massively tall centaur can be seen stepping out of one of the buildings, somehow well seeming to both fit and make things fit as she steps out, without really ducking much.

There she is, standing broad side to the flow of foot traffic a bit as she checks her bags, while some just absent mindedly walk by her, say hello here and there, one even walks under her, and the real odd thing is the lack of startled reactions...

The Taur notices a police officer, and smiles, offering a wave, and getting a wave in return, before a startled double take and a stare, evidently training to be observant and all has someohow allowed the officer to see through, or work through whatever it is about the centauress that is keeping people from completely freaking out...

Kae then smiles and turns, tail flicking once and catching a poor passerby in the face... Horse hair in mouth isn't allways the best thing. Kae then blinks and apologizes "Oh sorry..." Seemingly her addressing the fellow gets this double take as well and a dumb mouth agape stare at the rather large woman as she begins clopping down the side walk.

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross notices the centaur walking in full view of everyone but she's not one to judge considering what's happened to her in recent years. Coming back from the dead will do that to you. She does stare for a few moments, probably long enough for Kaelyn to notice, and with a shrug she decides to continue on her way unless stopped.

Her phone buzzing gives her pause.. text.. from dad. Great. Here it comes..

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder, God of Light and Purity, brother of Thor and Loki was just walking through New York, dressed in his purple robes and leather armor over that. A golden-hilted sword at his side. Because, quite literally, he's new to Midgard. He's experienced very little of the world so far, so....might as well check it out, right?

Though, he notices a Centaur and he tilts his his head softly.

"What on earth?" Balder grips the hilt of his sword, as if he's ready for a fight. The God of Light approaches the Centaur, stopping in front of it. "uh....greetings and well met." he doesn't quite notice Betty at the moment.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae is being stared at by someone, that does kind of draw her attention, most norms don't when she's wearing her little 'somebody else's problem enchanted items... She pauses, a foreleg raised for now, and in one of those classical pause stances one might see a horse painted in, cept well she's a centaur.

Her hoof comes down with a heavy thud and she smiles and offers a friendly wave to Betty... Yup Betty's being addresssed.

Then Kae hears the 'What on earth' She's got good hearing right now, then turns and looks at the fellow who's hand is on his sword..

Kae studies him quietly for a bit, then tilts her head and taps her chin before saying "Asgardian?" She asks curiously, then motions to the sword hilt and clothes "Least yer stuff kinda screams Asgardian?" She asks...

Red She-Hulk has posed:
It is then that Betty notices someone approaching Kaelyn. She reads her father's text, sighs, and then starts to head towards Kaelyn, if only to create a reason not to respond to her dad. When she's close enough she can see Balder's sword.. and just blinks, "Sword? Cosplay?"

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder looks to Betty as she approaches. "Hail and well met. I am unfamiliar with this term...Cosplay?" he shakes his head. "I am from Asgard. I am Balder, God of Light and Prince of Asgard." his eyes then shift on over to Kaelyn.

"Hello, and yes, I am an Asgardian. It is nice to meet you.....what are you exactly?" because Balder hasn't seen a centaur before! intriguing!

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae ummms "Mage turned centaur... silly accident." She says with with a kind of pained smile..,.. "Anyhow technically the species is a Centaur... My lower half is well a clydesdale... a breed of draft horse." She responds, and looks back to Betty "nooo, that sword of his is like giving off tons of magic." She says and smiles a bit... "Definately full on Asgardian.."

Kae glances around then motions to an outdoor cafe area "Lets head over there out of traffic? I'll buy us a round of drinks, whatcha think>?"

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross continues looking at Baldur, "God.. of Light? Are you high?" Thor suddenly comes to mind and she sighs, "I guess it's not impossible that you are part of Thor's gang of gods but.. okay so all those times I prayed for proof of God and got nothing.. I can actually ask for it now. Let's see you do something godly."

