Date of Scene: 13 January 2020
Location: Sanctum Eljudnir, Club Mjolnir
Synopsis: A curious mousy girl ventures into the Sanctum Eljudnir, she doesn't even realize the very real threat on her life, before Hela banishes her from her sacred hall.
Cast of Characters: Kaida Connolly, Hela

Kaida Connolly has posed:
It was a club. Big clubs that are busy mean that they often have 'expired' food that they throw out or just can't use due to health codes. Kaida, though, knows that expired doesn't mean expired and often very good food is tossed aside. So, Kaida does what she does best, find a way into the kitchen area and then find a way to sneak in for a normal sized person. If Rick or Sara from the house can come here with her and slip out a few bits of food that was gonna be thrown out anyway, everyone eats better.

Of course, now she's slipping along a wall and then sliding down a pipe and hmming as she considers her path. She looks up and then back and then grumbles to herself, "I can't believe how deep this goes..." She says to no one in particular as she stands atop the pipe, "I have ta be gettin' close though." Her accent a remenant of her father.

Finally, she finds a hole just big enough and pushes her way through, flopping out on the other side and standing up with a blink.

Slowly, she looks around and for the moment doesn't see anyone. Slowly, her hand grasps her makeshift steel sword (sword by her standards anyway) and she swallows, "Now, this is hardly a kitchen..." She idly keeps her sword at the ready as she starts to slowly creep around the edge of the room, silent as well...a Kaida.

Hela has posed:
The room that Kaida manages to sneak her way into by virtue of tiny size and navigating unmapped pipes, isn't a very welcoming one. In fact, it doesn't look like it belongs to any club at all. It's first and foremost eerie silent, somewhat deathly if one is quite attentive to the 'feel' of a place. There are striking murals of dark, icy terrain, with swirling mists. Frozen Rivers. A glimpse of a giant wolf through those mists...

Actually, the mists aren't quite painted, they seem to be literally swirling about the walls, and that giant wolf? It's eyes are glowing a foreboding red glow, and it looks to be moving along the wall, getting lower through the mists and closer to the floor.

Then there's the obvious alter at one end of the room, with the ash tree and dragon head looking down upon it. That fighting ring like area marked with the Valknut at the other end...maybe Kaida shouldn't linger in this room? If she listens very well, she may hear gusts of howling winds, despite not feeling any winds in the room.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
Slowly, courage builds enough for Kaida to step away from the wall only for her to look back and stare with squinting eyes at the wall. She holds her sword in the direction of htat mural, staring at the way that wolf moves and her nose twitching, small whiskers moving a little along the side of her nose. She takes a few more steps away from the wall and considers that strange mural. Is it a hologram? A projection?

She turns her gaze then to the strange fighting ring and that altar. Her eyes going from one to the other. She can't make everything out though so she simply leaps from the floor up to the top of one of those tables, looking at the ring better from her position and then looking over toward the altar, "Oye...what 'ave we here? This ain't a club I ever 'eard of." The Irish lilt of her voice carrying not far mainly due to her size.

Hela has posed:
It is entirely possible there's an elaborate holographic projection system installed, but then a disembodied voice seems to be carried on one errant gust of wind. It takes paying attention to register it, but out of the whistle of wind blowing, words could be made out. "You... are... tresspassing..." it is spoken as fact, rather than warning. In a different section of the wall, the swirling mists part to reveal a sinister looking castle, dominating the view, it's gate slowly opening. An ethereal green light shimmers from beyond that gate.

The wolf in the meantime disappeared in the mists again, and another gust of wind follows, this time the words are more aggressive, demanding, "LEAVE." The voice is there and gone again.

It's almost like the very room demands Kaida to go away, as if it knows she doesn't belong here.

Kaida Connolly has posed:
Turning her gaze to where the voice comes from, thanks to her mousey ears, she can hear more than the average person. She then slowly goes wide eyed as the castle appears and a gate opens. She half expects a person or being to step out of that gate. She takes a step back as a gust of wind carries the word 'LEAVE' at her before she gestures her sword in that direction and stands firm. She slowly narrows her eyes before she finally whips her blade to the side to look around carefully before she shivers and nods, "Alright..." She states softly, "...no food in here anyway..." She nods her head and then looks back at the castle and gestures with her sword.

"Fine, I get it, I'm leavin'." She then hops down off the table, "Strange club anyway...terrible atmosphere." She nods and then jogs over toward the hole she got in through ahd stops briefly to aim her sword back in the direction of the castle, "You 'ear that! Your club is creepy!" She nods and then turns back to the hole to leave.

Hela has posed:
"Good choice," comes a voice from right infront of the altar, and should Kaida turn to look, it seems she's no longer alone in this room. Nobody came, no doors opened, unless one considers the castle's gate on the mural. But now Kaida finds herself standing before Hela, assuming she hadn't departed already. "Of course there's no food here, it's not a kitchen." Hela remarks with impatience, before motioning with her hand towards Kaida, "just one more thing before you leave..."

Kaida Connolly has posed:
A blink and the mouse girl whips around. Her sword outstretched and aimed at Hela in a weird mix of something that Hela would likely recognize and fencing. She stares at Hela for short moment before saying, "Ah, you show yourself!" She blinks, "Whoa, you're a big 'un but you don't scare me." She shakes her head as she aims her blade right at Hela and then states, "I'm leavin', just as your little tricks said but what do you 'ave to say before I go." She squints her eyes, steeling her nerves that have her heart racing (fast even for a mouse), "Or ya lookin' for a fight?"

Hela has posed:
What Hela has to say turns out to be some incomprehensible language, which turns out to be a spell, as she points her finger at Kaida and everything stops. It becomes hazy. Everything she just experienced, it feels like a dream, a very vivid dream but a dream nonetheless. The number one indicator being, she finds herself waking up from a sleep, and she's not in the room she thought she was in. Instead, she's wherever she normally calls a 'home' when she goes to sleep.
