Cast of Characters: Shredder, Rage

Shredder has posed:
It's threatening rain overhead, but the air is still warm and muggy as clouds roll in from the west. Still, business continues as it normally does in Mutant Town. Right now Oroku Saki is just heading in to the Bushwick Mutant History Museum for the second time in a month. Oroku Industries helped to establish the museum, and it is run primarily by volunteers. Many of the are members of "The Family" a mutant community group that looks out for the needs of the mutants in the area. Of course, there's rumors at this point that they have a darker side, but most mutants are happy to have them around all the same.

Rage has posed:
Making her way through mutant town is Andrea Jackson. She's dressed in a new windbreaker, a pair of skinny jeans and a swishy t-shirt beneath it. It looks like she may be on her way to obtain a coffee at the local cafe before heading over to Club Evolution. She is without her bodyguard this afternoon as he was assigned to another job earlier, and as a high school graduate, she is not really /needing/ the backup all the time either. As she passes the museum, she gives a glance over towards it curiously.

Shredder has posed:
"Mr. Oroku!" A large, friendly man who is obviously a mutant gives a whildely big hug to the rather clean cut businessman as he reaches it. Rocky is a staple of the area, made famous when he took a bullet to save Dazzler from an attack in the same said coffee shop several months back. He won't shut up about it, either. He has spikes on shis shoulders, which accounts for why he wears a tank top. "Come to see the new exhibit?" he asks. He guides him into the door of the small museum, wedged between two other busiensses like so many other things in this area.

Rage has posed:
The name causes Andrea to pause. Why does that sound so familiar for? She turns her head to watch the man be led into the museum, brows furrowing. As her arms fold over her chest, she shifts her jaw to the side. Like a light bulb, she remembers. The memories flooding back to her. The blackmail. The Japanese man. Tyler. The blood.

Her fingers curl into tight fists as her breathing picks up in her chest. Rage. Anger. Pushing off her foot, she follows after, keeping a bit of distance and pulling her sunglasses over her eyes.

Shredder has posed:
While Saki does not show the same level of phsyical affection, he smiles politely. "Yes, I hear your construction team has done fine work," he tells Rocky. The museum is a tight space to be certain, but it is aptly located in the mutant community. Inside there are several displays and artifacts. A section dedicated to Magneto with a replica of his helmet. It talks about his life and how he has significantly improved the lives of mutants. A map of Genosha is on the wall beside a life size portrait. Another section discusses the nature of the X gene, explaining the known science behind why one gene manifests into several different types of powers.
Upstairs, which is where the new exhibit stands, reveals an interactive timeline that starts with the first known mutant back in Egypt, moving forward to the first influx of the mutant gene, the oppressions they've faced and the victories for their rights all the way up to the present day of 2028. It's currently playing through the presentation, lit up on the unknown nature of the middle ages and possible connections between mutants and claims of witches.

Rage has posed:
As she moves through the museum, Andrea plays the part of the normal, boring customer. She has a phone in her hands, holding it up in front of her as if focused on a text message. A few pictures is snapped, clicking here and there and trying to catch the Japanese man as well to review later. She gives a small sniff at the air at times, as if trying to catch a scent or two. Though her heightened senses are incredibly weak in this form, sometimes she gets lucky if she can push herself. Is it him?

Shredder has posed:
While he seems an average business man, Saki is a very alert man. He isn't one a person sneaks around easily. He glances over his shoulder. "Oh, it seems you have another young mind eager to learn, here, Rocky," he says with a smile. It doesn't seem that he's immediately recognized Andrea with the glasses on.

Rocky turns, "Hey there, welcome to the Mutant Cultural Museum," he says in a friendly voice. He's really tall, probably about 6'8", and the tanned skin is ripped with muscles. "Do you have any questions while you're here?" he asks.

Rage has posed:
Keeping her head down, Andrea doesn't lift her eyes up to meet the other man. Though she has expensive shades on and longer bangs, she doesn't want to give away too much of her features. She shifts herself a bit to the side, continuing to tap away at her phone. "Nope." She says simply, adding a bit of 'valley' to her voice. Just another dumb girl. She starts to amble away, heading towards Magneto's display. She shifts her phone some so that the camera on it faces her, holding it just a bit at an angle to see past her shoulder. Just in case she is being followed.

Shredder has posed:
Saki studies the evasive teen for a moment, and then looks back to Rocky. "It really is quite the display," he compliments. "I particularly enjoy the choices in color and lighting.

Rocky, on the other hand, calls out, "Well, if you need any help, feel free to ask!" He is one of those people who might look intimidating due to his build and height, not to mention mutations that are spikes on his shoulders, but his overtly friendly behavior can dissuade people. Probably something he's needed to practice to keep from scaring people.

Rage has posed:
Lifting her hand upwards, Andrea gives one of those over the shoulder waves. She's good. Really. She heads into the Magneto display, looking about as she reads some of the plaques. She at times, subtly, will glance over her shoulder towards the large Japanese man. After a few minutes of wandering, she starts making her way for the exit, tucking her phone into her pocket. She has a frown upon her face, hands sliding into her pockets, head ducked down.

Shredder has posed:
The display finishes, and Saki with Rocky descend the steps, and Saki puts a crips $100 bill in the donation jar, still speaking as Andrea exits.
"Scared of being here," Rocky suspects aloud. "Lots of them like that, she's probably a mutant and hasn't told people yet," he nods to himself.

"Perhaps," Saki says, not contesting the matter as she walks out the door. He has his own suspicions, but he keeps them to himself.

    "Perhaps."
