The Orange Lantern Corps is unique in that there is but one member that controls the orange light of avarice. Larfleeze, or Agent Orange as he is known, is the only wielder of the orange light of greed. Incredibly powerful, he utilises this energy to create avatars or beings consumed by the orange light. They appear to independently control the orange light, but in truth, they are controlled by Larfleeze. Many eons ago, the Guardians of the Universe agreed to a treaty with Larfleeze to stay clear of Sector 2828, leaving it to the auspices of Larfleeze. When the Controllers attempted to seize the Orange Light and were defeated, Larfleeze decided that the treaty was null and void, leaving him free to raid the Milky Way Galaxy.
Supplementary Abilities
Energy Avatar
Agent Orange is capable of creating Orange Lantern Avatars of the beings he kills, literally stealing their identity post-mortem. These avatars are avarice-corrupted versions of their former selves, possessing no thought pattern besides an insatiable greed. In all other circumstances, they act not as individuals, but collective soldiers to Agent Orange, as they are an extension of his power.
Identity Usurpation
Identity theft acts as the sole "recruitment method" of the Orange Lantern Corps. If an Orange Lantern consumes the body of another being, or ring of another lantern, the Orange Lantern in turn steals their identity.
Supplementary Weaknesses
Blue Energy
Avarice can erode will, but it cannot consume hope. Therefore Orange Lantern Power Rings cannot absorb the energy from a Blue Lantern Power Ring. In fact, an Orange Lantern can be saved from their ring by a Blue Lantern.
Hunger
Orange Lanterns are plagued with an insatiable hunger, which they can never satisfy. This hunger, however, does subside in the presence of an active Blue Lantern Power Ring.
Insatiable Greed
Those who are recruited into the corps are infected with greed like a disease. They are incapable of thought or action other than to take whatever they want from another.
Violet Energy
True Love is not affected by Avarice, thus Orange Lantern Power Rings cannot absorb the energy from a Violet Lantern Ring.
