News Files - Terminator Cutoff

The events of movies The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (theatrical cut) occurred. Additionally, parts of the Sarah Connors Chronicles TV show happened , through Season 2 Episode 9 "Complications". The main alteration to the portion of the show we are allowing is there was no time jump forward as shown in the start of Season 2. This allows us to keep Judgment Day as far in the future as possible.

Some events may have happened, some may not. Some may be altered, such as the lack of time jump and thus no destroyed bank. There will be some leeway for character growth that happened after the cutoff episode, such as James Ellison, Catherine Weaver and John Henry may be further along the story than the cutoff episode. It's a loose cutoff. The players will work together in the sphere to hammer out the details.

This allowed us to have the most possible characters in play along with avoiding some future pitfalls the series leaves us with.

For game purposes, we are in a stabilized timeline. In other words, anyone that comes from the future is from the future of this timeline, not alternate universe creating new timelines by their presence. All the temporal shenanigans have already happened from the future's point of view and anyone sent back in their present is part of history. It is just the most simplified version of things. Try not to think about it too much, just go with the fun of the theme!
