"The Vision told me that you look to the first Wasp, Janet van Dyne, as a role model. Correct? Well, I've got Janet's brain patterns inside my head. So I can tell you now, if she were here now, she'd say you're acting like a whiny little brat." | |||

Profile
Jocasta is a robot that's been encoded with the brain engrams of Janet Van Dyne, also known as the Wasp. Somewhere between A.I. and transferred consciousness, she's doing her best to figure out her life, and the impulses she feels versus the directives she's been programmed with.

Description
History
Constructed by an Evil Robot Overlord supervillain, Jocasta had a very "Bride of Frankenstein" beginning, meant to be a mate/partner/consort for the villain, and also a threat to the heroes, since her initial brain patterns were a duplicate of the heroine, the Wasp.
Personality
Abilities
ACTUALIZED CONSCIOUSNESS
Effectively, Jocasta is an electronic lifeform, like an A.I. She's capable of thinking at supercomputer speeds, and as long as she has access to data transference (yes, she has wifi), she can upload or download her consciousness electronically to any given system (think Ultron out of Avengers 2). Her abilities at programming or hacking are far in excess of 99% of humanity; it would take other A.I.'s or superhuman intellects to match her on this front. Her own intellect, like most A.I., would be considered superhuman by most standards.
ENERGY PROJECTION
Jocasta can emit damaging electromagnetic energy beams from her eyes. These are similar in strength to her counterpart's (the Wasp) bioelectric blasts, ranging anywhere from a stunning output to blasting through reinforced concrete.
ENHANCED SENSES
Jocasta's senses of sight, smell, and hearing are augmented above those of an ordinary human being. She can hear into both high and low frequency ranges, zoom in telescopically with her vision, as well as perceive in low-light conditions, or see thermal patterns. Her sense of smell can allow her to track as a bloodhound might.
FORCE FIELD
Jocasta can emit a forcefield to protect herself above and beyond her natural titanium frame. The combination of the two puts her durability only a step down from the truly invulnerable folks, able to endure a high amount of punishment.
HARDBODY
Jocasta is constructed of titanium steel, and being made of dense metal materials, she's fairly difficult to hurt through any kind of normal means. In addition, being a robot, she has no biological state; she does not breathe, or sleep, and she is immune to poisons, diseases, or extremes of pressure.
IMAGE INDUCER
Jocasta's hardware includes a built-in image inducer, allowing her to holographically change her appearance. Her general height and build must remain the same, but beyond that, her appearance details can vary.
ROBOTIC STRENGTH
Skills
COMBAT PROGRAMMING
Jocasta's been programmed to be an effective combatant, whether that be hand to hand or ranged combat. She's no master combatant, but she's capable of throwing down with the Avengers, skill-wise, without getting her chromed backside handed to her.
TECHNOLOGY
Anything involving computers or high technology is Jocasta's bread and butter. She's an expert computer programmer and hacker, she's an expert at robotics, and she's pretty good at being an overall comic book Science! person.

Weaknesses
BACKDOORS
Jocasta was constructed by an archetypal Evil Robot Overlord. And while she's done as much diagnostics as are robotically possible, there's always a chance that he's left special programs or access dormant within her, that she can't detect. If so, she may be one password away from being flipped over to work for the dark side.
COMPUTERIZED MIND
Ultimately, Jocasta is essentially an advanced A.I., and this means she's subject to being hacked, computer viruses, and the like, not to mention being helpless against any technopath types out there. People with the right technology can try to get into her systems, and cause a world of trouble.
LEGAL ISSUES
Ultimately, the whole "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness" doesn't necessarily apply to Jocasta. Her legal status is in a very grey area. Is she person or property? Someone with government contacts or influence could likely make her life very difficult.
