Skate Or Die
Date of Scene: 14 April 2019
Location: Skate Park - Westchester NY
Synopsis: Rogue, Carrie and Blink hit a skatepark together.
Cast of Characters: Rogue, Blink, Carrie Kelley

Rogue has posed:
This skatepark had originally been made to give the kids of Salem Center a place that wasn't in the middle of main street, or on the court house front plaza area. A good city is a city that gives its children something to do when they actually want to be outside and not inside on some kind of 'device' leaving hateful comments on Youtube or whatever it is kids do online.

It was also, one of the original places Rogue found when she'd come to live in this part of the country, after Professor Xavier had sent Cyclops and Storm to recover the young Rogue from a bar fight in an Alberta Canada roadside saloon.

Rogue spent quite a bit of time here, making friends and learning how to skate herself. Her flight powers certainly made that a lot easier of a skill to learn too, and having a skateboard let her get around using that power, while keeping her feet planted to the board... it was a good way around before she'd gotten a car.

Here and now? Rogue has come to stroll the park and wander by this part of it to see who was here, if she'd recognize anyone.

Blink has posed:
Blink had heard about the park from the woman whom she'd taken to the beach. Many of the activities that kids undertake growing up were things that Clarice had never been exposed to. The acrobatic young woman was intrigued by skateboarding and rollerblading though. Especially after having seen on TV the acrobatics that people perform with them.

And so she ends up at the skate park, having bought a skateboard. And kneepads, a helmet and wrist guards. She'd also called up that really nice girl from the Gotham University theater, having wanted to have a good excuse to get together with her. So this was meant to be it.

Clarice told Carrie she'd be out here. At present she's just rolling across the level ground on a skateboard, getting used to the feel of it. Her exquisite, so just riding it isn't a problem. She starts leaning first to one side, and then the other, trying to get used to steering it. A foot presses on the back little ramp part, kicking the front wheels off the ground and causing her to fall off, running forward from her momentum before she stops herself.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
A day off was much needed for Carrie at this point in time. When Blink gives her a call she's more than happy to take the chance to get out of Gotham for a day. There was enough going on there right now she needed a break, but not so much that she was required to be there all the time. Perfect for an outing. With the sun shining, and the weather slightly warmer than usual, it even meant she could wear a comfortable t-shirt along with a pair of shorts made from cut off jeans. Not TOO short though. She had morals.

Slowly jogging from where she'd parked into the park proper her eyes scan around trying to catch sight of where her friend was. Just in time to see her attempt at skate boarding with a wince. Her arm shoots in the air to wave as soon as Clarice doesn't face-plant, and she calls out, "Clarice! Hey!" in greeting. Rogue wasn't spotted JUST yet, but she wasn't expecting to run into her either. Either way, she was pretty easily noticed as she heads toward the skate ramps.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue had encouraged Blink to wear the padding because this recreational activity was pretty brutal on people who didn't have the kinda durability that she has. She's had parents scold her out here because they saw the girl with the two-toned hair riding around on her skateboard without even a helmet on. That usually just entertains her a bit and gives her a chance to tell a parent to mind their own business, which always make them super hot under the collar. Of course, she's not a kid anymore, she's not even a teenager anymore...

Still though, Rogue's not wearing any safety gear. She does have her board slung by its front wheels on the strap of a canvas messgener back around her body though. "See, since you're new, you're not gonna wanna do what they're doing." She says, pointing to the older kids who're flying around inside a half pipe. Three of them total, one of them wipes out but its not bad, he just ends up sliding on his knees with his board flying past him.

When Carrie arrives, Rogue turns around and glances around the corner of the fence to spy her. "Oh, hey, I recoganize youuuuu." She says with a big and mischievous grin. "Whats goin' on? You searchin' for Kitty, or just followin' me?" She says it in that sassy and openly flirtatious way that she likes to talk to folks.

Blink has posed:
Blink grins over to Rogue at the warning, but disagrees with it partially as she looks over to the three kids on the half-pipe. "I contrary, I /want/ to do what they're doing," Clarice says with a warm laugh. "I'm probably just not capable of it," she concludes, giving Rogue a grin.

