Profile

Betty Ross is the daughter of the infamous General 'Thunderbolt' Ross. She also the ex-wife of Bruce Banner. She has been had many misadventures in her life, not only as herself, but transformed into the infamous Harpy, and most recently, the Red She-Hulk. Betty Ross has become her own woman, strong and independent. Even then, she has to fight against the rage inside of her, or, at least.....direct her rage.

Betty Ross is a rather homely looking girl with low shoulder length brown hair with low cut bangs over strong thin eyebrows and blue eyes. She has on light toned lipstick going with a more 'naturalistic' look. A black leather jacket over what looks like a shallow v-neck top, light blue tucked into a pair of blue jeans that hover over a pair of newish looking sketchers. Doesn't seem like she spends too much on clothes, but they seem fairly new.

History

Being the daughter of an infamous army general is not as glamorous as it seems. Betty is the daughter of General 'Thunderbolt' Ross. General Ross was a big influence on Betty's life growing up, even tyrannical over Betty's life, and she had to deal with it. all that changed when she met Bruce Banner. She was instantly attracted to him and enjoyed being around him. However, this didn't fit General Ross' path for Betty and forbade her from seeing him. However, she defied him to see Bruce on her own. She found herself falling for him, but eventually, she found Bruce in love with another, so she had to settle for someone else.

However, that was when MODOK kidnapped her and turned her into the Harpy. She was sent to fight the Hulk, and she lost, of course. And Bruce Banner assisted in curing her. Betty ended up dating Bruce for some time, even after General Ross objected, and Betty finally stood up to him. Even while they were dating, they had trouble. The Leader kidnapped Betty and changed her into Red She-Hulk. She eventually escaped, but was clinically deceased after a battle with the leader. She survived, although she was considered clinically dead. Now she is back and is Red She-Hulk!

Betty Ross's personality can be summed up as a sheltered woman who had been kept under the thumb of a tyrannical father. In her case, it was the domineering General 'Thunderbolt' Ross. She desires peace and quiet, but she is very protective of those she cares about. Her father is one such person, because she knows he was only trying to protect her when she was younger.

That all changed when she met Bruce Banner. She felt an instant attraction to him that her father didn't like. Then Bruce was caught in that accident that changed him into the Hulk and she tried to follow him every time he ran. Betty truly loves Bruce Banner and she always will. Only now, however, does she understand what Bruce is going through.

Betty is carefully measured most times and tends to try to be happy, for she knows that if she gets angry, Red She-Hulk will emerge. To a point, Betty is able to control Red She-Hulk, but it's a side of her that has been repressed for a very very long time and didn't wish to admit it.

ACIDIC SALIVA
The saliva Red She-Hulk has is highly acidic and yellow, like her eyes. It is corrosive enough to harm Wolverine. As such it is able to harm individuals as durable as he is and outright dissolve targets such as normal humans and inanimate objects. Wolverine was forced to release her after she spat on him. It certainly did not incapacitate him but it did hurt a lot! Beings like Thor and the Hulk will not likely suffer as much from it. It may sting but not to the extent that it hurt Wolverine. As such it is not a finishing move, rather it is more like a jab to stronger adversaries. To weaker adversaries it can be devastating.

She can shoot her acid up to 50 yards with any semblance of accuracy. Given her strength she can spit much further but it is not likely to be very accurate whatsoever. She is most accurate within 25 yards. In short nothing short of perhaps adamantium or stronger will be outright immune to it, but it is not lethal unless the target is not at base enhanced resistance level. Even then it depends on where the acid strikes. For example a head shot is not going to be as survivable as a leg shot.

ENERGY ABSORPTION
Absorbing from gamma bombs and radiation will cause Red She-Hulk to grow in size. So far she has grown up to 50 feet tall!

INVULNERABILITY
Red She-hulk is able to withstand many attacks, from guns to blades to tank shells to most any attack other than something less than a 500 megaton bomb. usually, Red She-Hulk is subdued with gasses and stunning with electro shock stun attacks rather than defeating her with a head on attack.

STRENGTH
Red She-Hulk's strength is yet to be determined, however, she is able to lift 100 tons with ease.

