Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller has stopped into the diner here in Mutant Town. The big man walks in looking around for a moment, but more to see if anyone he might know than people watching. He will find a nice sturdy stool at the bar, and nod in greeting to the waitress. He orders a soda to drink while looking at the menu.

Nightcrawler has posed:
    Looking up from one of the side tables seeing a man who looks, for all intents and purposes, normal (well besides his gargantuan height) walk into the mutant town diner and settle in. Glowing gold eyes watching the big man for a few moments, head tilting to one side as he tries to determine what gifts may be hidden under the surface. "Guten auben Mein Friend" raising one hand in greeting.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller looks over as he is greeted, and says "Ok, Good Afternoon?" He will ask, as if pretty sure on Guten but Auben may have him a bit. He will smile and puts in a rather large food order, a couple burgers and fries and onion rings before turnning fully to talk "I am pretty good, and how are you?"

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner shrugs, "I am quite well, sir. Thank you." he offers a smile that is all pointed teeth and no malice. "I know this will sound like fighting phrases at first, but what brings you to Mutant Town?" hands folding around his coffee cup.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller smirks and says "Words are seldom enough to fight over, maybe when they are trying to press an agendea that others disagree with. " He will sip his drink and says "Mostly just passing through, but am checking prices on apartments.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner nods "There are some low cost here in M-Town, ja." He tilts his head the other way. "If there is any way I can assist will be happy to Mien Friend." sipping his own coffee. "Might I inquire if you're gifted? If you don't think me rude?"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller nods his head a bit and will reach into his pocket, and pull out a quarter. He will hold it it on edge between his thumb and forfinger. He will then squish it as easily as it it was mud. It does not seem to change the coin, just that much pressure. He will toss the quarter to Kurt to let him see it. It looks like sometihng Piotr could maybe do in steel form.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Tail slipping around, catching the mushed coin and flipping it to Kurt's hand. He blinks and stares at it before he nods, setting it down. "Lucky gift, at least once you'd gotten the knack of it I assume? I hope acclimating when it occured was not to traumatic?" head tilting, brow raising.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller shakes his head a bit and says "Na, It came on somewhat gradually. I aint been able to determine the maximum of it yet, but I did find out that 50 Tons aint it. Pretty much strong and somewhat hard to hurt. I try to help people when I can, but mnore often it is used to be a human forklift down at the docks.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner laughs again, "Well, it is always good to meet a fellow mutant who decides that their gifts can be used for aid and not personal gain." lifting his drink in toast. "My name is Kurt, by the way - a pleasure to meet you sir."

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller nods, and will nod hid head back and says "Joseph." He will chuckle and says "Yea the whole super vilian thing is more trouble than it is worth I think. I mean first you have the whole trying to keep who you are even more secretm trying to not let people know where the money coes from when your successfull. And then the whole trying to be successfull with having to fight superheroes, cops and what have you. Just does not seem worth it.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner blinks at the manner in which it is all laid out and hrmms. "New way of thinking about it I suppose." he chuckles, "When did you first express your mutation, Joseph?" motioning to the tender to have the man's drink refreshed - apparently having a tab or something.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller hmms, and says "To be honest not sure to be honest. I have always been stronger than normal, I mean when I was in elementry school, I could lift the front end of a car, didn't need a jack if I was around ya know?"

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner laughs "Well, I suppose that's still lucky. I take that's part of why you came out to mutant town then? I'm happy you did, the community can always use more good spirited hands around here, ja?"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller says, "Well, like I said figure might be able to get a decent deal on a place, and also, I have been reading a bit about the whole sentniels thing, and figured, Mutant town would be a prime target. I guess it would not hurt to much if a few more people were around who might be able to give them a bit of a pause."

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner beams at that, "Ja! That is the spirit! Stand together." Kurt's tail lashes excitedly at the notion. "There are those who have made a life of fighting these things though, so I would pray you not put yourself to too much risk, no?"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller shrugs a bit and says "Well, I got a bit to make up from where a guy was using me and some others to try to help his goals. We stopped him but still feel the need to pay some back. Plus if it is someone who can't defend themselves someone has to step up.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner's head comes up at that suddenly. "The fire? The big man that threw another." eyes keen on Joseph now, curiosity piqued to the point that his tail as stopped moving.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller 's brwo raises and says "Fire? No, I don't think I have been dealing with fires lately, and If I threw someone I would have to make sure thye pretty sturdy so I did not splat them. A guy tried forming a fake group of avengers in Europle.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner nods slightly, "Someone else I think then, I thought it safe to be sure though." the blue fuzzy mutant's brows knit together. "You said you were sturdy as well, ja?" frowning, "There have been a lot of troubles since the earthquake, strong and hard to hurt can help a lot with the relief work.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller nods, and says "Been doing what I can. I will admit, helpoing dig people out has made me consider trying to take a few classes on archtecture, or maybe some type of physics. I need to learn what I can move without bringing things crumbeling down on me, and paying attention to what can support me.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"Well, I know a place that could possibly help with part of your higher learning. I would need to run it past those operating it first. But I can put in a good word for you, and don't worry, we'll be able to find you as needed I am sure." Kurt smiles.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller says, "well, I am not sure, if I would be able to get into any real school, maybe a community college is about it. I graduated high school but was more concerned with working and such than school, and my grades showed it."

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner nods a little, "Well, we can certainly see, and if nothing else I can help point you to some assistance programs to help with getting you into higher learning. Just because you needed to work does not mean you should suffer for it Mein Friend."

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller nods his head a bit to this and says "Well aint so much would consider it suffering. I made the choice, was tring to make sure my sister would have had a better life than I did." A sadness passes over his features at mentioning his sister.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner's brows knit at that look. "Well, you should not be penalized for an act of love then..." lips pursing as he tries to think of how to salvage this now.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller changes the subject luckily "I have been working on finding things I enjoy doing and actually have an idea I might work on down the road, but for now, just happy to have found a job and leads on a long term place to crash.

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt Wagner nods "Well, while you are looking for a more permanent place" he pulls out a bit of paper and a pencil, using his tail to write and then stands to offer it to the man. "You can get a warm bed here, so you don't have to waste money on hotels or the like."

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller will take the paper, and look it over and seems to take a moment to get the adress in mind, but does keep the paper in hsi wallet if he needs to check it later.