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder blinks for a moment. "Centaur....interesting. I do not know of this species, but it is interesting to see first hand." his eyes shift to Betty, shaking his head. "I do not know what that word means. Midgardian tones are very....strange." he tilts his head. "Does not multiple religious scriptures of Midgard say not to test a God? I imagine you are what they call a 'scientist'. Is there anything in particular you'd like me to do? I cannot call thunder. that belongs to my brother."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae ummmmmms... She looks at Betty curiously and back to Balder... "Ummm, yeah, his Aura is Asgardian umm Miss..." she looks at betty curiously.. "And if you are trepadacious about what I have to say, umm, she waves a hand, and whispers a simple word, the word its self seeming to ring and well feel heavy and 'real' at the same time. Suddenly a large Raven is well on her shoulder.. "This would be Poe, as I said, I'm a Mage, a Sorceress if you will, I can see aura... He's not doing cosplay." She says with a smile...

She then umms "And anything he might do to really show off could lead to destruction or at the very least scare the populace here... And we really don't need the attention brought?" She says, a forehoof pawing the ground as her tail lashes once more... She then motions to the cafe.. "They have mead, again, my treat?"

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross shrugs, "Well I am looking at a centaur right now so a god is probably not outside of the realm of possibility at this point. And to be fair, I'm not religious, so testing gods doesn't violate my moral code. My name is Betty Ross, former girlfriend of Bruce Banner if you've ever met him. Considering that you're Asgardian you've at least met Thor I'm sure."

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder nods very softly to Kae. The Raven seems to pique his interest as well! He loved ravens. But, he nods. "A sorceress? I see. You would get along with Loki, perhaps." his eyes shift to Betty now, tilting his head. "I do not know who Bruce Banner is. I have been...adrift in the cosmos for some time." but he nods. "He's my brother. We played together as children, of course I know him."

he nods softly. "Nothing too large. Like the Centaur has spoken." he does smile to Betty. "I would not mind getting a drink with the both of you."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae smiles lsighlty "Name's Kaelyn... And umm, yeah.." Poe then speaks up "Brought me out just to invite friends to drink?" He asks, his voice is a prim and proper oxford english accented male voice. Kae then sighs "Just showing off a little without like raising folks ire?"

Poe's feathers ruffle a bit. "And being a giant horse's ass doesn't?" Kae blinks and peers at her Raven "You've been around Tanya to much.." Poe then replies "Well she does give me my favorite crackers.."

Kae stares and sighs, then looks to Balder and Betty, heading to the cafe area, she then folds her legs under her as she gets to a table so she isn't having to stare down at folks and all...

She then glances to Balder, then shrugs and orders, making sure to get him a quart of mead, then raises an eyebrow as she looks to Betty curiously... "Soo what would you like?" She asks, after shrugging and ordering her self the same sized cider...

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross blinks, "Yeah.. me drinking is probably not.. a good idea. I like to stay in control of my actions. It's complicated but trust me.. it's best for everyone if coffee remains the strongest thing I drink for the rest of my life."

Balder Odinson has posed:
Baldur looks to Betty. "Then..perhaps, in honor of that, we will drink water instead? it is just as refreshing." He looks to Kae as if to see if this is agreesable, before nodding. "A pleasure to meet you, Lady Kaelyn." he tilts his head just a bit as she talks to the raven. but he shrugs.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae peers at Betsy a bit and umms "Sooo how bout we all have umm.." She looks to the waitress apologeticly... "I know, really big fancy coffees then?" She says cheerfully "Or I can make mine really big, though for some reason I really favor apples..." She hmms and looks to the waitress "Pitcher of mulled cider, cinnamon and cloves in it please and ummm... "S he looks to Betty "Virgin SUnrise? Orange juice and Grenadine?" Then looks to Baldur curiously....

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross smiles a bit, "No just a black coffee is fine for me. Water is for post-workout. Coffee is more social." She looks at Kaelyn now, "So.. a centaur. Nothing weirds me out anymore but.. I mean.. where did you come from exactly? The Earth isn't exactly teeming with.. you. Sorry if that came out wrong.."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae umms "Well I'm a sorceress, and uhh yeah, I started out human. I messed up." She says with a shrug. "And it's not so easy as to unmagic my self. Gonna have to wait a bit till things stabilize and wear off slightly then I can get this swapped back." She adds and grins a bit

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross nods at Kae, "I see.. well now suddenly my problems seem pretty small. So.. what's it like then? Do you like being a centaur more than being a human? I mean that has to be quite a lifestyle change. Can you still eat the same foods? Did you have to re-model your house?" With the scientist in Betty coming out now, the questions have begun..

