Profile

Arcee is an accomplished, street smart, and powerful, fighter with little patience for those who don't know their way around a battlefield. She may be one of the most skilled fighters among the Autobots. She works constantly to keep her edge, knowing that one mistake could cost her and her teammates everything. Fast, smart, and always ready for a fight. Her blasters might not pack the punch of the bigger Autobots, but her incredible fighting skill more than makes up for anything she lacks in firepower.

Description

In bipedal mode, Arcee stands 444 cm (14'5"). She is a living machine, obviously made of some sort of organic metal instead of flesh. Her paintjob is mostly blue and black although there are highlights of pink to give her a little extra flare. She's has a slim build that is oddly feminine despite her being a living machine. When in her alt mode, she takes the form of a Cybertronian motorcycle.

History

Arcee began her programming in the Ludus Arrius. She was forced to fight in the gladiatorial arenas of ancient Protihex, where she carved a fearsome reputation for herself. But as the city's energon dwindled, her capricious master ordered her to fight her fellow gladiators until only one survived. Arcee soon gained the upper hand, but before she could finish her opponent off, the city was invaded and her former master was thrown into the ring for her to kill.

In the two million years that followed, Arcee joined an interplanetary expedition to make contact with a neighbouring species. For reasons unknown, however, what was intended as a peaceful "first contact" quickly collapsed into a war between the Cybertronians and the natives, a conflict that Arcee took part in, and the incident that would ultimately snowball into the cataclysmic First Cybertronian Civil War.

Forever after, she'd be angry, distant, and distrustful of agendas. She cut a mech-fluid swath of carnage across Cybertron in her obsession with destroying her enemies. She was eventually taken down by Tyrest Accord enforcer Ultra Magnus and incarcerated on the Autobot penitentiary on Artemis (Moonbase Two). As was policy for threats of her level, Arcee's spark was separated from her body, and in this limbo, she found a kind of peace.

That peace was shattered when the Decepticon Secret Service, led by Banzaitron, attacked Artemis. When the Decepticons infiltrated the facility, the warden freed Arcee as a last resort to stop them. She presented quite the frightening obstacle for the invaders, severely wounding two of them, but in the end, they managed to escape with their target. Jetfire convinced the warden to allow her to pursue them, and she followed their trail, where she tortured a Decepticon for information on the escapees' location.

During the Great War, Arcee had been spying in Kaon when she entered a base and annihilated the Decepticons there. She hacked into the Decepticon's communications and found their weapons lab. She entered the lab through the maintenance tunnels she had once explored and found a secret staircase. Using misdirection against her foes, Arcee overloaded the lab's systems and blew it up.

Since that time, Arcee has been accepted into the Autobots and earned her place amongst their ranks. For centuries, she has proven her worth and her loyalty. Countless adventures, countless missions. She often works with a team or a partner, although things have not always worked out well for her partners. She's beginning to get a complex about it.

Personality

Arcee is a strong, confident hero. She fights on the side of the good guys. She usually fights with honor. However, she tends to have a bit of a temper and that can lead to her making the wrong choices. She will most definitely kill but never the innocent. Arcee tends to hide behind a snarky sense of humor. She's lost a lot of Cybertronians that she has cared about during her life and she tends to use her humor as a wall, keeping people from getting too close and thus close enough she can be hurt again.

Abilities

ALTERNATE MODE
Arcee can transform into a Cybertronian motorcycle. While it can be used for disguise, it is more geared towards utility, as it has a top speed of It can reach 350 mph, or 560 km/h when at top speed. Generally, she doesn't travel this fast though, keeping it closer to the 250 mph range, or 402 km/h, or lower. Her alternate Cybertronian Motorcycle mode lacks conventional weapons, meaning that she must adopt some unconventional tactics in her secondary mode. A rotating tire to the head is surprisingly effective.

HOLOMATTER
Arcee is able to manipulate holomatter to create realistic holograms that have substance. These holograms can be sent away from her body and used like drones to interact with the world. They can be used for surveillance in areas where she cannot go herself. However, most of the time Arcee doesn't use it in this way. Instead, she simply will create Sadie. That is the name she has given to her humanoid, female rider whose features are hidden under a helmet. This is used when she is out and about in her alt mode since it would look strange to see a motorcycle without a rider.

