Cast of Characters: Polaris, Magneto

Polaris has posed:
It was after Jamie had departed, and as the throne room emptied out, that the Princess lingered in the hallway. The green haired woman paced, clearly waiting for her father to exit, or at least to sense that she was still lingering outside. She tilted her head back, twisting a paper clip between her fingers that she'd picked up from the floor after a passing secretary breezed by and dropped it.

She exhaled a breath, tapping her toes as she waited for her father appear. She needed to speak with him regarding the letter that she'd gotten a few weeks ago. Lorna pursed her lips in thought, Roberto had helped keep the green haired woman from speeding off, telling her to wait. To think. To investigate. Otherwise, she'd have surely flown off to Argentina already as she'd said she had planned to..

Magneto has posed:
Erik, or at one time, Max walked out of the throne room. The look on his face was adequately pleased. Things were coming together with the Brotherhood.

The clap of his leather soles on the tile echoed through the hall. "Lorna." He knew she was lingering here. So the King approaches the Princess, allowing her to voice herself as they walked to his office.

Polaris has posed:
Lorna exhaled a breath as her father appeared, some of the tension leaving her shoulders as she flashed him a smile and fell into step beside him. She'd foregone changing into something more formal, though a few maids had offered to help her change if she'd needed to. She still wore the loose fitting linen button up shirt, and wide legged trousers. Her sandals tapping lightly with each step. "Dad, I uhm.. I wanted to apologize for my message before, the one that I left with Ferris. I didn't want to leave the message with anyone that had any details because.. well.." She exhaled a breath, reaching up to push her hair back from her face.

"It's a family matter.. maybe. A personal one at the least. Roberto told me that I shouldn't go rushing off to conclusions and that I should slow down... he's pretty convinced that it's all fake anyways.." She bit her lower lip, trailing off as they headed to her father's office. Only once the door had shut behind them both did she finally get to the point.

"I got a letter in the mail, from someone claiming to be my sister. My twin."

Magneto has posed:
Magneto didn't hold any grudge against Lorna for her actions. It was something he hadn't planned for, Lorna finding out about the further exploits of the Brotherhood this soon. "It is fine, dear." He says with a soft smile. But that smile fades as someone claims to be her twin has contacted her. "Who else have you told about this?" He asks, not that he had covered it up, he was assessing the situation, learning all he could so that he could approach it in the best way.

Polaris has posed:
Lorna pursed her lips, taking a moment to think. "Rogue knows I got a letter in the mail, but I didn't get around to talking to her... She'd just gotten back from space. I just.." She exhaled reaching up to pinch the bridge of her nose. At least she'd hadn't been so wound up that she'd blurted it out everywhere? She still had doubts herself, but it wasn't beyond the realm of possibility either. Her father hadn't been in her life at all growing up, why not another child? Why not another sister?

"No one else besides Roberto. The letter was asking for help, for me to go to her in Argentina. She wants to meet me, and how she's been looking for me for years." She glanced back to her father, the man that had //sworn// there were no other known secrets that he was keeping from her..

Magneto has posed:
Magneto's eyes flare as he sees the context of her looks. "You think I did this?" His tone is surprised and just a little hurt that she thought he hadn't been truthful. "Well, this is news to me. I had only been aware of you. And before you ask, no, there should not be any younger brothers or sisters for you, unless someone's taken my DNA and done devious things with it."

Polaris has posed:
Lorna exhaled a breath, her shoulders falling. "And ... did you only know of me because of the plane? Did my mother reach out to you when she had me? Do you think that this is possible? I mean, she was married there's just.." She bit her lower lip, fidgeting with her weight rocking back on her heels and forward again as she stood uneasily in the look her father sent her way.

"I just want to know if you think it's possible father. I.. I grew up thinking I was alone. If I have another sister.." She trailed off, her eyebrows pinched as she folded her arms over her chest, her shoulders curling forward as she dropped her gaze to the floor.

Magneto has posed:
The mention of Suzana took Magneto aback, just a bit. "Your mother did not mention you, but she was pregnant atone point." His eyes almost roll into his head as he finished that statement. "Obviously."

"Your mother stopped our...endeavors suddenly. I did not become aware of you until the plane. So, the chances are more than slim and far from impossible." The King was definitely taken aback by the situation at hand. "Argentina of all places..." He grumbles.

Polaris has posed:
Lorna stepped closer to her father as soon as he breathed a word of her mother. The youngest of the Magnus clan was always desperate for stories of her family, of her mother. Anything that gave her so much as a glimpse into the woman that had had an affair with the Master of Magnetism. She bit her lower lip, her eyebrows lurching upward. "So you're saying.. it's possible it's not all a hoax?" Her voice was small, and soft. Roberto hadn't been willing to truly entertain that it was real. He thought it a cruel prank. Or something worse..

"I mean.. if the plane hadn't happened.. everything would've been different then.. I was there.. you found me. But if I had a sister.. and our parents as far as the law cared were dead.. And the Danes didn't want both of us.. then.. it's possible she'd be separated from me, right?"

Magneto has posed:
Erik watched as Lorna got closer to him. He did not have many stories of Suzana as he had of Magda. "As much as it's improbable, it isn't impossible. It requires many factors to fall in the right place."

Lorna's last question to Magneto was difficult to answer. "I do not know much about the spa oak services system, but I would not think they would separate siblings in a situation like yours." He reaches out his hand to meet hers, squeezing firm. "If you want my help, I will do what I can for you."
