Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Rogue, Arsenal

Rogue has posed:
Music Center just so happens to be one of Rogue's favorite places in Salem Center, if not her favorite. She has friends here, friends near to her age, a little older, who like to have her around as well. They often all go out as a group to the movies and such, so its a pretty great place for her to come to hang out and have a good time when she's not working at the school near-by.

As of right now, Rogue is stepping out of her car and adjusting the black beanie cap ontop of her head, stuffing her car keys into her navy-peacoat's pocket and walking up toward the front door of the place to open it and step on inside. She's wearing some dark grey slacks and a green tshirt beneath her dark gray peacoat, some black boots and dark green gloves on her hands.

Arsenal has posed:
Roy Harper, a young man with short strawberry-blonde hair, approaches the door to the music center. He wears a simple black coat with a red shirt underneath and blue jeans. Boots are worn, simple as they are, and Roy already has his hand on the door when he notices Rogue.

She's cute.

In a gentlemanly manner, he opens the door for her. "Hi." is all he says in greeting.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue stops at the door as the guy approaches and moves to open it for her. She shows him a bright and friendly smile and gives him a light nod of her head. "Why thank ya." She says in her deep southern accent, before she strides into the store and then shifts back to look at him again. "Quite kind of ya, I mean, whatever happened t'such manners in this world any way?" She seems to be in good spirits as she reaches up to pull her hat off of her head now that she's inside, running her right gloved hand through her brown and white hair, the white bangs framing her face as she gives a look around athe store and waves at the two 'dudes' behind the counter, two of her friends.

Arsenal has posed:
Interesting hair, yet for some reason, it looks really stylish on her. Makes Roy kinda want to test and experiment with highlights.

"Your welcome." His accent is CLEARLY more Californian, if such an accent truly exists. "No idea really. Guys started being jerks and ladies started hating chivalry. It just depends on how you view the world." he smiles to her, before offering his hand for a handshake. "Roy Harper."

He introduces himself, and yes, he gives a little glance to the two guys she waves at.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue smiles at these words and she extends her right gloved hand to shake his. "Marie." She says. "And Miste'ah Harper, I do believe you got it figured out." She holds a grin for a second before she stuffs her wool hat into the pocket on the left side of her jacket and then she glances around the store again. "You here for musical instruments'n such? Most folks who come in here are, I come here quite a lot so I can point ya in the right direction'a the good stuff."

The two men at the counter are helping some customers, a mother buying some things for her two daughters who're being chatter boxes as they appear quite excited for what they're getting, two twin violins and some music books to go along with them.

Arsenal has posed:
The men's situation is noted, but not exactly strictly given careful attention. He keeps his eyes on Marie as she takes off her hat and stuffs it into her pocket, and he does chuckle softly. "Marie? Beautiful name. Where you from, Marie?" because...ah...you don't hear that strong of an accent that much upstate. "I can play the guitar, so I like to compare what I can do to whoever's up there. Ironically, I'm decent at country music." he winks.

"So..what are you here for then?" he asks curiously.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue takes a step over to the racks where someone had knocked down some of the products and she kneels down to pick it up and then stands up to put it all back properly, this is her friend's store after all, so she's willing to helpout where she can.

Once back to her full height she offers a sly smile toward Roy and she tilts her chin up a bit. "Mississippi." She tells him. "I'm a right and proper southern belle." She says with a bit of arrogance, but she's being playful, teasing and just being good humored about it.

She lowers her chin again, grins and motions for him to follow after her. "Guitars are this way, Mistah." She says as she walks toward one of the far aisles on the other side of the store. "I'm a pianist, myself. Ticklin' the ol' ivories, as they say."

Arsenal has posed:
Roy seems to smile as she already starts picking stuff up off the ground, and yes, he does take the time to...okay, first off, he's a guy! okay....check Rogue out. but, it's subtle, and not overtly obvious. Though people perhaps seeing the pair could detect it rather easily.

"Mississippi you say? Never been there, though always thought it might be fun. and a rather beautiful southern belle you are. What brings you all the way up here to New York?"

Then, he's lead to the guitars! He finds a nice classical one with a deep red hue towards the center. "OOooo...that ones nice.."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue grins at the man's compliment and she stands there beside the guitars, eyeing the one that he spots. "You're right. That is a nice one. Ovation is a good brand, far as I know. I see these getting bought a lot anyhow."

She looks back over at him and smiles softly. "A charmer, you are, huh?" She laughs lightly at his compliment. "I came up here t'go to private school, one thats just down the road from here. Then graduated and went to NYU for a year and a half... now I'm back here in Salem Center cause that privat eschool is offerin' college courses now and, well, it feels like home t'me now."