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder seems to aahhh just a moment as he looks between the two. His eyes shifting to Kae. "That is fair. So you used magic to transform yourself into a centaur? Why?" because, honestly, that's pretty unorthodox. He does look to Betty, giving her a very covert check out. "For a scientist, isn't it in it's very meaning to not believe in magic? I am curious."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae umms "Nooo I didn't per say intentionally change my self. Some imps stole into my shop, and ran off with a lot of items... In the process of chasing after them, they released the magic from a lot of the items at once, kind of creating a kind of thematic chaos magic zone.. That's what changed me... I was able to partially protect my self, which kept me from becoming a full on draft horse, but yeah I got the lower body, and my clothes changed into a pulling harness with bells.. I.E. a sleigh horse, oh and the rest of them turned into a damned sleigh." She adds and shrugs

"In short.. It was an accident, otherwise I'd change my self back like yesterday." SHe adds and laughs "This place is so not built for someone as tall as I am or as long and heavy as I am right now, I mean, I weigh over 1800 pounds..."

Kae glances to Betty "Well other than sheer amount of food? No... Body is actually kind of the best of both a human and an equine's digestive system, I can eat anything either species can eat." She responds and shrugs. "Full Dijestive system is well super efficient, muscles and the rate at which I metabolize oxygen is very good too, I don't get lactic acidosis as fast as either species.. so I can litterally run all day if I pace my self." She adds and shrugs.. "Lots of upsides, stronger, faster, down sides, the amount of food I have to consume, my sheer size makes for issues, I can't go on say regular elevators as I'm just too big. I have to use a lot of magic to get around long distances too. No vehicle driving, riding in airplanes or even my broom." SHe adds and grins a bit...

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross nods as Kaelyn explains, "Very interesting.. well who knows? You might miss these enhancements when you are eventually turned back." She answers Balder, "Actually no. I am a woman of knowledge so if magic happens to exist then science demands that I study it. I don't see myself ever casting spells but there's bound to be plenty to read on the subject."

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder looks to Betty with a tilt of his head. "But...if magic or the supernatural is not considered part of the natural world..." Balder just looks amused, but he doesn't push any further. His eyes though shift to Kaelyn. "It smells of Loki's doing, to do something so mischievous. but...I am happy that you are at least okay."

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae laughs "To be honest? Loki actually offered to help with the issue." She says with a smirk... When Kae gets her drink she takes a pull on the cider... She, realllly likes apples.

Kae looks between Betty and Balder "Well Magic has its own rules, guidelines, though it's also a bit of an art to boot... It's kind of hard to explain..." She says and shrugs "I mean, for instance, a mage who's mind is more orderly is going to have more orderly hardline ruled magic.. A mage who is more chaotic will have more chaotic magic." She says and rubs at the back of her neck.. "I'd be happy to get you a book on the subject if you like." She says to Betty, then looks to Balder.

"Yes I've met Loki a few times, and understand his background and all, so far, of my own experiences he does't seem quite so bad."

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross answers Balder, "If it exists then it's natural. I just don't see any reason why I shouldn't study it. I'm not a materialist, never really have been. I've always been open minded and willing to consider things that some of my peers were not. I believe that all things should be studied. I don't limit myself to 'traditional' science. It's a long story but.. I have some experience with the paranormal."

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder tilts his head softly to Betty. "Interesting. I enjoy you're company better than most Midgardian scholars." he nods approvingly to her, then he looks at Kae. "Really? that's surprising of him. Did he tell you what he once did to Lady Sif? Ask him someday why her hair is such a beautiful raven black." he teases, knowing his brother is quite the prankster.

but he hums, ordering himself a glass of water.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae ooh's and nods "Well I dn't think we had time those days for him to be super pranky and stuff, had to help out Stephen Strange." She says and shrugs.. "Can't really go into that one much further than that, really complicated matter I don't completely understand." She adds and grins a bit... "Still folks started waking up and all is well." She adds.. Kae takes another sip on her Cider and tilts her head at the order of water.. Yup Kae is at least doing the whole non alchololic thing... H

Her forgotten Raven? Well he's climbed into her backpack, after muttering about going home. Maybe her backpack will get em there? Kae umms "Soooo, yeah, I'm pretty much allways 'blessed' with a case of the munchies now, would anyone like something to eat?'

