1941 AD
Dr. Myron MacLain discovers Adamantium. Studying it for years, he is unable to repeat the process.

1942 AD
The American government begins recruiting volunteers for the Super-Soldier project. Horrified at the newsreel footage of the war in Europe, Steve Rogers decided to attempt to enlist in the American army. Ranked 4-F because he was physically weak and puny, Rogers begins pleading to be accepted. Overhearing his requests, Dr. Erskine arranged for Rogers to be accepted into the project.

1944 AD
British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, impressed with Captain America, Bucky, the first Human Torch, Sub-Mariner, and Toro, urges them to band together as the Invaders for the remainder of the war.

1945 AD
During the last days of the war in Europe, Captain America disappears.

1946 AD
Appalled at the inhumanity they had witnessed during the war years, many of the surviving metahumans begin to live ordinary lives.

1949 AD Armin Zola is released from prison.

1954 AD
Godzilla, a giant kaiju created by the radioactivity from an H-bomb test, attacks Japan and completely destroys Tokyo. The beast is believed to have been killed by the Oxygen Destroyer. Tokyo is subsequently rebuilt. The events are adapted into a series of films.
