Location: Red Hook, Burnley
Synopsis: Fi and Jason made friends.
Cast of Characters: Red Hood, Fiona Glenanne

Red Hood has posed:
Red Hood doesn't so much patrol as he prowls. He's like a shark, an apex predator, slinking through the urban jungle and looking for the vulnerable. Except, in his case, the vulnerable are those deserving of punishment, predators themselves. He hunts the hunters.

He's parked his bike in a small, narrow alley, taking a moment to scan through the police feeds and channels. He adjusts his gauntlets, flexing his fingers, making sure his draws are clear on his various guns. The usual maintenance.

Nothing too much stirring the water right now. Domestic dispute three blocks away. Broken hydrants six blocks. Fender bender turned into a brawl outside a bar. Nothing that requires his attention.

Yet.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona's not so much prowling, she's stulking, if that's a thing. According to her, it is. She's skulking alright, moving with a purpose. She's not got any scanners. Or any of that tech. She's got a gun, she's got a fist like a kiss, and....she's trouble alright. No bike, nothing.

Fiona, though, is making her way down the street, she's here to take in a bounty. Yeah she still does /that/ though, and she's not in the best of moods. Her foot's better, the boot's off, but Fis's till not testing it that badly though. She's inclined to not put weight on her injured foot. That's what kicking a demoness gets you.

Red Hood has posed:
Hood takes a quick scan of the street and takes note of the limping woman. She's armed, he can tell that much, and not particularly pleasant of mind. He can understand being armed. It's a bad neighborhood, after all. He's one of the worst things in it.

He's not going to confront her yet. But he is going to keep an eye on her.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi limps to a wall then leans on it. She's used to this, by now. Oh she's going to have words with the doctors in Hawaii...she's gonna have words alright. Loud, shouty words capped off by things going bang, knowing Fiona. She'll make sure she gets better first...but she's just getting her breath back against a wall. She's got her gun, and....she's got a few 'toys' in her pocket, oh she's damn good at this, and she's made some pocket sized explosives she's carrying. Yikes, if she gets caught, she'll rot in jail. Poor Fiona...so she's careful that won't happen.

Red Hood has posed:
There's a sharp engine noise and the Red Hood's cycle peels out of the alley, kicking into a sharp turn and jetting down the street until it comes at an abrupt stop next to Fi. The vigilante's helmeted visage turns towards her, reflective crimson showing her face as if soaked in blood.

"You up to no good, stranger? People here have enough trouble as it is, don't you think?" he says.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi shakes her head at the bike and figure. "Oh no, I'm out for a walk, I'm just leting my foot get better" Fi says quietly, watching the bike come to a stop then looking a little worried then concerned. She's not dead....yet. Fi though is a little worried. "What about you, are you out here for trouble?" Fiona adds with a questioning look. Fiona Glenanne. She's trouble, on one or two legs, but right now she's behaving...mostly. Very much mostly as Fiona's not about to pick a fight for no reason.

Red Hood has posed:
"I am trouble," he says. "When I see somebody with guns on them, limping through a ghetto, with a look on their pretty face that says they'd wanna bite the nose off anybody crosses them wrong, I tend to take an interest. Not judging. I've got kind of a temper myself. Just want to make sure you work it out on people that deserve it, not innocent types."

"And yeah, I know, nobody's innocent, yadda yadda. You know what I mean."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi folds her arms and cants her head. "So what you're saying is you're smart. Good to know. I don't have to start shooting at you for being an ass" Fi shrugs, "So come on, who are you?" she adds and loooks over then looks up and down the street. Fi's not stupid, she knows how bad the area is. Instead, she, if anything, is underprepared for a fight, or would be if she wasn't such a good shot really. Fiona though groans a little bit, shifting her weight to her good leg.

Red Hood has posed:
Jason Todd cocks his head, "What you need my name for? You gonna start sending me Christmas cards?" he asks. Then relents a little bit. "Red Hood. Lucky you're dealing with me and not the Bat. He'd have broken your wrists already just for carryin'," he says.

"I dunno what kind of trouble you're in. I'm guessin' you ain't the type to ask for help, even if you need it."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi raises an eyebrow and shakes her head. "Yeah I'm also lucky I'm not dead or shot or in jail right now or dead by my own hand" Fiona smarrts. "Fiona Daniels" she says using her fake ID. "I would offfer a hand but my first instinct is to start shooting or detonating things. So...forgive me for skipping offfering a hand" she says with a slight smile. "Jeez, what does that guy have against guns? My folks use guns andwwe're fine with it" Fi says with a groan, looking unimpressed. "Tell Bats to get with the times, seriously. Guns are only bad if you kill people.

A nd Fiona's not bad at placing her shots, really

Red Hood has posed:
Jason Todd nods, "I have similar habits. I don't take it personally," he says. "The Bat has seen too many good people killed with guns. I don't blame him for his hang-ups. I just don't do what he tells me," he says.

Anymore, he adds in his head.

