The "primordial soup" from which the living metal of the planet Cybertron was formed in ancient times is known as Sentio Metallico. The complex inner workings of a Cybertronian's living metal body could be described as "biology" rather than "technology", as vital components like a transformation cog, or "t-cog", cannot be built through standard medical practices. The skills and materials required to manufacture these components are so specialised that they are virtually non-existent thanks to the Great War and Cybertron's ongoing supply shortages.
