Nightingale has posed:
     Sometimes, even the most conscientious students had to cut loose, just a tiny bit. As the saying goes, all work and no play makes for a dull person. Thankfully, Shannon was skipping her morning's classes--and she wasn't alone! Oh, no. It was with the full knowledge--and apparently blessing as well--of the school's guidance counselor, Kitty! And where would two ladies go while playing hooky?

     Why, the local ice cream parlor, of course!

Kitty's here too. Hey. Nothing going on for the moment. And oh she realy wants ice cream. Lockheed too. Which explains why Kitty trails Lockheed in, though today he's looking like a cat. Picking him up, Kitty sets him in her lap. She glances to Shannon with a grin, Lockheed poking his head above the table as if wanting ice cream too....as Kitty laughs.

"See. I said this is okay, it's something about a guidance session over Baskin Robbins. Mmm.

Looking over to the employees, Kitty grins and pulls out her purse. "So what ice cream would you like. And don't say all of it" Kitty grins. Ninja kitty with a dragon eating ice cream with Shannon

Shannon chuckles, and hums a classic rock tune. Some might recognize it as 'I Love Rock 'n Roll'. However, what comes out of Shannon's mouth is entirely different. "I love rocky road!" Yep. If it was ooey, gooey, sweet, and involved chocolate, marshmallows, and walnuts, she was all for it! "So, ummm... what's this about a counseling session? Last one who tried that with me was Jubilee. Well, there was that one time we had some hot cocoa in my dorm, but that was /months/ ago..."

Kitty can't help but laugh, a grin as her eyes twinkle with an amused look. "Okay that's it. You're gonna go as Joan Jett now. What, are you starting a band or something?" she giggles, getting up to order, yes, Rocky Road. Well, for Shannon. Kitty's unsure just what she wants.

So, she looks over the menu once she's on her feet and smiles. I'm gonna kick myself for this, but you want a regular bowl of ice cream, or...or...? Kitty asks looking from Shannon over to the menu. Kitty can just see it now, Shannon having a bucket's worth of ice cream.

Kitty gives the winged girl a quiet look. "If you do and you get brain freeze, don't blame me" Kitty says tapping her nose before getting in line. Lockheed jumps to the floor then comes to rub against Shannon's ankle. See. Kitty may treat him like a cat but....hey. The purse goes back into Kitty's pocket. Instead, Kitty just waits patiently in line. Yet she glances over to Shannon. Kitty apparently has hijinks planned. Oh, Shannon wants Rocky Road? Kitty can get that.

Nightingale has posed:
     Lockheed taking to Shannon like this was definitely a new one on the winged girl. He had never really paid her much mind before, and she looks down at the little dragon-cat with surprise. "Well, hello there!" A light smile quirks her lips into a winsome Cupid's bow curve, and she scritches the would-be feline gingerly beneath the chin. "You've never been this affectionate to me, what gives, hmmm?"

     Kitty is given a raised brow, and an impish little grin. Brain freeze? Buckets of Rocky Road? Hells to the yes, please!

Kitty's not wondering why Lockheed's gone all affectionate. Instead she's going to give Shannon exactly, precisely, what she wants. A bucket of Rocky Road. Yes. Buckets. Shan said as much.

So Kitty waits in line, as Lockheed decides to jump in her lap and relax some..e.

Kitty looks over the menu and isn't sure what she'd like to order really. She's been here before and had a different flavor each time.

That trend carries on as she orders a mix of ice creams....and....yes....a quite literal bucket of Rocky Road for Shannon. Great, the winged student started this, so Kitty's off and running with it now!