The arrival of Carrie draws a friendly smile, as Clarice pushes the board to roll it towards the redhead while she herself runs over, purple hair bobbing with the movement. "There you are!" she says with a big smile. Clarice turns towards Rogue as the Southerner greets Carrie as well. "Oh, do you know Carrie? I asked her if she wanted to come," Clarice says, her smile growing to find out the two women are already acquainted.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley blinks in surprise when the other woman turns to reveal herself completely. It draws a laugh from her as she slowly shakes her head in denial of following Rogue. "Hardly. Just a coincidence, Anna-Marie." It was the only name she knew her by! "Good to see you again... And you too, Clarice. Thanks for inviting me out. I've been bored stiff lately with it being Spring Break and all."

"Yeah, we've met. I'm friends with her friend, Kitty," Carrie admits to Clarice with a warm grin as she shoves her hands into her pockets. "Just keep bumping into each other!"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue grins at the both of them as she watches Clarice go to engage Carrie. She walks over to them both then and holds her hands on the strap of that bag around her torso. "I'm the Batman of Salem Center, or Batwoman, I guess... Is there a Batwoman?" She tilts her head gently to the side. "Are they married? Do they hang upside down as they-- ya know what, never mind."

Rogue motions out toward the skatepark, its quite a nice place with a lot of different skill level zones for people to enjoy. It doesn't have that many kids on it right now, because its 2027 and most kids are fat and stay inside all day. Its just how things are.

"You a skater of any variety... Carrie, right?" She asks then, Kitty had talked about her, so the name had stuck... mainly because its her Aunt's name too, the Aunt she'd been sent to live with after her parents had vanished. The aunt she'd run away from because she felt her rules were too oppressive and, well, she'd had a lot of emotional issues back then.

Blink has posed:
Blink has a warm smile for Carrie, the irises that are a solid green in a way that human eyes normally are not, flashing a happy look over to the redhead. "I was worried it would be too long of a trip all the way up here. I really should have arranged for you to go somewhere I could teleport you. Next time I will," Clarice promises.

"Oh, nice, then! I hadn't realized you knew anyone around here," Clarice says. She's not sure who this Kitty person is either, but then it's a big school and this Kitty might not even be at the school. Probably hangs out in Gotham with some delinquent or something.

Clarice gives a soft laugh at the the Batman talk. "He seems kind of spooky to me. Though I think there is a Batwoman, I saw some mention of her in the paper. Something about explosives and The Riddler I think?"

Blink looks over at the skate park and tells Carrie, "This is my first time on the skateboard. If you don't have one and want to try it, just let me know," she says. "And we can swap the protective gear." She puts a foot on it then and pushes off, coasting across the ground and balancing well. She turns it in a full circle, coming back, and using her foot to pick up a little more speed.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley lifts an eyebrow rather high as the topic turns to Batman of all things. The redhead shifts her weight from one foot to the other with a sideways tilt of her head as she seems only vaguely interested in it. "There's a Batwoman," she agrees with a nod toward Clarice's remark. "There's a bunch of vigilantes in Gotham actually. Robin, Red Robin, then Nightwing over in Bludhaven. There's some others too I think?" Her hands spread with a helpless shrug. "Hard to keep up. Sometimes I get bummed out watching the news so I just read summaries online to stay up on current events. Makes it easier with school, too."

One hand drops back down to her side while the other lifts up to rub idly at her shoulder. "Can't say as I do. I mean I've gone roller skating a time or two, but never skateboarded. I usually run. I got into city-running awhile back. Parkour," she explains to the pair. "Easy and cheap to do since it doesn't require gear." Glancing at Clarice's own getup she adds, "But I'd be willing to give it a go after watching for awhile."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue had mentioned Batman because she knew Carrie was from Gotham, its pretty much all she knows about Gotham in fact. Though she didn't stop the Catwoman from stealing something from a museum... but she only did it to impress Tony Stark, admittedly, its what cemented her getting on to the Avengers roster at the time!

Rogue looks between the two of them, just grinning like she knows something that they don't. She sweeps her board up off of her hip bag and displays it proudly, its got a cartoon drawing of ALF on the bottom of it, surrounded by wild colors of the rainbow and a caption that has ALF shouting out (Point me to the Cats!). She'd bought it one day at a skate store in Manhattan, she'd been flirting with the store clerk and he'd made an inendo joke about the board's 'true meaning' ... but anyway, it was just another normal day for Rogue.

