Cast of Characters: Lara Croft, Chris Redfield

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara Croft is in the food court, its technically her 'lunch hour' though her schedule generally isn't so formal. She's here on occasion, when she's in the Triskelion and working on a project that is so demanding that she doesn't wish to leave the building to find sustenance.

So at a table in the corner of the room, the one known as the 'Tomb Raider' sits, surrounded by a collection of folders with photos fanning out from inside of them, and a tablet computer in front of her that is propped up by its dark blue case's little fold-out leg.

Lara is sipping a drink in a silver mug, and finishing off the last of a fruit and chicken salad she'd gotten from the well stocked food lines.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris Redfield on the other hand has come in and gone for a simple meal, a burger, fries and.....a coffee as he looks around at the food court. He settles into a table a few over from Lara, adding salt, ketchup and....things, mustard and sauce apparently to the burger and biting into it. "Hey" he says looking over once he swallows. and nods to Lara. WAND are a strange lot....but Chris isn't actually in fatigues or a flight suit. Jeans, t-shirt and his jacket is on and unzippped. He has a sheet of paper and is writing on it in a neat practiced hand. He's not WAND. Instead, he's watching Lara then going back to writing. He's actually, if anyone cared to lokread what he's written, is writing out a report on a prototype weapon he's been test firing. Now he's working on the report....by hand. He'll type it up later and submit it, but he likes physical copies.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara is dressed in dark gray jeans and a light gray tanktop that has a SHIELD logo over the left breast. She has a dark navy SHIELD light jacket resting on the back of her chair too.

When Chris does his little casual greeting, it takes Lara a moment to pull her eyes from the tablet computer to recognize the man had spoken to her. She looks over and up at his face, then shows him a light smile. "Chris, right?" She says, having met him before in the gym where they'd had a casual exchange of introductions and the like. She notes his meal, and can sort've see his work, but can't make it out.

"Good to see you again." The London-born native responds to the man before she glances back to all the photos and such in front of her on her table.

Chris Redfield has posed:
"It is" Chris nods. "Yeah, Chris. Chris Redfield" he says and disappears out of the food court to get his laptop and comes back, typing away once it fires up. Lara has a tablet. Chris,...prefers a lpaptop as he nods. "Been test firing the new long rifles and need to do a report on it" he adds, "You're doing WAND things? You know I never" he says not once looking from the screen. He doesn't evny WAND......he though stretches. "Good to see you again" he nods to Lara, and looks briefly to Lara then back to his screen, typing up his notes. The food's chewed on occasionally, ketchup added as the fries sit there, the clatter of keys is heard.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara shows another faint smile to his full name introduction again and then looks up as he moves to leave to get his computer. By the time he's returned she's finished her food and pushed the bowl off to the side. She's set the tablet PC down and is holding up a glossy photograph, just eyeing it while sipping her drink.

When he speaks again of his own work, Lara looks up to him and when he speaks of her own work she shows another light smile. "WAND things. Yes." She responds, showing a bit of amusement to him and how he phrased that so simplistically. "And you never what...?" She has to ask then as he'd left that a bit un-finished, or so it sounded.

Chris Redfield has posed:
Chris looks amused at Lara. "I never feel like I'd fit in WAND, that's all. I'm more guns and boots and shooting pepople and being in a team" Chris nods. "I mean, I fly, I shoot things. I'd get bored with WAND or BPRD" he adds and shakes his head with a chuckle, chomping on the fries and stirring his coffee. "You ever want to trade roles, let me know. I'll sit in WAND for a week, you go boots on the ground and flying a Quinjet" Chris chuckles.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara places her right elbow onto the table and then props her chin up in the palm of her hand as she stares over at the man speaking to her. She can't help but show a faint grin to what he says. "I'm not sure the SHIELD protocols would authorize such a trade of responsibilities." She replies to the man before she glances back at what she's looking at. When he speaks of a Quinjet she looks back onto him. "I've flown on them many times, even sat with one of the pilots and asked all manner of certainly frustrating questions. Such is the way of a person who's curious about flying, but only ever done so on a casual level. I've logged the most hours in a commercial helicopter, and done a little in prop planes. But never a jet."

Chris Redfield has posed:
"Look, when you've faced down zombies...protocols are kind of something that's just....there" he says, then chuckles again. "You come into my flight deck and ask me questions, I'll hand you a checklist and tell you what to push. I'm joking" he adds with a wide, wicked grin. "Ya know, if they don't allow such a trade of responsibilities.....we can dream. Ah flying for pleasure's good" Chris laughs and looks impressed. "Prety sure I've flown you WAND guys and girls around. You nevr complain when I kick the jet sideways and pull the nose up to stop and give the gun a better angle" Chris nods sagely. "Helps you lot run out the back too. And sides, come to think of it" he smirks and returns his attention to the laptop with the keyboard clicking away.

"See" he adds a few moments later. "You got the chance to look at the new pistols?? They hold more rounds but a longer barrel, but they're quieter. I like them but I want the guns I'm used to, ya know?" he adds and clicks over on his laptopl. "Seriously? I thought I did all the tests they wanted. Shame....I'll go complete the mssing ones. If you want my unofficial off the books opinion, drop by my suite, A4" he nods. It's not a date, more Chris offering a fresh pair of eyes on WAND stuff.
