Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Rowan Saunders, Exile

Rowan Saunders has posed:
It's Rowan who suggests actually meeting at the dog park on a day off. He's in cargo shorts and a tank top, and Sonny is wearing a red bandana around his neck. He waddle jogs after a tennis ball Rowan throws for him. Rowan watches with tentative pride. Sonny is slimming down a little. These excursions aren't for naught. "It's not entirely professional of me to invite you out during private time, but I figure as a consultant, my clients are probably going to get reassigned soon enough."

Exile has posed:
"It's all right," Buck says. He's got a flesh-colored sleeve over the arm, concealing the bare metal. "I'm booked with the new lady you suggested, Lahiri. She seems okay," Lili, for her part, is rolling around like a maniac on the stunted grass, tongue flopped out.

Rowan Saunders has posed:
"That means we can be friends, you know," Rowan says. "If you want to be." Sonny brings the ball back and wags his tail eagerly. When Rowan reaches for it, the dog turns its head away. No take, only throw. "Come on, Sonny, don't be that way." He manages to wrest the slobbery ball from the dog's mouth, and he tosses it again. Sonny huffs after it.

Exile has posed:
That has Buck looking at him, in bemusement. "....I thought we already kinna were," he says, gently. "But yeah, like you say, the professional stuff.....well, I'm someone else's patient now so, sure. Let me know if I can help with you getting settled in as an agent. Not that I got all that much experience myself, really."

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Rowan grins. "Good. That we're friends." Out on the grass, Sonny has waddled up to Lili with his ball, and he flops down beside her to roll on his back, slobbering and grunting. Rowan stands there, hands on his hips, and just shakes his head. "I'll definitely be leaning on you, at least a little bit. If that's what the director wants, that is. I still don't know what's on her mind."

Exile has posed:
She comes over and nibbles Sonny's belly, snuffling affectionately. "She sure likes him," Buck says, laughing. "I guess he's her comic relief buddy. She's so hyperaware, but she relaxes when she's around him."

He's holding his Cyclones cap in hand. "Sure. I can help you with the physical stuff, at the very least."

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Sonny huffs and rolls, grinning a doggy grin as he's snuffled. "He's a good boy," Rowan says. "He really likes her. He's just a lover. Perfect for relaxing around." He glances at Bucky then, and he grins. "Cool. I'll need help getting up to speed, I think. I mean I exercise and try to stay in good shape, but it's nothing like you guys do out there. My abilities don't rely on being buff, so much."

Exile has posed:
"I know. But the better shape you're in, the easier the rest of it is. Like we used to say - train hard, fight easy." With the reverse being the implication.

Now she's grooming him - more affectionate nibbles.

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Rowan nods and says, "You're absolutely right. Plus, with the gym right there at work, there's really no excuse not to work out. It's good for the mind as well as the body." He grins at Sonny, who has dropped the tennis ball and is now pawing idly at Lili, not trying to stop her. Out of the blue, Rowan asks, "You want to maybe get coffee sometime?"

Exile has posed:
"Sure," Buck says, easily. He doesn't know what that might be code for. "Though man, I'm tired of that Starbucks stuff, I gotta tell ya."

Lili, delighted, pounces on the ball and proceeds to flounce around, trying to taunt the butterball with it.

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Sonny rolls over, with some effort, and pulls himself to his feet. Then he trots after Lili, attempting to get his ball back. He growls playfully, because he's a fierce wolf, honest.

Rowan smiles and says, "Cool. We don't have to go to Starbucks. Let's go to a diner and get the kind of coffee that could strip paint. The kind of place where they scramble the eggs in bacon fat."

Exile has posed:
Now there's that quicksilver grin. "You speak my language," he congratulates the novice Agent. "I know there's still places like that around. I warn you, I eat like a horse."

Because God knows, that build requires copious protein.

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Rowan's grin is radiant, and there are dimples. "They're my guilty pleasure. There's a place I know in Brooklyn with breakfasts the size of your head, and they don't skimp on the breakfast meats. I have to run it off, but it's worth it."

Sonny nips at the tennis ball. Giiiiive it baaaack. He even tentatively capers.

Exile has posed:
Oh, no, it's mine now. Lili prances away, head up, chomping the ball. "Sounds great," he says, amiably. "Yeah. I mostly eat healthy here, but....sometimes I forget myself."

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Rowan laughs as Sonny wuffs at Lili and waddles after her. "Sorry, bud. You lost it fair and square." He glances to Bucky. "Life needs guilty pleasures. We eat all that kale so that, once in awhile, we can eat our body weight in bacon and maybe, if we feel like it, pie."

Exile has posed:
He's watching the dog play - there's that profile presented the psychologist. "Yeah," he says, quietly, smiling a little. "I guess it does. You should tell Steve that. I been tryin'a for decades, and it never sinks in. Maybe I'll sic you on Carter, too. She's English, so she believes in discipline even harder than Rogers does."

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Rowan glances at that profile and smiles to himself. "I could put out a memo, encouraging people to indulge once in awhile for their own mental health. There's nothing wrong with a little controlled chaos to keep things interesting." Sonny barks again and bounces around Lili. Ball. Ball!

Exile has posed:
"You try that. I'll enjoy watching you tilt at those windmills." No malice in his tone. Still toying idly with the cap he was wearing. Lili finally consents to drop the ball - even lets Sonny get close to it, before she goes for it.

Rowan Saunders has posed:
Rowan laughs softly. "It'll make it look like I'm doing something official, and it's worth a shot. But we'll lead by example and get breakfast." Sonny lunges for the ball, but alas, Lili is in better shape and gets to it first, which causes Sonny to bounce around and bark. Rowan says, "Sonny!" He has another tennis ball in his bag.
