2001 AD Thomas and Martha Wayne are killed by a mugger leaving their son Bruce orphaned. Gotham and the rest of the nation mourn.

2002 AD
David Xanatos receives an anonymous gift of a medieval coin worth $20,000. It is the start of his fortune.

2008 AD
In response to an oil spill, Atlantis-Tha-Korr claims a portion of Argentina, establishing the Tierra Nueva Protectorate.

2009 AD
The Mutant Inhibitor Collar is introduced.

2013 AD
Dr. Bruce Banner joins a project to recreate Abraham Erskine's super-soldier formula. When he begins experimenting on himself, a gamma radiation accident turns him into the Hulk. Banner goes on the run looking for a cure. Reed Richards accidentally frees Teth-Adam from Abu Simbel. A few weeks later, Teth-Adam declares Kahndaq's independence from Egypt.

2014 AD
The Ghostbusters are founded. Later that year, they defeat the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Their exploits will later serve as the basis for a franchise.

2015 AD
Tony Stark is attacked and captured in Mazikhandar. He escapes during the Atlantis-Tha-Korr invasion. Mazikhandar is declared an Atlantean protectorate. Construction of New Atlantis begins in earnest. Meanwhile, the Batman is sighted in Gotham.

2016 AD
Mjolnir lands on Earth, along with Thor, who has been banished from Asgard by Odin. Meanwhile, David Xanatos purchases Castle Wyvern and begins moving it to the top of the Eyrie Building in New York as his headquarters.

2017 AD
The Fantastic Four are formed; Spider-Man appears; Professor Charles Xavier founds Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

2018 AD
Dr. Stephen Strange retires from his medical practice after sustaining horrific injuries. Meanwhile, Atlantis-Tha-Korr invades Kahndaq, but is repelled. Mutants are enslaved in Genosha.

2019 AD
A section of SanDiego sinks, causing 13,712 casualties. The remaining portion has since been rebuilt into National City.

2020 AD
Spider-Man dons a black suit. Meanwhile, the Morlocks, a group of homeless mutants who live in the sewers of Brooklyn, are systematically eradicated. Governor Susan Brayden of Washington is elected the 46th President of the United States, and Governor Matthew Ellis of New York is elected the 49th Vice President of the United States.