SUPER LEAPING

Red She-Hulk cannot fly in the strictest sense. Much of her mobility is from the fact that her strength allows her to leap great distances unheard of by normal people. At a maximum of 3 miles per leap, Red She-Hulk can get from fight to fight with relative ease....unless the fight's in the air, then she has to pick her targets and bring them down to earth.

COMBAT SKILLS
Red She-Hulk is a powerful combatant that is strong, confident and agile. She knows a few Martial Arts, but is, by no means, a master at them. It's mostly an amalgam of different styles learned by soldiers. Jack of all trades in martial arts, but master of none. Which means she can use a martial artist's weapon, such as a sai, with the confidence to implement it correctly.

She's also quite familiar in using swords, daggers and blades, and can use them confidently.

She's also quite confident in her use of many guns, such as rifles, pistols and the like.

Also, her strength makes her a very formidable opponent in just about all of her combat skills except her marksmanship.

COMPUTERS
As a scientist Betty knows quite a bit about computers and how to use them. She is not only familiar with how to operate them but also to an extent hacking. She is no master but in a pinch she can come in handy if the security isn't top notch.

COOKING
Betty is no master chef but she can prepare food, make coffee, and other basic every day sustenance related tasks. She isn't one to -stay- in the kitchen but she is able to fend for herself or her loved ones if need be.

SCIENCE

Betty specifically specializes in radiation and all of its' forms. This means that she also understands the sun and other sources of radiation, and how it affects people, mutants, and other metas should she be familiar with their abilities. Otherwise she is educated in physics mostly and to lesser degrees other branches of science.

BANNER
If Betty is ever truly in trouble, and unable to change into Red She Hulk, Bruce Banner will likely come and save her. Of course, in saving Betty, the operation that captured her is likely to be destroyed.

MILITARY ASSETS
Being General Ross' Daughter isn't all doom and gloom. She can use her father's name to get into military resources occasionally and find out things she isn't supposed to know, like using satellites to find to where the Hulk is.

MONEY
Betty has a bank account with an average middle class amount of money in it. As a scientist she has made some money but she is by no means rich! She has roughly 8k at her disposal at a time.

UNIVERSITY

Betty Ross is able to go to the New York University and use their files to look up pertinent information she needs.

ANGER
Betty Ross has a lot of negative emotions inside of her. Resentment over her father's tyrannical attitude while she grew up, his desire to control the direction of her life, the fact that Modok turned her into the Harpy just to get back at the Hulk, and the Leader turning her into what she is now. On top of all of that, she has to control her anger, lest she release the beast inside of her. Once the initial rage passes, she's able to control her Red She-Hulk form a lot better, but the initial rage is when she's most dangerous. She can very easily lash out at whomever is closest if she's not laser focused on the task at hand. Even as much as she loves Bruce Banner, she could even attack him if she's angry enough at him.

BRUCE BANNER
Betty Ross is still very much in love with Bruce Banner, and while he can be her strength, he is also her weakness. if Bruce is in trouble, she WILL go to rescue him.

CHILDREN
Red She-Hulk will not hurt children, and will actually go out of her way to protect them if they're in danger. Then she'll get them out of danger, if need be.

ELECTRO SHOCK
Even as Red She-Hulk Betty can be subdued with electro shock attacks. They can and do paralyze her. The amount of electricity required to incapacitate her while in Red She-Hulk form is around the strength of a lightning strike or stronger. Various weapons and powers would be sufficient to incapacitate her should an adversary be aware.

GENERAL ROSS
Betty and her father have had a very tumultuous relationship. He brought her up under a tyrant's rule and even tried to make her stay away from Bruce Banner. Despite General Ross trying to control her life, she remains defiant against him. However, if he ever got into trouble, he would be there for him. It's really a hot/cold relationship with her father.

PETS
Puppies, Kittens and the like will have Red She-Hulk going out of her way to protect and even save them.

TOXIC GAS

Like the Hulk, Betty can be subdued by various gasses that can either weaken her or knock her out. Any gasses that affect humans will affect her accordingly although it will likely require a bit more to bring her down. However gasses are certainly effective against her.
