Colossus has posed:
It's a pretty average afternoon at the mansion, really. The snow is gone, or close to it, and the green is beginning to show through the windows. Piotr is inside, however, for once. Having finished teaching art class for the day, the big man makes his way into the rec room. The place hasn't begun to get crowded yet, so he manages to find a comfortable place on one of the couches. He sits back, letting out a soft sigh as he enjoys a brief moment of respite.

Jubilee has posed:
Making her way into the rec room is Jubilee, who has on a rather boring outfit that consists of jeans and a red blouse. While she is on the clock, she leaves the more eccentric wardrobe at home. "Hey, Petey." She calls over as she heads for the mini-fridge to snag herself an energy drink. She cracks the tab and takes a sip from it, then turns about to face him. "You look tired. Teaching kids how to draw stick figures an exhausting thing or something?"

Colossus has posed:
He chuckles a bit. "It's more then that, and you know it. Could you get me a bottle of water, please?" He brushes his fingers back through his dark hair and glances about the room for a long moment. "How are things?," he asks after a moment, glancing back over at her.

Jubilee has posed:
Turning to open the fridge, Jubilee sneaks out a bottle of water, then lobs it over in his direction. "Things are okay, you know, all things considered. Kids are kids, people still wanna hurt us and now they're using big robots. Uh ... that's about it." Taking a long chug of her energy drink, she hums around the rim of it. "What about you? You settling in okay now that you're back?"

Colossus has posed:
Colossus reaches out and catches the bottle with skill. He then takes the top of the bottle off and takes a long sip. "Thanks, Jubilee." He nods a bit to her explanation and sets the bottle on his knee, peering down at it idly as he considers. "I am okay. Honestly, a bit lonely, but...that is nobody's fault but mine. I am enjoying teaching again, though. That is good."

Jubilee has posed:
"How are you lonely when you're surrounded by allll of these kids and your friends?" Jubilee asks with a laugh. "You can't go two feet without bumping into someone here and getting snot on yourself." Freaking Booger Boy. The bane of her week. "If you need some one on one time, you can take over my role for a bit and I can teach paint by numbers, and you can listen to everyone whine about how so and so is dating so and so and how it makes them feel."

Colossus has posed:
The big man chuckles softly and shakes his head. "I am surrounded by amazing and fantastic people, but it is not what I meant. Forget I said anything." He brings the water to his lips again for a long sip, before he glances back over at her. "Anything interesting beyond the...violent things?"

Jubilee has posed:
"Peeeetey, come on man, don't make me be a counselor on my off time and start poking at you to 'open up' and 'tell your feelings' so that you won't suppress them." Jubilee says as she folds her arms over her chest. "So, what kinda lonely is this?"

Colossus has posed:
Colossus chuckles. "I don't want to make you do your job off-duty, Jubilee. Just enjoy your...soda pop or whatever that is." He sips his water again, and the giant of a man rises to his feet, spending a brief moment stretching languidly. He taps the ceiling with a small, sleepless yawn.

Jubilee has posed:
"It's a Nuke-Cola. It's like five coffees." Jubilee says as she takes another sip. "But fiiiine, if you don't wanna tell me, it's cool." She gives a glance out to the hallway. "I think I'm gonna pick up a pair of old school roller blades and give them a run. Those looked like fun on the vids. I kinda wanna do some type of outdoorsy thing that is fun."