"Ya'll can use mine if ya dare too." She adds then. "Nice thing about skateboardin' compared to skates, is ya don't gotta be stuck wearin' the damn things. Ya can just hop right off and not have wheels attached to your GD feet." Yeah, she sayd Gee Dee instead of the curse word associated with those two letters.

Rogue then glances back to Carrie. "There's a vigilante in Gotham named after a hamburger restaurant?" She asks, referring to Red Robin, of course. "I suppose I can dig that..."

Blink has posed:
Blink does exactly what Rogue said she should do. She lets herself roll on until she reaches one of the sides of the park where the concrete makes a graceful, smooth curve upwards.

The purple-haired mutant's natural agility is on display as she rides it successfully upwards. But lack of experience is telling. As it rolls back down, she doesn't shift her weight in time. Soon her feet are off to the side instead of beneath her, which just propels the skateboard away from Clarice all the faster. It shoots off and she lands on the ground on her hip. A beautifully spectacular amateur move.

"Ooooowww..." she groans as she rolls over to a sitting position, feed splayed out before her. "The good thing about rollerblades? They don't leave your feet like that," she says, laughing even as she rubs at her sore ass cheek and hip as she counter's Rogue's good point about the skateboard.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley lets out a low, slow whistle at the sight of ALF on a board. "Now that's some old school stuff right there. I used to watch reruns when I was a kid." Even when she was a kid it was old. Still it was a favorite show of hers at the time. Along with Inspector Gadget, and Where In The World is Carmen Sandiego the remake. "I might give it a try but... Maybe."

Even as she considers it, poor Clarice wipes out causing her to wince. Without hesitating she jogs over toward her to offer out a hand to help her back to her feet. "You okay? Looked like you landed wrong." She leans down to better try to help Clarice up, but when she does the edge of her t-shirt rides up a bit revealing a deep purpling bruise on her own back. And she hadn't even tried skating yet!

Rogue has posed:
Rogue glances down to her board at Carrie's remarks toward it. She flashes her a grin. "I didn't even know what it was till I bought it and then looked it up on Youtube. They made some weird ass shows back in the day... I kinda wish they still did. Not that I'd watch it any how, I got trouble sittin' still for long enough t'get through anything longer than a few minutes." She gets real antsy about that, having been raised on a hippie commune to the age of 6 and then her Aunt's place where 'TV time' was something she never was able to 'earn' due to lack of good behavior in the house.

When Clarice totally does wipe out though, Rogue's eyes had been on her watching her the whole time. She too winces and strides over the help her up if she needs it. "Ya okay?" She asks. "We neglected t'buy ya butt pads, girl." Rogue says with a tiny grin. "I'm tellin' ya, ya need t'get used t'just goin' back and forth first, then work in some turns... start small, don't go for the moon yet, Armstrong!"

Blink has posed:
Blink's pride seems more hurt than her body, though she accepts the help up from the two women. She winces only a little as she tests her weight, a hand going to rub her backside. "I want to do the tricks though," Clarice complains, looking over at an eight year old whose skill outstrips that of Clarice by a country mile. "That's where the fun is at. Maybe I should have went with the skates." She would do far better on them, probably. "I thought this would be more like surfing though, which I've done."

Clarice couldn't see the bruise on Carrie at first, seeing as she sitting down with Carrie facing her. She catches a glimpse of it as her shirt is sliding back down though. "Wow, looks like you took a spill too, Carrie," Clarice mentions of the black and blue area.

Clarice finally catches up on what the other two women were talking about. She looks at the Alf image with open curiosity. "So it's a TV show then?" she asks to be sure. "I don't think I've seen it. I've only see a few things. Mostly newer stuff."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"It takes time and practice just like anything. I'm sure they've had their share of spills as well. I know I fell plenty of times while learning to rollerskate." Just as it seems Carrie might say more, the notice of her own bruise causes her hand to jerk back to tug her shirt back in place. "Ah, yeah. Slipped on the stage steps after they polished the wood before break. Kinda stupid of me."

She steps back after helping the other woman to her feet with Rogue's help. "Yeah, it's an older show. I watched a lot of TV when I was a kid. My parents weren't around much so it was better than being in a quiet apartment alone." As suddenly as she says it, she changes topic to what Blink had been saying. "I don't know, in surfing the entire surface you're moving on is ... well, moving. This is just you on the unmoving ground. Got to be different enough I'd think." Glancing over at Rogue she flashes a grin. "So are you going to show us newbs how it's done?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue drops her ALF board down on the ground and then hops up onto it. Once on it she takes off that messenger bag that was strapped about her body and she tosses it over onto a black painted bench beside the half pipe. "Don't go shoutin' around here that ya wanna do tricks, Clarice." She advises with a grin. "Some'a the older kids will start comin' at ya with wads'a cash in their hands." She's teasing of course, in that way she does, and without even using a foot to push off of the ground for momentum, Rogue glides past both ot them on her board. She's cheating of course.

