Stryker is tall and slim, with salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. He is sharply dressed and stands confidently. Something about his bearing draws people to him. He is a man to follow.

History

History
Stryker was born and raised in Maryland by strict, middle class parents in the Church of Human Potential. Raised to value hardwork and discipline, Stryker was an athlete and honour roll student. He graduated and joined the Army as a medical student. He served overseas and saw first hand the dangers of unrestrained mutants in the field.

Stryker used his charisma and drive to make all the right friends. He did time with experimental soldier programs within the military and top-secret corporate labs. Before long, he was running such programs as a colonel.

During his service, Stryker met and married a young genetic scientist. His life took a turn when their son was born with obvious mutant features. Enraged and convinced the Great Enemy had planted his wife in his life to corrupt him, Stryker murdered his wife and child the night they came home from hospital.

Stryker was arrested by base military police and locked in solitary. In his grief and rage and humiliation, Stryker had an epiphany and realized what God was telling him; his true purpose was to purge the hell spawn from the earth.

Stryker was quietly moved to a top-secret Weapon X facility and offered the chance of a lifetime to become a living weapon against the enemies of the Lord. He underwent cybernetic augmentation and spent the next few years testing and augmenting some of the newest weapons in the fight against the mutant and meta threat, surrounded by like minds.

After wracking up an impressive record of mutant kills and experimental success, as well as becoming known publically as a charismatic and popular evangelist for the Church of Human Potential, Stryker became the Director of the Weapon X program. He was given an honourary Masters of Divinity by Church of Human Potential seminary and was even ordained. With connections far and wide, Stryker carried on the war to save humanity in public and private, openly and covertly.

Personality

Charming, encouraging, inspiring and ruthless, Stryker is a nightmare evangelist and executive. Portraying strong moral convictions and upstanding behaviour toward believers, he is utterly manipulative, calculating and hostile to all things non-human. Stryker is essentially a sociopath in regards to non-humans and is quite capable of shocking immorality toward them without upsetting his self-concept as a good person in the slightest. He is caring and compassionate when needed, fiery and tough when necessary. A golden fiend for sure.

Mental Shield
The adamantium casing around Stryker's brain shields him from detection or manipulation by psychics.

Super Reflexes
Stryker has augmented reflexes that enable him to react faster than humans. Because his brain is still organic, he cannot react at machine speeds.

Super Senses
Stryker's cyborg body provides him with some enhanced senses. He is able to perceive and transmit electromagnetic signals and obtain precise GPS positioning as long as signals are not jammed. He can make precise measurement of distance by sight and precise estimates of weight of familiar objects. He is able to see into the ultraviolet and UV if a source of those radiations is present (he cannot project either one). Finally, he can hear into the ultrasonic, filter and discriminate sounds, but is not more sensitive to sound than an average human. His sense of smell, touch and taste and duller than a normal human.

Super Speed
Stryker's cyborg body allows him to move marginally faster than peak human potential.

Super Strength
Stryker's cyborg enhancements give him superhuman strength. He can lift five tons.

Super Tough
Stryker's cyborg body is made of advanced alloys including adamantium shells around critical human organs. He is able to withstand severe impacts and falls. His body is proof against small arms fire, hardened against EMP and resistant to electrical shock below what is needed to kill a person. Extremely serious injury will activate systems designed to preserve critical organic tissues.

Tactical Systems

Stryker has advanced tactical assist systems that enhancement his combat abilities. Threat analysis, weapon identification, facial recognition, bullet and attack path prediction and other information are overlayed on his senses during combat. This significantly improves his targeting, evasion and situational awareness.

Stryker is an extremely charming man, practised at making people like, trust and listen to him. He presents himself with great confidence, speaks with conviction and manipulates crowds and individuals with great skill. He is skilled enough to be one of the great cult leaders of his time.

Medicine
Stryker is a qualified army surgeon with experience treating all manner of injuries in the field. He also has years of experimental surgery experience for the Army and Weapon X program. Cybernetic implantation has become a specialty of his.

Military
Stryker was a military physician with significant training and field experience. He is versed in light infantry arms, small unit tactics, field medic and hospital operations and operational planning.