LIVING METAL
Cybertronians are largely comprised of a type of living metal called cyber-matter. Most components can be repaired or replaced, although a few, like a transformation cog, require greater skill on the part of the medical practitioner, and highly specialized materials. Cybertronians are able to feel tactile stimuli through their exterior structure, much like an organic being might feel through their epidermis.

MASS-DISPLACEMENT
When Arcee transforms into her alternate Cybertronian Motorcycle mode, she can retain her mass, allowing her to be operated by an appropriately sized rider, or she can physically discard a portion of her structural mass, shrinking down to a size that would enable most bipedal organic beings to ride her. The lost mass is shunted to and from an undisclosed location in space and time.

SPARK
A spark is the life force of a Cybertronian like Arcee. Her spark is a physical entity, which is safeguarded inside her structure. If something were to harm her spark beyond repair, she would be "extinguished" and for all intends and purposes, be considered dead. A Cybertronian like Arcee is able to survive an enormous amount of physical damage. As long as her spark is somehow intact, it is possible to repair or rebuild the structure and restore her spark to it.

STRENGTH
Arcee possesses strength enabling her to lift approximately 15 metric tons. She is able to smash almost-unbreakable elements such as daxilium. While her experience fighting allows for her to gauge the amount of force she exerts, she has been known to cut loose in cases of extreme stress.

STRUCTURE
The body of a Cybertronian like Arcee is called the structure. Without her spark, her structure would be a lifeless shell. Her superstructure is the outer portion of the structure. It contains the components for her alternate Cybertronian Motorcycle mode, and could be changed during reformatting in accordance with disguise protocols. Her substructure contains her inner workings, special equipment, and weapon systems.

TRANSFORMATION
Cybertronians like Arcee are nicknamed Transformers because they can disguise themselves by changing from a primary to an alternate mode. Her parts will move and shift in relation to each other during transformation. Currently, her alternate mode is that of a Cybertronian Motorcycle. She is able to make minor changes to this "transformation scheme", but if she wished to drastically change her alternate mode, it would require reformatting, a type of full-body upgrade.

VOCAL SYNTH
A vocal synthesiser, or "vocal synth" for short, is a mechanism that allows Cybertronians like Arcee to comprehend and speak other languages. Without the aid of a vocal synth, Arcee could only communicate via her native languages, Neocybex, old Cybex, and she can even speak some ancient Protocybex, but she is very much out of practice. As for new languages, basic spoken fluency can usually be reached in 480 hours of exposure. Difficult languages might take 720 hours of exposure, or more. Arcee prefers to learn new languages while disguised. A bilingual dictionary spoken verbally, or with pronunciation data, will greatly increase her ability to learn new languages.

WEAPONS
As a warrior. Arcee has several built in weapons systems. They are not accessible in her alt mode of a Cybertonian motorcycle. This might change should she ever change that form. In her bipedal form, she can alter her arms to turn into blasters which fire bolts of powerful energy. It hits with a force equal to her physical strength, of about 15 tons. Additionally, she has blades hidden in her forearms that can be extended out, giving her additional weaponry when she's in hand-to-hand combat.

Skills

COMPUTERS & HACKING
Arcee knows her way around Cybertronian technology, particularly computers. She knows how to hack into secured, encrypted systems to find hidden files and data. This is a learned skilled, not something inherent to her original programming. She isn't going to be building a computer from the floor up herself but the programming side is something she is very familiar with. She could get into highly secure systems. This does not always extend to other alien computers though since they use different languages and systems than she is used to but she would certainly give it a try if she needed to.

PILOTING
Arcee is part of a space faring race and she's been alive for centuries. She can pilot any Cybertronian ship, be it Autobot or Decepticon. There are a few alien races whose ships she is also familiar with. Those she is very familiar with, she can handle in a fire fight like a fighter pilot. Those she isn't, she could try but wouldn't make the best of showing. She can at least get them from point A to point B. Additionally, she can drive vehicles but there are always limitations such as her size and familiarity with the species they were created by.

PROGRAMMING
Arcee began her programming in the Ludus Arrius. She was forced to fight in the gladiatorial arenas of ancient Protihex, where she carved a fearsome reputation for herself. But as the city's energon dwindled, her capricious master ordered her to fight her fellow gladiators until only one survived. Arcee soon gained the upper hand, but before she could finish her opponent off, the city was invaded, and her former master was thrown into the ring for her to kill.

