Along the Gulf coast in America, stories are told of a monster that stalks the night; leaving mutilated corpses, both animal and human, in it's wake. In Louisiana and Florida, the Gatorman is said to prey on unsuspecting victims caught out alone at night. In the Carolinas, tales speak of sightings of a creature about seven feet tall with red eyes and scaly skin known as the Lizard Man. No matter where the claims originate, they all share a common theme; the creature is large, reptilian and sports a mouth full of frightening teeth.
More recently, similar tales have begun to be focused in Gotham City. There, a huge reptilian creature is said to stalk the sewers and harbor and a few bodies have washed up bearing markings consistent with being mauled by a large animal. Curiously and very much not like an animal attack, the victims seem to have been relieved of their belongings before being discarded.