"We can go get ya some skates if you'd rather have them!" She says as she passes by Clarice, she then crouches a little and *whaps!* her on the backside where she'd landed moments ago with a gloved left hand, it likely stings more than a little bit, but she's doing it just to be fun, or so SHE THINKS anyway!

With a sinister laugh, the girl with the brown and white hair rolls out onto the half cylinder and starts to go back and forth to gain some momentum, it doesn't take her long before she's scaling up it to the top and then coming back down with gravity as her ally, her knees bending and keeping her body moving gracefully to stay on the board.

She's good, but she's cheated to get this far.

Blink has posed:
Blink is in good spirits after the fall, though she gets a confused look, the not-street-savvy young woman not seeming to have picked up on the innuendo in Rogue's comment. Not at first anyway, and any revelation that might have come with time is dashed by the swat to her backside!

Clarice gives a little yelp. It hurts but not that bad, enough for Clarice to laugh and flash a 'gonna get you' look playfully at Rogue as she goes off on her board. "Ooo! See, now that's what I want to do," Clarice says of what Rogue does on the half pipe. "Though my feet won't stay on the skateboard."

As Rogue clears the pipe, Clarice makes a go at it. But not with her skateboard. She just runs full tilt up the pipe and as she reaches the top, she does a back flip with a twist off the top rail, landing her feet back on the near-vertical surface and running back down it to the bottom. "See? I just need the board to stick to my feet better!" the purple-haired mutant says with a laugh.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley gives a short bark of a laugh that she stifles quickly by coughing into her fist at Rogue's remark. Tricks indeed. Then she watches when Rogue gets on her own skateboard to show off her moves. "See, that's what you get with practice." Grinning she watches as Clarice runs off to traverse the turnpike on her feet, showing off her own skill and ability without the board.

Of course that does leave Carrie standing by the abandoned skateboard. Her gaze turns down to it curiously, and she lifts a foot to rest on it. Rolling it forward, and back a few times with her other foot moored solid on the ground she seems to be considering something. Not like surfing... Would it be like anything she was familiar with? A shrug is given more to herself than anyone. Shifting her weight to the foot on the board she pushes off just... coasting toward the other two. Nothing more.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue was up on the far side stand above the half pipe when Clarice made her run and flip up it. She saw it and was off her board, which lead to some nice gloved clapping and cheering for Blink's acrobatic performance skills. There's a couple of older teenage boys up there too and they're walking over to chat it up with Rogue who's looking over at them now, quiet remarks about who they are and such being answered from the boy's questions to the southern belle. Its not every day that three hot girls just wander into their park like this!

Rogue looks back down to see Carrie on the board now and she's grinning. "Don't you fall now!" She shouts down from atop the eastern side of the half pipe. "We're not even supposed t'be on this thing without pads on!" Which Rogue isn't wearing any, but yeah. She also points at the sign posted beside the half pipe. "That sign says so!" She indicates, almost like she's mocking the rules though--which of course anyone who knows her knows she definitely is.

Blink has posed:
Clarice does have pads on. Helmet and knee, elbow and wrist pads, though no sign of a skateboard as she just appears to be on her feet at the bottom of a half-pipe at the moment. Though Carrie is coasting on a sparkly, purple board that looks like exactly the kind of skateboard that Clarice would buy.

"I can give you the helmet and pads if you want, Carrie?" the Genoshan girl calls over to the redhead. Blink watches as the other woman makes her progress across the flat area. As she does, an older teenaged boy who is tearing it up out there goes flying across the pavement on his board. He's oggling Anna-Marie and not watching where he's going, heading right towards Clarice's back.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley looks up from her coasting only to chuckle. "I managed to stay on at least so I'll take that as a win," she offers back as she hops off. The skateboard is still rolling and she moves to dip down and grab it... Just when her eyes alight on the boy skating right toward Clarice. Without thinking about it the skateboard is scooped up in hand, grasped by the edge. Turning a single time she whirls herself in a tight twirl to *fling* the board out at the kid to try and knock him to the side. It would be a safer fall for both of them if he did.