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross nods, "Yes and I think most scientists here are at least somewhat in line with my way of thinking. I mean more than one paranormal event has been broadcasted on live news in recent years. It's pretty clear to everyone on Earth now that things are not as we thought they were thirty years ago."

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder looks at Betty and he seems to smile brightly. "Well...for now at least. You're one of the only ones. People like...what's his name, Reed Richards? Is calling magic science we don't understand and the Gods as simply extra-planar beings. It is like the supernatural barely functions anymore in the eyes of mortals. but I am happy to see you are at least different."

His eyes shift then to Kae. "The sorcerer Supreme?" yes, Balder knows who Strange is.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae nods "Yup... I work with em now and then, my really chosen specialization within the wizarding world is as an Artificer... I enchant, make potions, make artifacts and the like." She says and shrugs "Strange, and his helper buy supplies from me now and then, and I work with him too." She says with a slow shrug... "Heck, this whole thing with me having a horse for a butt is kind of baffling to him too... "

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross smiles, "Yes well there is a difference in technology and magic. Technology is something you fashion with your hands and your mind. Magic is.. something quite different entirely. That much is obvious because the way either are employed are clearly different. Science in practice is learning at the end of the day." Then to Kaelyn, "Artificer huh? Maybe you can show me some of what you've created some time. I'd be very interested in learning. Maybe one day potions and enchanted objects will be part of every day life on Earth."

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder looks to Kae with a bit of a smile on his face. "Helper? I was unaware he had one. good to know." he...does't comment on the horse-butt thing. which is wise. he looks then to Betty, smiling brightly to her. Always willing to meet another soul who dedicates their time to scholarship!

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae grins "Different study, just as much difficulty to learning magic as there is to becoming a top scientist too..." She then grins "On top of that, believe it or not there's a lot more magic in this world than you think. We've mostly had to go underground and hide it as much as possible, what with the witch hunts, and inquisitions and all... Even now, how do you think a bunch of non-magic folk would react if they found out if magic existed, and not only that a lot more than you might think... "

Kae then grins "Also in addition to learning math, english, science, and whatnot, I had my own magical studies too. For me, it definately wasn't easy... Oh and I might add hardly any of those witch hunts actually caught a witch.. A witch of any learning would umm probably be able to hide very well.. Heck, my grandmother was part of the whole underground moving a bunch of those accused witches to different parts and hiding them when they were accused at Salem."

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross listens to Kae intently, "Yes there was a time when scientific discoveries of any kind which challenged the religious and political authorities were banned. Even today there's remnants of that attitude but fortunately, at least in this part of the world, such free thinking is not punishable by death. But yes Kaelyn I would love to see your work some time!"

Balder Odinson has posed:
Balder seems to enjoy listening to the ladies converse at this point, reaching over to sip at his water as he looks between the women. A centaur, a God, and a scientist walk into a bar. This...is the start of a hilarious joke.

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae tilts her head "Want to see my work?" She then shrugs and orders a hamburger paddy? SHe grins at Betty and waggles the paddy over her shoulder silently when it arrives.

There's suddenly a chirp from her backpack and out lunges a tiny cat-sized dragon? It's got burnished bronze scales, tiny silver runes down its spine and all and if one looks reaaallly close one see that its eyes are made of internally faceted amethysts...

Kae grins "Something I made..."

Red She-Hulk has posed:
Betty Ross is quite impressed, "Amazing! Do you have a.. like a workshop? I'd love to see it! And you've been doing this your entire life?"

Kaelyn Silverleaf has posed:
Kae nods "Family is a magical family.." She says with a shrug and pats the little dragon who promptly plops down in the middle of the paddy she sets on the plate and begins eating "Yeah, Fahnuil is a wonderful little accident... "She then pulls her phone out of her pocket "looks like a normal phone, designed to do so, but it's also a magical artifice." She says and demonstrates a little bit by scrolling through the phone, showing what she's scrolling to. She then holds the phone screen up and a rod impressed with silver runes (A wand folks) appears just above the phone, it spins slowly, and Kae grabs it.. She then taps it on the table a few times and simply drops it back into the phone's screen....

"Just some of the stuff I make, and yeah, yer welcome to visit... It's Enchanted Grounds over in Bludhaven..."
