Profile

Leslie Willis was a social media star. Wild, carefree, #YOLO and stuff. Until one of her stunts to get more followers went horribly awry. How was she supposed to know that electrical transformer was like... dangerous? Besides, it was totally the tallest point to get a shot of the oncoming thunder storm! ...Shut up! She's not stupid! You're stupid! She's got -way- more followers than you, you nerd!

Description:

Leslie Willis is one wild bundle of energy. Like, no seriously, she's electrifying. Oh, wait, no -electrocuting-. She's killing you with electricity. Because she wants your stuff. Or you tried to stop her from taking someone else's stuff. Because she's -totally- wicked.

She's a super villain. Leslie Willis, aka Livewire is an honest to goodness supervillain. She sure looks it too. The 5'5" height, the svelte figure sure don't prove it. Even the bright electric blue hair that spikes up wildly might not. Kids these days, and she looks like she's in her teen years for sure. Sure, most teens aren't quite so pale. She's not really pallid either, its an utterly unnatural whiteness to her skin, really about as close to pure snow as one can get, with the occasional shift to an almost greyish blue tint. Or, given the white-blue shine to her eyes, as close as one can get to a lightning bolt given human form. Beneath that shocking blue hair are dark eyebrows. They don't match the hair, dark, primly and carefully done with a bit of an arch to them, they frame those bright, wild eyes easily. And those eyes show a touch of makeup, just a little bit of shadow, and mascara to make dark eyelashes pop. Between those large eyes is a pert, narrow nose. And beneath that nose are full lips. Dark, gleaming black lips. Maybe it's metahuman transformation, maybe it's Maybelline. Whatever it is, it's usually curled in a dismissive sneer, a sardonic twist, or just a grimace of hate and rage and wild, psychotic glee.

The sweep of that pale skin disappears down into a skintight, shining covering. It's a slick, shining black fabric. Clinging like a second skin, hooking over narrow shoulders for security and, because... well, a giant lightning-bolt shaped cutout from clavicle to navel and then some probably means it needs the support of being over the shoulder, along with allowing for long sleeves that disappear down into blue gloves at her wrists. Her cleavage is bared in a daring, almost downright taunting display, full and perked up by the tight costume, it shows everything without -showing- anything. And if you happen to notice that, you're probably going to get a fifty gigawatt notice that she caught you staring. Her stomach is taut and toned without showing stark muscle definition, not rocking a six pack, she's more skinny and sleek, built for speed.

At least, up top she's built for speed. Her hips swell out, filling that dark one-piece suit, which is cut high on the sides, revealing wide, broad hips, and clinging to a full, round backside. Her pale thighs are bared about halfway, before her legs disappear into tall, heeled boots made of the same mysterious fabric as her costume. The boots press in against those thicker thighs, showing there's at least a bit of give to that firm, smooth skin and muscle beneath. The heel of her boots adds almost a full five inches, bringing the wild woman nearly to 5'11", and she doesn't seem all that bothered about the lift, moving with confidence.

History

History:

Leslie Willis was totally your standard teen. Rebellious, bucking authority, from an upstanding upper-middle class family. Which let her afford all the equipment needed to get a start online with video streaming and the like. She was a viral star, and as her following grew, so did her risks, and the rush of going further. Sure, -school- had all those stupid videos by the costumed heroes about how you should listen to authority and stuff, but like... Superman's a square. And besides, he wasn't around when she went out in a thunder storm to livestream it! And he sure didn't stop that lightning strike that hit the power transformer she was climbing. But shockingly, it didn't kill her. No, it made her better. It made her one of -them-, those powered jerks who always got more views, more clicks, more shares. Well now she's gonna get -her- shares! Livewire's here, and she's gonna make you like her, whether you like it or not! 'cause like... your phone's electricity or whatever, see? She'll make you like it with like... computers. She's gonna figure it out.

Personality

Personality:

She's a biiiii- ...big bad surly grumpy meanspirited angsty teenage rebel. She's got a chip on her shoulder so big for everyone you oughta call her Tollhouse. Get it? Like chocolate chips? Shut up, this is why Leslie hates everyone. No one, like, -gets- her? And now she's got electrical powers and stuff, and people are -still- all harping about how 'Oh, you can't use them for cool stuff!'. Well nuts to that! Leslie's going to be lewd, crude, and full of attitude! And not in some hokey kid's cartoon way. She's going to get what she wants now, because like... she's got -powers-! Besides, who needs -friends- or like... -understanding-? Pffff.

Abilities

Electrokinesis:

The control and manipulation of electricity. You want it, she's got it! And not in some hokey 'My hammer shoots lightning' way. She is living electricity. She still has a body, but she can transform it, traveling through electrical systems, she can even make herself appear on your TV screen. ...Okay, not like, you know, if you're watching one of her videos. Like she can be IN your TV. But she has limits. She can jump in your computer and fry it up real good, but she can't access the computer files. But she can definitely absorb electricity from power grids, and throw it back out as lightning bolts, or lightning punches, or lightning kicks.

Skills

Motormouth:
Leslie's got one thing going for her... aside from the whole 'Can hit you with the power grid output of a major city' thing. She can -talk-. Babble. Run on and on and distract you until she can run away. As long as she's not being interrupted with intellectually complex questions.

Social Media Savvy:

Leslie's got an innate understanding of what teenage slackers want to see. And she's also got followers across social media platforms. And she's spent years learning to manipulate her followers, before it was to tweet at companies she was irked by, or taunt people she didn't like. Now? Who knows what she could rile a crowd up into doing.

Resources

Followers:

Leslie's got -tons- of social media followers. She had them when she was just some girl doing photo posts and rants and reviews. But now she's doing -crime-, and somehow she's still got them. Sure, they're not professional henchmen, or hired goons, but they can slip her info, let her know things... or at least annoy the cops when she's in jail waiting for her bail to post. Heck, they can crowdfund her bail -for- her!

Weaknesses

I'm Not Dumb!:
Leslie's not the sharpest pencil, the brightest crayon, the not-skipping-classest student. It turns out you don't need to be all that bright to climb up electrical equipment in a thunder storm (Who knew?) and while that has worked out -gangbusters- for 'Get super powers in a tragic accident' purposes, it's not so hot for 'Figure out how to stop this super heroic scheme to stop me' purposes. You don't need to -beat- Leslie, you just need to outwit her. And like... she's had trouble with captcha entries on websites.

Mental Instability:
So there's -one- little problem with being able to absorb seemingly limitless quantities of electricity. It changes Leslie. Oh, sure, she'll maybe have sparks jumping off her, or lightning running along her body... but that's not the real issue. The real issue is electricity's like a drug. If she's drained, she's a surly, grumpy, mopey teenager. If she's charged up, she's a wild, rambunctious villain, or at least, menace to society. If she's -super charged- she's a megalomaniacal super villain. In the body of a teenager. With the personality of a teenager who ate Sugar Crisp for breakfast and replaced the milk with Four Loco. She's manic, borderline unhinged, and as unpredictable as... well, lightning.

Water:

Oh god! I'm melting! Meeeeeltiiiing! Hahahaha, no I'm not. But like... water and electricity are bad, right? Because you saw those PSAs about like, toasters in bath tubs? Well Leslie's like a big big toaster. Hit her with water while she's charged up, and the sparks are going to fly. Literally. Also, it'll probably knock her out.