"Clarice...!" She calls out in warning mid-throw along with a quick, "Heads up!"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is still chatting with the two guys, who appear to be Highschool Seniors in age, up on the top side shelf of the pipe when the commotion happens down below. She looks over and down at it and raises her left hand up to stroke her white and brown hair out of her face that is being blown about in the cool spring air all around them up there. She says one final thing to the two boys before she drops her board0--and herself-- down the pipe and she rides down toward the others, not intending for any tricks, just moving to check on them both!

Blink has posed:
The board goes sailing towards the teenaged body, whacking him in the side and sending him off-balance. Skateboards hurt! It isn't enough to change the direction he's traveling, though the warning to Clarice is enough to cause the young woman to suddenly somersault to the side, coming up in a fighting stance as she hears the sudden warning and sees the board flung.

The teenaged boy's balance wavers for two seconds before he loses it, and like Clarice earlier, his feet shoot out from under him, sending his board sailing forward. He falls towards the ground, Clarice diving to get her arms under him and save him from a rougher landing on the pavement. She ends up holding the rather cute boy in her arms. "Oh, hello," she says, shining a smile at him.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley jogs over to Clarice, the boy, and Rogue who was quick approaching to check on them. They'd crossed more distance than she had but she gets there without being too out of breath in the process. "Sorry about that, looked like it would have been a bad crash. You okay?" Frowning with concern her eyes dart over the boy now in Clarice's arms before turning her attention to Rogue with a shrug and a quiet, "Sorry." Not that she really had any reason to be. Right?

Rogue has posed:
Rogue does a full circle around Clarice and the boy after she'd caught him, then slows herself and steps off her board, uses her right foot to kick it up into the air and then she catches it in her gloved hands. About that time Carrie jogs up and she finds at least the southern belle grinning all happily at all of this. She clutches her board against her stomach with her forearms crossed over its smooth ALF-adorned belly.

"I just diiiied in your arms t'night." Rogue softly sings as she stares at Clarice and this mysterious boy. Where'd all the people Marie knew who used to hang out here? Did they all graduate and move on?! Sigh. Aging.

Blink has posed:
Clarice has a bit of a shy smile going. The boy is rubbing his side where the board hit him. Though he's sitting on the ground now, Clarice's arms are still around him and he can definitely feel the girl's... er... girls... against his torso. So that seems to be enough to distract him from complaining too much about getting the board thrown at him.

"Hey, sorry about that, didn't see you. And... nice catch. Wow, you got pretty eyes," he tells Clarice. Which just makes Clarice blush a bit and smile shyly as she lets go of him and pulls back enough to end the aforementioned bodily contact. "It's ok. Glad I was able to catch you," she says bashfully. Clarice glances up at Rogue singing, and that just makes her cheeks break out in a full-fledged blush. "Anna-Marie!" Blink says, laughing. She looks over to Carrie too. "Thanks for the heads up," she says, as the boy stands up. He looks about 18 or so. The boys who were talking to Rogue roll over as well, not wanting to let the other boy bet he only one to converse with the skater babes.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"Ohmygod I thought Dick was bad," Carrie mutters with a hand going over her face. The song being sung by Anna-Marie just gets a groan before she disolves into giggles over the entire situation. Including the guy flirting with Clarice. Her hand drops away leaving her smiling and slightly red-faced from the laughter. Ah, the bane of pale skin. "Guess he is kinda cute," she has to admit. Looking toward the other approaching skaters she raises her eyebrows.

"Is it really that weird to have women around here? Huh. Maybe I should take this up after all." Ehem. Shaking her head she grins toward Blink, "No problem. Glad it turned out okay. Sorry about that, just... first thing I could think of."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue continues to hold her board up against her body as she watches Clarice and the kid who literally just fell in love in her arms. She's wise enough to know how that looks, and she can see it all over the boy's expression. "You should see what she can do with her hands." Rogue says then to the boy, just to mess with him, and in actuality she's referring to Blink's portal powers... but hey, this is more fun to be vague like that in this moment.