"So, if I ran your name through the database, what nasty things are going to come up, Fiona Daniels? I'm going to guess that's an alias, but if you've used it before, it'll come through. Plus, most people use aliases that are variations of their actual names. Makes them easier to remember, so you don't slip up."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
"Few trips to Hawaii and hospital visits" Fi says. Truth, that. Fi though isn't giving away her actual name, and the long history of things she's done with her past. That's what she's worried about, realy. Fiona's not stupid enough for that. Instead she listens. "I get that, but....you know you can go non lethal, right? I did it as a bounty hunter. It works amazingly well, if you're inclined to d othat"

Red Hood has posed:
Jason Todd nods, "Probably a good idea. Lot less trouble, lot less legal issues. Don't get the Bat on your back or, at least, not as much. Non-lethal crimefighting is a fine and wise and honorable profession."

"But yeah, I ain't really inclined. Plenty of people around these parts got the kid gloves on. Even me, once upon a time. But I took 'em off and I don't really think they fit anymore. Suits me fine."

"If you got a chance to go to Hawaii, I'd take it. Weather's way better there than here."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi laughs, actually laughs gently. "I hear ya. Kid gloves don't fit, didn't fit for ages" Fi shrugs. "And yeah. Hawaii is amazing. Got a shot to vacation there and it is beautiful" Fi adds with a smirk wishing she had a camera to snap pictures. Looking around again Fi's eyes snap back to the bike and rider. "See, we're on the same team, I was out here to limp my butt into collecting a bounty on this street. Then we got talking" Fi shrugs, not sounding mad at all. Instead she sounds glad.

Red Hood has posed:
He nods, "Fair enough," he says. She could be lying about all that and he definitely would give a run at the system about her later, but, for now, he figured she was shooting straight. Metaphorically speaking.

"So, tell me about this bounty? Reward's all yours, but I wouldn't mind lending a hand if it'll get a proper crook off the streets."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi shrugs, $850 for some guy who wrote a bad check, GCPD's not caring" she sighs and looks over. "Coming or...?" she addds as Fi pulls out her phone. "C'mon Oracle get back to me" Fi adds in a mutter, "Asked if you got anything to help me out here...nada" she sighs then snaps her attention back to Jason. "Yeah I could use a bit of help if you're interested. I'll split it with you" Fi says with a gentle nod. She's shooting mostly straight. She's just not giving out her actual name. At leaast....not yet

Red Hood has posed:
Jason Todd nods, "Check kiting's pretty low hanging fruit. I ain't got much interest in busting somebody just for being poor. Who'd he write the check to? Who is this guy anyway?" he asks. Yeah, he asks questions and he's kind of blunt about it. Tim would probably hang back and observe, pick up the facts for himself, deduct some shit.

Not really Jason's style.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi shrugs, "Guy wrote a bad check for $15,000. Yet the bounty's $850. Work that out. He wrote a bad check to pay a lot of tickets to GCPD. GCPD won't do anything, supposedly he's a bit of a rich guy" Fiona sighs. "Not that it makes sense to me either" Fiona adds and raises her palms. "I don't make the rules, I just, ya know, take in the bounties. Now if my birds were out here...well..." she shrugs again, tossing her brown hair behind her as she looks tto Jason again.

Red Hood has posed:
"Rich guys who don't pay interest me more than poor folks who can't. Probably cancelled the check just to make a point," he says. He's been around a few of those rich guys, from his time living at the Manor. Never liked them then, likes them less now. What else would you expect from a kid who grew up in the worst ghetto in Gotham, stealing hubcaps for spare change?

"Let's go say hello to this guy. See what he has to say for himself."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
FI grins, "Alright, it's just up here" Fi says and waves a hand up the street. "Five houses in front of your bike. "I'll walk, you ride, yeah?" she asks with a smile watching Jason, then she settles into a half limping walk. She's got her eye on the house in quesition, ghetto house, painted door, and, and....barred windows. Apparently the rich guy lives /here/

Red Hood has posed:
The Hood keeps up easily enough, throwing down his kickstand as they reach the place. "Nice windows. Guessin' he ain't the kind that got rich by trading stocks," he says. "You want me to take point?" he says, nodding towards her limping leg, "Or you wanna play the pride card?"

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi shrugs. "Either, but I'd rather not shoot you in the back by mistake or get you catching me in the midle of fights" Fi adds.

Getting to the door Fi gestures, "Go for it, take point. Guy's rich enough to spend thousands on a check" she says carefully. "Who knows what he's got?"

He's got a pair of guard dogs, and he's got a shotgun by the door, and an Uzi in his hands. The target's waiting by the door, high and paranoid. Fi looks to Jason then the door, shaking her head.

Red Hood has posed:
Jason flicks a button on his helmet and, sure enough, those thermal sensors hidden in the lenses show the dog and the man himself even through the thin protection of the walls. The Hood points at the man's position, then at the dogs through the wall, using hand-signs to indicate their position.

Jason kicks the door but, instead, of plunging in, swings to the side, letting the guy try to get a drop and prepared to take out any part of the punk that reaches out into the open.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi nods and hangs back. She's got her gun out now as the door swings open and the shotgun roars. Fi throws herself to the ground snapping off a shot at the guy, bullet grazing his arm as the punk was aiming at her again. Fi scrabbles out of the way, one eye on the punk, one eye on Jason. Fi's in fight or run away mode. She's following Jasons' lead now. The punk's got the shotgun and his arms out the door, waving the gun around like he's not used it before. Which just makes him easier to figure out. The dogs are, oddly enough, asleep in dog beds further into the house.
