Mercy Thompson has posed:
Central Park. new York is a fascinating place, no matter if anyone's on two legs, four paws, two wings or however anyone chooses to get around it. With the grass, water and trails and trees, it's a welcome relief in a city like New York City. That explains why Mercy Thompson...resident coyote mechanic, is out here, jogging in coveralls. She's got a furry friend with her, somebody's dog decided to stroll along with her. Oh that coyote woman's trouble. Totally and utterly trouble. Or maybe it's the breakfast sandwich Mercy's got in her hand? Quite probably. Little after nine, see. Right in the wheelhouse for food.

So Mercy stops jogging, comes to a bench and sits. There's the happy thudding of tail, before canine friend wanders off. Just Mercy here now. Coveralls with her name embroidered on it. And oh yeah, work boots, too, steel toe work boots, and her hair's tied back into braids as well

Starfire has posed:
On the next bench over is an orange-skinned woman with... a... huge... worm... sitting next to her, licking out a can of tuna. She beams happily at her strange pet (who has some kind of harness on it, with a leash attached to her hand. And the alien is drinking a thick yellow beverage that looks suspiciously like mustard as she slurps. "You should go play more, silly Silkie," she cooooos as she reaches over to scritch the love bug's head.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's used to the strange and the unexpected. Seee. She is trouble. on two legs (or four paws). Looking over, she's trying...oh, Mercy is trying, to make sense of it all. Okay. So....that's a thing. Curiosity getting the better of her, she strolls over and looks to the worm, and smiles. "Hey" she says simply. Not much of an awesome greeting. But. Mercy'll take it thanks.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r glances up at you. "Oh, hello there! I was just getting the Silkie for some fresh air." She rises to her rather tall stature. "I am Koriand'r of theo Titans," she states, extending her right hand (the left hand holding the leash of the Silkie who's now drooling on the bench.)

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"So Kori then?" Mercy asks with a smile with a look to Silky. "That's a worm isn't it?" she adds. Not that she's judging any of it....really she's used to this. Glancing over to the worm as Mercy grins. "Okay see I didn't think giant worms are pets really. More used to worms being on the end of fish hooks, ya know?" Mercy asks.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r smiles softly. "Yeah - but my Silkie loves to eat tuna," she notes, geaturing to the empty can. "He's from my homeworld." She giggles osftly as she looks at you. "Your name is Mercy?" she asks, gesturing to the nametag on your coveralls. "You can join me if you want. Want some?" she asks as she offers the cup she was drinking from that still looks like she's chugging mustard (and this close, it even smells liek it).

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Mustard?" mercy asks with a grin. "Sure I'll join ya. So your worm likes tuna. There's a food truck that roams the park and sells hot tuna sandwiches" she offers and slides onto the bench looking pleased. Good deed done for the morning. "So besides giving a worm food, what else are you up to?"

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shrugs. "I am... patrolling the park to see if there's any troublemaking..." she notes softly as she murmurs, "Or I'm lazy and am just enjoying the sun - there's not a lot of it lately." She shrugs as she is really not wearing a whole lot, and it's not really the weather for a short sundress.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Ah" Mercy says with a look over Kori. "I'm Mercy" she offers, with a nod. Mercy's wearing her overalls and work boots, and pendant. Unlike Kori, Mercy's dressed for the rest of the year, though she gestures to mustard. "What's up with that mustard?" she adds with a wave to the mustard can.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r shrugs. "It tastes good," she states. "I taste things differently from hew-mons," she states, drawling out the word to emphasize that she is different(TM). "I try not to offend, but your kind tends to get up in arms about all sorts of things."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Don't I know it" Mercy says sliding onto the bench more, shaking her head. "Okay then. You ever had coffee?" she asks with a grin. "Coffee's good. Maybe coffee and mustard?"