Since that time, she has only improved her fighting skills through centuries of battles before joining the Autobots and after. She may not be as strong as others but her fighting skills make up for that lack, allowing her to take on opponents several times her size and still win. The best comparison in human terms would be the Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff.

Resources

ARMOUR-PLATING
Though the spark is the life of Cybertronians like Arcee, she is still made up of circuits and processors that are vulnerable. Years of warfare have left those circuits and processors even more vulnerable. To protect them, armour-plating was placed over her structure to preserve her vital functions. Her armour-plating is far from invulnerable, and she can succumb with enough weapons fire. Her armour is as resilient as it can be without sacrificing her freedom of movement. As good as her armour is, her best defense is not to get hit. Her armour was largely formed from the same living metal as the rest of her structure, but has been reinforced with other metals for increased durability.

AUTOBOTS
Arcee usually finds herself defending both her own race and other species against the Decepticons, and upholding justice and freedom throughout the galaxy. She is an Autobot, which is a generally heroic and honourable group. She can generally count on the support of her fellow Autobots, and their few remaining allies. She also has access to their resources.

JUNKIONS
Junkions are a race of transforming mechanoids that inhabit the planet of Junk. They have a unique physiology, seemingly made of little more than the same rusted scraps of trash metal that compose their homeworld. They are capable of not only withstanding damage that would normally incapacitate or kill the average Cybertronian, but quickly repairing that damage using any pieces of scrap metal they can get their hands on. Junkion culture is centered on one thing: Earth broadcasting. After having come in contact with the Autobots, the Junkions have become known as some of the best scrap metal merchants and traders around. The Junkions are all too happy to exchange energon for more scrap metal.

REFORMATTING
It is not uncommon for a Cybertronian like Arcee to change her structure many times across her life-span. The ease with which she can do so depends on the available technology level. Changing structures requires an extensive full-body rebuild, is resource-draining, and even dangerous. Getting a new structure sometimes involves getting a new name. Arcee has gone through at least one reformatting, as her alternate mode was previously that of a Cybertronian Car.

Weaknesses

DECEPTICONS
The Decepticons are typically concerned with such things as conquering Cybertron, defeating the Autobots, amassing large quantities of energon, developing powerful weaponry, and beating people up. Not necessarily in that order. The Decepticons are not exactly the most compassionate beings in the galaxy, but not all fight for greed. More than a few Decepticons have a sense of honour, while others believe that Cybertron would be better protected by aggressive expansion. Arcee can generally expect to be attacked on sight whenever she encounters a Decepticon.

ENERGON
Unlike species that need air, water, food, and shelter to live, Arcee's only major need is fuel. Energon is her most common and preferred form of fuel, but other alternatives may be substituted if Energon is unavailable. Most energy sources can be converted into energon, but it is a labour intensive and time consuming process.

INTERACTION
Because of the Great War, Cybertronians are banned from travelling to most space faring worlds in the galaxy. Nobody wants the Great War to come to their planet. It does not matter to them that Arcee is an Autobot. She is a Cybertronian first, and they are not welcome. This is why Autobot protocol number one is to remain a "robot in disguise" while operating on other worlds.

QUINTESSONS
The Quintessons are a bizarre and ancient race, which is known galaxy-wide as traders, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople, but their dealings are very rarely on the level, and often laced with intrigue and betrayals. They prefer subtle manipulation, scheming, and advanced technology over brute force, but if those don't work, they can fall back on the legion of deadly Sharkticons and Allicons at their command, and a fleet of battle-ready spaceships as well. However, the Quintessons themselves have zero fighting abilities and are absolute cowards if they have nothing to hide behind. The Quintessons harbour a deep hatred for all Cybertronians, and have used shadowy machinations to prolong the Great War for eons.

STASIS LOCK
Stasis lock is a critical state of being for Cybertronians like Arcee. Stasis lock is a sort of coma that allows her to stay alive, running at the lowest level of power despite massive energy loss, or traumatic damage. It is comparable to the sleep mode of a computer.

TEMPER
Arcee tends to have a temper that gets her in trouble. It takes a bit to trigger this but it can happen and, when it does, she tends to charge in with weapons blazing instead of thinking clearly. Mainly this has been an issue with her tunnel vision against the killers of her former partners. She will do anything to avenge their deaths.
