Profile
The Green Lantern Corps is a peacekeeping force comprised of members from across the galaxy. These law enforcement officers are commanded by the Guardians, who have divided the Milky Way Galaxy into 3600 sectors. They derive their power from the Central Power Battery on Oa in sector 1, which in turn is powered by the green light of will, as the Guardians believe it to be the strongest source of power.
Supplementary Abilities
Compassion Absorption
Similar to other lanterns natural "purge" of certain power rings, Green Lantern Power Rings have the ability to absorb energy of Indigo Lantern's. This is made possible by the inherent subversion of their will.
Hope Symbiosis
When a Green Lantern Power Ring is in the presence of a Blue Lantern Power Ring, both rings gain a power boost.
Kryptonian Harming
Similar to how the energy from a Yellow Power Ring can be used to charge the powers of a Kryptonian, the light of a Green Power Ring can be used to create artificial Kryptonite energy to harm a Kryptonian or Daxamite.
Supplementary Weaknesses
Mental Instability Protocol
Drug use, neural interference, vertigo, or other forms of mental incapacitation can render the wearer unable to use their ring.
Rage Vulnerability
The red light of rage can corrupt the aura of a Green Lantern, draining their ring of power. This is dependent on the Green Lantern's ability to "understand", "accept", and "control" their rage.
Yellow Impurity
The yellow light of fear can corrupt the aura of a Green Lantern, draining their ring of power. This is dependent on the Green Lantern's ability to "understand", "accept", and "control" their fear.
