| Synopsis: | Colossus returns to the X-Mansion and is greeted outside by the Southern Belle with a smile and a hug! |

- Rogue has posed:
Its a late afternoon at Xavier's in the dead of winter with snow having fallen on the grounds a few days ago. The driveways are perfectly swept and the snow is picturesque in its placement around the lovely Xavier School property.
As of right now? The front yard is pretty quiet, there's one green car parked out in front of it and this one belongs to Rogue. Its a 2026 Bently in Racing Green... where she got that kind of car is anyone's guess!
Its only recently parked too, as the driver is still inside. She's unplugging her phone from the dash and stepping out of it just now, wearing a dark charcoal gray Navy peacoat and a dark green wool cap on her head, jeans and boots, gloves on her hands which shove the door shut lightly. The twenty year old with the white striped bangs is humming whatever song she was just listening to on the radio as she moves around the front of her car.

The relative silence is broken by the sound of a car pulling up to the end of the driveway. A taxi stops at the edge of view, and the weight of it visibily shifts as Piotr climbs out of the back seat. He walks around to the trunk and withdraws a large Russian style military bag, and he hoists it over his heavy shoulder. The big man is dressed in heavy pants and boots, with a fur-lined coat over flannel. He's dressed for the weather.
Piotr had a bit of a falling out with Kitty over her leaving for awhile, and after she left he spent a week or so sulking, before he decided to leave to try and reestablish who he is to himself. Find himself. A mid-20's crisis, if you will. He kept in touch with much of the team while he travelled Europe, but didn't tell anyone he was on his way back.
The man starts up the drive, humming a bit to himself.
- Rogue has posed:
Rogue was on the front steps of the school now leading up to the front doors. She'd paused to thumb-tab a text response to someone who'd just sent her one by after she hit the send button she heard the taxi's arrival and the door shut. ITs then that the young X-Men brawler looks up to see another X-Men brawler and she just smiles big and raises her right gloved hand to wave it in his direction.
"Pete!" She says to him all happily. She walks back down the few steps she'd gone up and she moves to intercept him. "Look at you!" She says once she rounds her car and gets a better gaze of him. "Lookin' all muscley and hunky!" She's in good spirits though, giving him a little tease with those words. "I need a hug!" She demands with her arms out for him.
- Colossus has posed:
He blinks and his humming stops when he hears the voice, and the big man chuckles softly. "Malen'kiy," he says, in his deep, rumbly voice. "Good to see you again." The word means 'little one', and he uses it for a lot of folks, really. But with some it carries more warmth in the tone, like with Rogue.
He leans down and wraps his arms about her slender waist, lifting her as if she weighed as much as a pocket full of quarters...even with the heavy c-bag over one shoulder. He gives a playful squeeze and then sets her down again.

Rogue had a few people around here she enjoyed more than the others and this was one of them, he was an honest and warm guy and she liked that plenty. 'There aren't enough like you around, Pete.' She had told him in the past. She laughs as he picks her up so easily and she doesn't even have to use her gravity defying flight power to make it any easier for him to do either! He's just that tough!
When she returns to the ground again she leaves her gloved hands on his forearms and then looks up at him. "So glad t'see ya! This place needs your kinda logic and reason around it again. Its been a bit crazy... not that that surprises ya, I'm sure." She knows a bit about what happened between Kitty and him, but not all of it.
She steps off to his side then to so that they can walk together toward the school now. "I just got back here myself last month. Several others have come back too... Kurt, Logan, even Kitty." She drops that last one because, well its true, and she figures he'd like to know that info for on reason or another.
- Colossus has posed:
The man chuckles a bit and shrugs his heavy shoulders. "If it wasn't crazy, I would need to check if you're Skrulls or something. Seems to go hand-in-hand with being us." His accent isn't as thick as it was years back, but it is still quite present. He brushes his fingers back through his dark hair, while his other hand adjusts the strap on his bag. "I trust my room is still there? The Professor was aware I intended to return to my position eventually..."
He walks alongside her into the mansion as he peers about. He tries not to show his wince when she mentions Kitty, but it's there. He's never been good at hiding his emotions. "Good to know. The family is mostly all together, then."
- Rogue has posed:
Rogue walks beside him and she looks over and up at him with a big smile on her dark red hued lips. "Your room should still be there. I haven't looked, ya know... they don't let me go into the men's hallways. They say I'm 'trouble'." She raises her gloved hands up to air-quote that part, clearly finding it objectionable, even if part of her entirely understands the ruling of restricting her access to where the men reside.
"When ya go in it though, just make sure you give it a good look over. Cause there's this... bouquet'a hell flowers thats been hauntin' the place for a long time now! God damn... freaks me out so much. Illyana keeps sayin' she's gonna deal with it, but people keep findin it anyway!"
With a heavy sigh, she stuffs her hands into her pockets only pulling one out again to open the doors with him to go inside. "Lotsa people around. Lotsa New Mutants doin' stuff too, so look out for them. Negasonic's gonna freak when she see's you're back. Ya know, as much as she's capable'a freakin' out over anything."
- Colossus has posed:
He laughs softly and nods. "She has more heart then she likes people to believe. But...you didn't hear that from me, da?" Piotr winks down at her and pauses at the bottom of the stairs leading up to both branches of the dorms. He turns back towards the redhead.
"I am happy to be back, and I will keep an eye out for the...flowers?" He sounds curious, but not unbelieving. You don't live this long as an X-Men and discount weird sounding things. "I really need to settle in, though. Long flight. Long...months." He sighs and shakes his head, before smiling easy again. "See you soon, though?"
- Rogue has posed:
Rogue grins at the bit about Ellie and she nods her head to it, silently agreeing. In regard to the flowers though, she just softly sighs. "You'll recognize them if ya ever see'em, trust me. I lose sleep over the memories..."
Once inside, Rogue stands there and looks to him. she nods once at him. "I understand entirely. Relax and... hey, its really good t'see ya." She says it in a way that sounds truly sincere. But then again she's only recently come back herself because she realized how much this place meant to her rather than the life she was living in NYC. She turns and heads in another direction, meeting up with a couple students who instantly start chatting her up.
