Abruzzo
Date of Scene:	13 May 2020
Location:	Caradenza winery, Italy
Synopsis:	Alexis and Sam travel to Italy to meet the other Caradenzas. Papa and Nonna instantly take a liking to Sam in spite of the fact that he speaks little Italian and is an American. Nonna likes that Sam's not afraid of hard work as a farm boy, Papa likes the fact that Sam wants to do right by the family.

Prismatic has posed:
    The room Sam slept in, he would find, had the longest bed they had. Most of the mattresses were older, and 'comfortably lumpy', btu this was newer and smelled of sweet majoram - somewhat because when this wasn't a guest room, this was where Nonna would dry her herbs en masse along the rafters. The blanket was hand-crocheted in a variety of rustic, earthy colors, the headboard hand-hewn, and the sheets were soft -- if slightly medicinal smelling.

    Sam would awake with the sun peering through the round window above the headboard, the wind coming in off the veranda outside and carrying with it the clucking of chickens and bleating of sheep.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit as he gets up stretching a bit. He looks around the room and smiling. He scans out the window for a moment, and hmms. He should have asked about the bathroom and showers times for the morning, so he will put some pants on to head out and check

Prismatic has posed:
    "Buongiorno, giovanotto." greets Papa, who is sitting on the veranda -- the guest room was off the porch, in order to give others a modicrum of privacy.

    He's already dressed, wearing slacks, a button shirt and a vest, his hat on the table along with a caraffe of what smells like very strong coffee. He has his own cup -- and there is one, turned over, presumably for Sam.

    "Allegra likes the ballet, today she is /Sleeping Beauty/." he jokes, feeling himelf particularly clever, though the English was practiced enough that he might have thought of it long before Sam got up.

    The newspaper rattles mirthfully.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit and grins "Well, at home, we have classes not cows to milk." He tells him. He grins and says "So, may I ask is it ok if I take my shower now, or is it someone's time in the shower?" Yea it is a sign of growing up in a huge house.

Prismatic has posed:
    "Shower? Shower... shower... ah! Yes, shower! No, no Sun today. Shower... ehh. Maybe evening?" Papa trails off a moment, and the newspaper comes down ashe rubs his chin, and the stubble on it -- and that's when another door opens, and Allegra steps out. She's in bare feet, her hair still damp, her skin glowing. She was dressed down, far more casually today in an easy skirt and blouse, and she gives a slight smile.

    "Buongiorno, Papa." she kisses his cheek, and then comes up to Sam. "Morning, Sam. I hope you slept all right?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthriesmiles a bit and is getting ready to pantomime taking a shower, but luckily Alexis saves him from this, and he looks over, and offers her a smile and kisses her on the cheek "Slept ok, was wondering if there was a shower schedule I needed to watch for or if I could go grab one, if needed to use a specific shower or what not.

Prismatic has posed:
    "Oh! Yeah, no, there's four showers on the property, you and I are sharing one, Nonna and Papa have one, my uncle has one in his apartment and there is one in the worker's house, I'm so sorry! I should have showed you -- "

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles and leans in and kisses her ear "Wish I had known that." He teases a bit to her and says "Well let me grab a quick one and we will see what is up for today, any plans for us?"

Prismatic has posed:
    Alexis gives just the slightest smile, and reaches up to ruffle Sam's hair. "Go take a quick shower, and I'm going to put on pants, and we'll see what kind of trouble we can get into? Lorenzo has to make a run into town, we could accompany him to the village.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthriewill head to take a squatting shower. He hmms and may have to ponder getting a camper or something if they start coming out here on a regular bases to find things more Sam sized. He will hurry through his shower, and dressed coming out in jeans and a dresser shirt, not a polo but decent. He comes looking for Alexis smiling.

Prismatic has posed:
    As Sam comes out, the family is on the veranda, enjoying the view of the valley shaded by the table-grape leaves as they hang over the 'back porch'. There is toast, and eggs, and panchetta, and hard, sharp cheeses, along with some fresh fruit. Nonna is fanning herself with her apron, though when Sam comes out Papa and Lorenzo give a bright laugh, and Allegra is trying to hide her laughter and embarrassment.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises wondering what he missed he does consider checking his fly but thinks Alexis would give him the clue to look. He walks over to give Alexis a kiss, and then starts to make himself a sandwich "I missed something?"

Prismatic has posed:
    "Nonna was admiring your height." Lorenzo answers, which causes another roun of giggling from the old lady, and embarrassment from Allegra before the latter mutters "Why me. Whhhyyyy."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie puts an arm around Alexis, and a brow raises a bit "Asking how the height difference works for us?" He will ask her as he munches a bit of his sandwich.