Arsenal has posed:
"I try to be, anyway." Roy smiles, implying that he's not particularly good at actually charming a lady. But, he strums a few strings of the guitar, picking at the strings in a rather smooth and serene manner, his eyes looking to Rogue. "Oh? Nice, nice. What kind of classes are you taking if you don't mind me asking?" he sets the guitar back, before moving to walk alongside her.

"You seem to be a charmer yourself. Not everyday you meet a nice lady like yourself."

Rogue has posed:
"Ce n'est pas tous les jours que vous rencontrez une femme comme moi, c'est exact." Rogue says then in response, her smokey voice turning into flawless French. And after she says it she cracks a small grin. "I'm trainin' t'be a French teacher." She then explains as she puts her eyes over onto some of the guitars. "Five hundred seems t'be the best deal." She reaches a gloved hand out and taps the price tag on one of the Ovation-brand guitars. "This one, the Cherry Wind." Her green eyes trace up then and back down. "I need t'learn how t'play one'a these somedays." She then says with a heavy sigh following after.

She glances over at him then. "You in a band or somethin'?"

Arsenal has posed:
Whoa, she speaks some good French.

"Wow, that sounded beautiful. No idea what you said." Roy laughs just a little bit, before he nods. "Wow, that's really cool. Why do you want to be a teacher?" he's just curious to learn more about Marie as a person. "500 dollars huh? I might take that then." he hums. her interest to play the guitar is noted. "I could teach you, if you want."

Oh yeah, he was in a band.

"I used to be part of a garage band as a kid. Did another band in my high school years. Wanted to be a rockstar, that kind of thing buuuut I took up archery instead."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue just showed a slight grin with her right hand going into the pocket of her peacoat to toy with her keys while her left was on the shelf beside her with the guitars. "I just came in here now t'pick up some new earbuds for my phone, I keep ripping the cables on'em, gettin' sick'a that." She says with a slight grin at him. "And I wanna be a teacher cause I just like the social aspects of it and watchin' people learn. French is my best skill, really, and I loved spendin' time with my mother when she taught it t'me. So I hope others will enjoy havin' me teach it to them."

She smiles for a second, glances back to the guitar and then back to him. "Yeah, maybe. Hell if I have any free time these days though. I'm a Teaching Assistant at the school now too. So there's my own homework, and helpin' kids with theirs." And the X-Men... she barely EVER has any free time these days.

"Rockstar Roy Harper... I can dig it." She says then with a light laugh. "Don't give up on them dreams!"

Arsenal has posed:
Roy is just smiling ear to ear at her. "No kidding huh? So, your mom was French then?" He asks curiously, but when she tells him that she does't have a whole lot of time, Roy chuckles. "Well, maybe we can make time huh?" his eyes look int ohers. "Hmm..I know a good set of earbuds if you want to lead the way. What kind do you usually get? those Apple ones suck." he chuckles.

"Rockstar Roy Harper..." he shakes his head. "Nah, those dreams were over with a while ago. But maybe we can dream together." he chuckles.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue holds a light smile then and moves to turn and walk toward where the earbuds and other accessories for devices are sold, its a couple aisles over. "Nah, my mother was from Mississippi also, she just had a love for Paris and she got t'go there and live for a few years during college before she moved back and met my dad." Rogue turns down that aisle then and she grins. "I try t'get whatever is cheapest cause I just keep breakin'em. Maybe thats the mistake I'm makin'." But then again, she also could rip a door off an armored truck like it was butter.

"These here." She points at a cheap off-brand set and then reaches out to pick one set up that is a neon green. She wiggles the package then. "I've ripped like eight'a these in the past year or so."

Arsenal has posed:
"Well, if you get them cheap, they're gonna be cheap." Roy just smiles then, and he nods. "that makes a good amount of sense. I've been to Paris only once....couldn't pick up the language. I did get to see some lovely tourist traps though."

He shrugs, before he grabs some of the Skullcandy brand line. "Here, try these. That should really help."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue grins lightly and she reaches out to accept the brand of earbuds that he picks out for her. She looks the package over, flips it around to look at the back and then nods her head. "Looks good t'me." She says, putting the others back on their peg. "I've been t'Paris once now myself, just for a week... It... it didn't go well. Bad stuff happened." She smiles lightly then before she feels her phone go off in her pocket.

Taking a second to pull the device out of her coat pocket she looks down at the message. "Ah... shoot. I gotta be somewhere." She looks back up at him. "Roy. Its been a pleasure." She smiles again and extends her hand toward him, its still gloved. "If you're ever around here again, I'd be happy t'hear more about your story and how much of a guitar god you are." She says with a continued grin.
