Heroes is an unusual source in that the characters are appable, with the notable exception of Hiro Nakamura (due to the restriction on time travel abilities), but none of the events transpired. The characters were born in this world, began puberty, and had their powers manifest, just like the mutants in Marvel. Primatech Paper, also known as "the Company", if needed, can be replaced with the numerous groups from Marvel that have sought to experiment on mutants. With the events of the series never happening, the characters are basically just learning their powers and trying to make a place for themselves in this world. There is no need to save the cheerleader to save the world.

Characters from the series are appable as AFCs, FCs, and VFCs.
