Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy is sat at the desk in the front office and filling in paperwork, mostly parts orders as she's got her hair pulled back, she's filling it in neatly and efficiently, humming a song as she's looking bored. She's been planning a little something for a few hours though, get out of the city, reconnect with nature.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller came by to work on the bike he has been helping with. It gives him an excuse to come and check on Mercy to see how she is doing and also make sure she aint getting herself in trouble. He will walk in and has a pizza box with him today "I brought pizza, you hungry?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy perks up at the idea of pizza. "Sure" Mercy says as she smiles. "I was thinking though.....wait is that Angelo's over in Brooklyn?" she asks with a grin. "Sure, I'll join in eating pizza, though I was thinking" she says and sets her pencil down. "I was going to give my Vanagon a run out of town. Why not turn it into a camping trip?" Mercy asks and eyes the pizza box. "Okay, I'm curious. What's in there? Well....I know it's pizza but come on, what's in there aside from a pizza base?" she asks and looks hopeful it's something good.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller smiles and actually got it from one of the places a bit closer than Brooklyn wanting to make sure it was hot. He opens the box, and one half is supreme and the other meat lovers. "I know straight pepperoni is a classic, but I figured something with a bit more umfh." He will set it down between them and find a seat. "Where ya thinking about heading out to?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
^r"I was" Mercy says and eyes the pizza, snagging a supreme slice. Biting into it, Mercy sets it on the desk. "I was going to drive to the Catskills or the Adirondacks and camp out there for a few days" Mercy nods looking amused. "You know, drive near a town, find a spot to camp, and just camp" she says and chews on her pizza slice. "You know, reconnect with nature, and get out of the city" Mercy adds

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller hmms and nods his head a bit to this "Wanting me to look after the shop while your gone? " Not having caught on she wants him to come with her. He goes tot he soda machine and grabs them each a drink before sitting down with a piece of meat lovers "And if your wanting to get in touch with nature, why near a town?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy laughs, "Because I did the whole growing up in the hinterlands of Montana thing" Mercy says and nods, "Figurred if you wanted to come along, bring your bike and tag along" Mercy says taking a sip of her drink. "So" she nods. "what would it take for you to come off into the mountains with me, huh? Bring my rifle, my Vanagon and spend a weekend camping?" Mercy asks with a knowing smile. "See, that's what I've been thinking on, get back to nature"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller hmms, and says "Well, I think it might be able to happen I would have to put in word at the club I was taking the weekend off. Do you think there is enough room for both of us in the vanagon, I mean thins might have to be pretty up close and personal.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy shakes her head and smiles. "Not sure you'll fit in something that's..." she nods taking a sip of her drink, "Fifteen feet long,six feet wide Twinkie on wheels" Mercy says. "Put it this way. I can get it up to 60 going down the freeway. Downhill, good tailwind? It'll get to 70 or 75. Uphill? Lucky to hit 45 or 50" Mercy points out and shakes her head. "Look at it like this. You may be towing me up the hills" she says with a chuckle. "If you think you can fit in the Vanagon, though you'd have to lay down though and stay put" she says and nods. "Picture a Twinkie on wheels. That's what I camp in"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller chuckles a bit to her, and says "Well, sounds like we might need to sup it up some, but I could give it a try. Just want to make sure we good, you did threaten to shoot me over a netflix and chill joke." He grins at her

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy shakes her head, "Well, depends. I'm not sure you'll be able to sit up in the Vanagon, but why not bring a tent we can both stand up in?" she asks, her first pizza slice gone as she's eaten it, sipping her drink as she nods. "So how soon can you get a tent you can stand up in?" she asks with a nod, "I mean if you can fit it on your bike then there we go"

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller says, "I will have to do some checking might not be able to get one I can stand up straight might have to be more I am stooped over in it."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods with a laugh, "Well then. I'll make sure the Vanagon works then. But" Mercy adds with a nod. "Gotta get that Pulse guy's bike fixed" she adds and nods. "Though" she adds leading the way to her living space. "Don't get excited, I'm just finding a spot for the pizza" she nods with a grin.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller chuckles and will walk with her, He is looking through some things on his phone "A few might work, but most seem a bit big for carrying on the bike, unless we go with a teepee type

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods to the kitchen. "Alright, pizza goes in there, then back to the garage, let's get Pulse's bike fixed up then figure out camping arrangements" Mercy offers, looking amused as she sets the drinks in the fridge and heading back to her garage. "It's not the most amazing living space, but it's perfectly good for me" Mercy says and goes back to find the Kadett she's got on the lift leaking everything. Mercy's sure that Opel's just spiting her now. She put fresh oil in two hours ago...as Mercy grabs a wrench and a bucket looking to the Opel. "Aha, found why you're leaking" Mercy says and tightens a few bolts, looking triumphantly at the Opel as she's adding more oil and fluids. "There we go!" Mercy calls.

Overlord has posed:
Joseph Miller will walk with her, and says "I think I found one but might be a bit before I ca get, it when you wanting to hit the trails?" He will ask, as he is cleaning and making sure the gear back cycles right before putting it back in.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods to Joseph and looks amused then over to the bike. "You fixed the gearbox? Good thinking" she says with a grin, "Kadett's done so I can call the owner tomorrow and explain the car's worth saving after all. Pulse's bike is done. So...." Mercy nods, "Pizza's in the kitchen, too" she adds with a nod.