Stryker is a practised and effective public speaker, good at inflaming the baser instincts of people. He uses this to great effect as an anti-mutant activist and evangelist. He is very good at reading and playing a crowd and genuiely enjoys doing so.

CHP
Stryker is a leading evangelist and honourary pastor for the Church of Human Potential (CHP). The CHP is a right-wing nationalist anti-mutant/meta protestant splinter from the Southern Baptist Convention. It has attracted many open followers and a lot of less public ones over the years as mutants and metahumans have become increasingly numerous. Stryker's involvement has given him a public platform, recognition, followers and contacts. He speaks regularly for 'pro-human' events and media, and advocates for human first policies and politicians. The CHP defends its First Amendment rights vigorously and fights no-platforming by different groups. The CHP regularly approaches and seeks to convert allied congregations into the fold, and funnels the most suitable to the Reavers and Purifiers.

Generous Donations
Stryker is the beneficiary of generous public and private donations to his incorporate ministry organization. His effective net worth is approximately $100 million. He owns some property, does not live lavishly and never needs to worry about how he will cover his bills.

Vast Connections
Stryker's charisma and mission have given him legions of connections allied to his cause. From judges to janitors, assassins to administrators, militants to medical doctors, Stryker sits in a vast interconnected web of extreme bigots who want earth for humanity. He can call on these connections for access, introductions, information, resources, influence and more. This is perhaps his greatest asset and puts him in touch with people and insights he would never otherwise have.

Weapon X
Stryker is the cureent director of Weapon X, a covert and ruthless secret government agency dedicated to developing and testing assassins to use against mutants, metas and other. Weapon X produces mutant and cyborg subjects for secret use by other government agencies.

Weapon X has state of the art genetic, medical and cybernetic labs and equipment. There are several bases and the program employs scientists, military security and others who live in the black site bases. The program is coveted by human first government and military people in a handful of allied countries and jealously protected.

In addition to equipment, the program provides Stryker with access to scientific personnel and its products, the Weapons themselves. Advanced cyborgs, brainwashed mutants, and others are available. Some are longstanding assistants and companions such as Lady Deathstrike, while others are little more than numbers to Stryker.

Driven To Kill
Stryker's rage and hatred of mutants and metahumans is so intense that not only will he kill, he /must/ kill. Going more than a week without killing at least one of the horde of demons infesting the planet will drive him to distraction. He will become increasingly unable to focus on anything other than finding and killing his next victim as soon as possible. It has been said that he has the second highest kill count of the anti-mutant extremists. While this earns him extraordinary admiration from his supporters who know, it also leaves him very vulnerable. Being a compulsive serial killer leaves tracks that others are sure to follow. And it leaves many who desperately want revenge for the deaths of loved ones.

Hunted
Stryker is shielded from most legal consequences by his contacts, but this does not stop a lot of people from wanting him dead. He is a figure of nearly universal hatred among mutants and many metahumans. Many would be happy to see him dead, and quite a few would be happy to try and make it happy. Stryker is constantly accompanied by security, which often includes Lady Deathstrike, and various Purifiers.

Raging Fanatic
Stryker is a raging fanatic. He is totally intolerant of pro-mutant and co-existence viewpoints. He /hates/ mutants and metahumans with a conviction and passion that precludes working with them unless they are completely enslaved to him, such as with Weapon X experiments. His disregard for mutant and metahuman well-being is total, pervasive and quite public. He will say and advocating for disturbing 'solutions' and will not back down or recognize the personhood of mutants or metahumans. The cause consumes him all the time and everything he does is to further it. At this point, his behaviour is pathological and leaves him prone to fits of rage, violence and cruelty when provoked. It also leaves him unable to let go of slights or setbacks at the hands of mutants or metahumans.

Unskilled Melee

While Stryker is strong, in melee or unarmed he is completely unskilled. Simple punches and brute force are the limit of his ability. Due to his weight, he does not use kicks and cannot engage in light footwork. As such he dodges poorly. A skilled martial artist in close quarters is his worst combat nightmare.
