Synopsis: Jean-Paul and Morrigan meet at a subway station that's seen some murder recently.
Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Azrael

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
The news the last few days has been full of fun things. If you think finding a decapitated woman on the subway platform is anyones idea of fun. That's what Morrigan is doing down here this evening. Looking around where they had found the body. There's yellow police tape over a few places and the tape for the body outline can still be seen in the grit from the people that had walked over the same spot this afternoon. The womans bright violet gaze is wary as she stands there for the moment.

Azrael has posed:
A man appearing to be in his mid-20s comes down to the platform. Eyes ar slightly wide, as if he's been up all night, but the Gotham U sweatshirt and jeans are not too remarkable, even in Manhattan. Fingers move corded beads as he talks quietly. "...et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris..." He's almost to the taped area when he notices it and stops suddenly, blinking and clearing his head for a second. "Lord," he says, "look on the soul of Your departed servant with mercy, I pray." As he speaks, he makes the sign of the cross, and then looks at the red-haired lady. "I am sorry for interrupting. Please excuse me."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to the man that appears and there's a nod of her head in greeting to him. Though his words make her quirk an eyebrow, "Latin, that's lovely." she tells him. Then there's a shake of her head, "Nothing that your doing is interrupting. I just wanted to check this place out. See if there was any weirdness besides the ladies head missing." she frowns. Then she looks back to the spot on the ground, "Doesn't look like there was any blood that spilled." she admits. Which for having your head cut off there should have been some.

Azrael has posed:
"Thank you. I find it more...soothing than English for prayer," Jean-Paul replies. At the remark about blood, there might be reasons like..."Was the wound cauterized? Or was she exsanguinated before?" He shakes his head, "Morbid thoughts, and I apologise, Mlle." Despite the American college look, he gives a courteous, slight bow. "I am Jean-Paul Valley. May I know your name?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Prayers always sound better in Latin. Or well, Catholic mass wouldn't sound nearly as beautiful in English." Morrigan tells him with a smile. "I don't have any idea about that. Sadly. But it's not the only exsanguinated victim that's popped up." she frowns to that. Then there's a smile to him, "It's nice to meet you, Jean-Paul. I'm Doctor Morrigan MacIntyre." she offers. "Were you heading home from class or to class?" she asks him as she points to his shirt.

Azrael has posed:
"Possibly true, but it is the intent more than the form of the mass that matters. Fortunately." He blinks, "I was...a late night. Going home." He frwns and looks intently over her shoulder at...nothing at all. "No," he hisses. "You shall not have her."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a smile, "Good old college days. I miss mine sometimes." she admits. Then she touches the wall where something was hit, "I'm sure I know what did this. But I can't really tell the police about it without looking insane." she murmurs. Then she gives a look over her shoulder quickly as he hisses and jumps. Is anything standing there? No. Was she afraid she couldn't see it? Yes!

Azrael has posed:
Jean-Paul Valley 's teeth are bared, a fierce expression on his face, and he steps towards an empty space on the platform and punches the air, sharp and precisely, and then he starts to laugh. "Yes, run. You always do...." And then he relaxes, almsot drained as he turns back to the lady. "Better," he says with satisfaction. "So...what do you think did this, then? A vampire or other demon certainly could."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan steps to the side and puts herself up against the wall as she watches Jean-Paul punch the air. "Is...was there something there?" she asks him as she looks to the place. She gives a look between them for a moment and then there's a bit of a sobering look, "I...I do think a vampire did it." she admits quietly. "One that I don't know what he looks like or his name." she frowns. "So not much I can do on it." she tells him.

Azrael has posed:
Jean-Paul Valley sighs. "Images? Ghosts? A demon or devil of hell to torment me? Who can say," he says. "As for this..." He ponders, "I would then look at the weaknesses of vampires, and have things for them on hand. If you follow Mr. Stoker's book, a crucifix or rosary will be potent, garlic somewhat less so. An actual pyx or blessed water most of all, but only if the ordinary hallows that use for them, lest they become deconsecrated."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"You see things?" Morrigan asks him quietly as she steps away from the wall. "That's not a bad thing sometimes." she holds up her hands a little. Just to ward off any angst that might come up. Then there's an amused look at the vampire talk, "Yeah, hopefully all that will work against this one." she states to that. "I'm a bit tired of Vampires." she admits.

Azrael has posed:
Jean-Paul Valley nods. "Sometimes," he says with a wry smile. "Who isn't? Sure there is /Twilight/ but before that, Anne Rice's books were just as..." He shakes his head. "I would be happy were all vampires truly dead. But I am afraid I must away..."