Slowly Rogue walks back to stand next to Carrie and she grins at her. "Why do you think I hung out here? It was like ninety five percent boys, and most've were pretty easy on the eyes too." With a look back to Clarice she asks the other. "You wanna go get some skates instead? Or ya want us to leave you two alone for a bit?" Endless teasing from the southern gal!

Blink has posed:
The boy introduces himself to Clarice, and she back to him. "Clarice, that's a beautiful name," the teen lies. Because, come on. Clarice? Really? But it's still a sweet thing to say. "Sometimes I go by... Claire," she says. Rather than giving the mutant name.

Though it's pretty from her eyes. "You're a mutant?" one of the other boys says as he rolls up on his skateboard. Clarice tightens up just a little bit, glancing over at Rogue and Clarice before she nods her head.

"Wow, wicked!" the boy exclaims. "Do you have powers and everything then?" Clarice lets out a breath she was holding. "Yeah, I do actually," she tells him. She picks up his skateboard and then motions with her hand. A little bolt of magenta opening up into a purple-rimmed portal, the other end opening up just a few feet away. She rolls the skateboard away from her through the portal, and it comes out of the destination, rolling back towards Clarice and the boy whose board it is. Then Blink steps through the port and pops out the other one.

"Holy shit that's awesome!" they exclaim. The boys look over to Carrie and Rogue. "What about you two, what can you do?!"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley tenses herself for just a moment uncertain of how the guys would respond... But she gives Clarice a thumbs-up regardless. No matter their reaction she would be there to help one way or another. When they respond in a positive light she lets out a quiet breath she wasn't really aware she was holding. A slow grin spreads, her green eyes following the path of that portaled skateboard, and then back to watch the reaction of the others. It just earns more of a grin.

At least until they turn to ask what she and Rogue can do. Lifting her hands palms outward she gives a laugh. "Sorry guys, I got nothing."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue considered saying something to Blink about not show boating with her powers around here, or around any 'civilians' because thats what they taught her at Xavier's, that it was better for everyone if mutants didn't do that sort've thing... Clarice isn't really from Xavier's so she's not quite been indoctrinated into that kind of thinking. But she lets it slide, cause these guys seem pretty harmless.

Rogue just cracks a grin at the showbating in fact, and gives a glance over to Carrie before she looks back at them when they question others. She takes one hand off of her board and wiggles her gloved fingers at them. "I just suck the lives outta anyone who touches my skin. Nothin' much else." She says with a smirk. Her time with the Avengers was only a year and she wasn't really ever on the 'A Team' on the roster, so these kids clearly don't recognize her.

"Ya'll better be careful though, hangin' around mutants can be bad for your health'n all." Marie warns as she turns then to go walk to where she dropped her bag off.

Blink has posed:
The boys look at each other, as if trying to decide if Rogue was serious or not. They start laughing, apparently deciding that she's kidding. "Well, it's cool, and love your hair too," the teen that Clarice caught says to the Genoshan mutant.

"Thanks. This is my natural color," Clarice says with a soft smile. "So um, it was nice to meet you," she says, giving a little wave to the boys before turning to move over to Carrie and Rogue. "Ok, that was kind of fun," she says with a shy smile. She's definitely run into a lot of anti-mutant sentiment away from Genosha. This was probably a bright spot for her. "Thank you for looking out for me, Carrie," Blink says to the Gothamite. To Rogue, Blink says, "And you are really good on your skateboard, Rogue. I think I should probably try roller blades next time though."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley turns to move along with the other two once they've gathered up their stuff. Clarice's thanks earn a grin. "Not a problem. I'm glad everything turned out okay." Stuffing her hands into her pockets she glances up at the sky, and then muses, "It might be fun to come back here again. Maybe I'll pick up a board to try out, too. Or just skates. Either works."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue just laughs softly as she gathers up her bag and puts it back on over her shoulders and then pulls her hair out from beneath it to let it drape back behind her shoulders again. "We gotta just go back t'the School and get ya down with the basics before we come back t'this place. Its too much... inta the deep end, without ya even gettin' your swimmin' legs under ya." She says to Blink before she waves toward the boys. "Ya'll stay safe now." She says at them with a wink and a grin before she walks with the others, her eyes going over to Carrie.

"So lets stop by the skate store down the street and see if we can't pick out some different stuff. I'm buyin', ya'll see somethin' ya wanna get, then just throw it down and we'll go grab some food afterward too." Her car is just outside of the park as well, probably not that far from where Carrie would've parked no less.
