Cast of Characters: Zach Daniels, Castiel

Zach Daniels has posed:
Malls. They are places where things are bought, big shops. Zach's well aware of this as he's planted at the food court, at a table. Sure, he's cheap but he did splash out on a sandwich and coffee. Or, as he puts it, life's essential things. Dressed in black with his baseball cap on, Zach's settled into a seat. Done roaming the mall for a while. He's got a few bags by his seat, he's bought new (black) clothes.

Castiel has posed:
Ah, malls. Yay.. not. However he's tracked his subject down here. Thanks goodness, his abrupt arrival goes unnoticed. Once there he looks around. Fortunately, Zach was easy to find. Or unfortunately, depending what your perspective was.

Sadly, Castiel wasn't a patient, or subtle man.

Digging his hands into his trench coat pockets his approaches. "Hm, so what have done to end up here."

Zach Daniels has posed:
See, Zach's not hard to find...nah, not in the least. All black, baseball cap on, black gloves. He stands out and then some. Looking over the food court, Zach snaps his gaze to Casttiel.

"What? I walked here" he says. yeah totally missing the question Zach, good first impression, really...

Castiel has posed:
Sigh. This was going to be one of those things. Castiel let's himself join Zach, leaning on the table with his arms, and sighs. "Listen, my charge asked that you be checked out first. You know, I am getting very tired of all you angels. You can tell Michael to give it up. I am not saying I'm sorry."

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach takes off his cap. Oh, great...

"You and I are on the same page. I hate that good for nothing, two faced, lying, holier than thou asshole" Zach says coldly. Watching Castiel, zach gives a weary sigh. Zach's getting how Castiel feels. He's right there too with his hatred of angels, too.

Shaking his head to Castiel listens. "What is your anger with angels, just who are you anyhow, and why is your charge looking for me?"

Castiel has posed:
Cas chuckles grimly. "Well, you have the words right. I still am not convinced. But you are getting closer. Tell me, what did Michael do to you?" As for the other.. "Dean." As though it explains everything.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach runs a hand through his hair. "What'd Michael do? Let's see" he mutters. "I was left behind and abandoned" he says with coldness in his voice. "I got forgotten about and that" Zach says, "is why I'm here"

Zach cants his head to Castiel. "I have the right words? It's a part of me"

See he has feathers under his clothes, true...

Castiel has posed:
Castiel scoffs. "You were forgotten." Then he sighs. "You were forgotten. Someone didn't think you were not important enough to care about, just as long as more were dead on the other side." Castiel sighs. "How long have you been here? Let me guess - you did not have a name, did you? Can I ask you, what name did you pick?" Castiel had never picked his name. He wondered, would I still choose it?

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach smiles a little. "Zacharias, Zacharias Rafael Daniels" he says, digging in the bags and pulling out a bottle of orange juice, sipping on it. "Five hundred years" he says once the bottle's set down. "I've only been around people for a few years though, I kept away from everyone"

Castiel has posed:
"Not bad. Raphael?" Castiel nods, muttering. "Let me guess. For the first 100 to 200, you hid, hoping for someone to take you back. Then 100 year angry because nobody even suspected you here on earth." He pauses. "And the rest of the time you figured how are going to get back on.. let me guess, Raphael? Getting back on him. How am I doing?"

Zach Daniels has posed:
There's a laugh from Zach, "No, actually. I decided to live down here after they forgot about me. I was just one of thousands of holy soldiers in the angelic armies. I decided if they didn't want me I'd make my own life" Zach offers and looks to Castiel. "Why. Why do you think I want back in Heaven so much? Honestly the truth is I don't. They burned their bridges with me. The world down here has more exciting and interesting things to offer" Zach says. Like....well...name anything Zach hasn't tried yet. Which is about 98% of things

Castiel has posed:
*Snorts*

"And when did I say you wanted to go back?" Again, Castiel laughs in a dark manner. "No. You stated that you wouldn't go back. But revenge does not mean going back." He runs a hand on the back of his neck. "I can't go back. And the more I learn, the more I can't go back. Something is wrong. But you don't need to learn about that. What are you going to do?" He had said he would check him out. And check him out he will.

Zach Daniels has posed:
"Why?" Zach asks quietly. "I mean why not, I don't ever want to go back. It's far more interesting here and I'm not made to fight evil all the time. I can find who I am" Zach adds. Sipping his OJ more, Zach considers it. "What am I going to do? Explore this shiny new thing I've found, there's so much to see and do"

Yes, he's still in that exciteable puppy phase where it's all new and shiny. Even the boring mundane things. "I'm going to stay down here, figure out who I am and what I want to do. I've made friends down here and I can fly as much as I want" Zach offers.

Castiel has posed:
"Bah, you'll do" Castiel runs his hands through his hair. "What is it like? Without the choir always teasing at your brain? Without that longing this is what God would do, except.." He shuts up.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach chews thoughtfully on his food, considering what to answer. Truthfuly, he's no idea. Instead, hey, he's happy with the life down here thankyouverymuch. He's got a life, and friends, and access to bagels and cookies and chocolate and....shiny exciting things too. So he stays quiet for a moment before speaking. "No idea, I've not had any voices in my head for years"

Spoken like a sane person, Zach...

Castiel has posed:
"Hmf" Castiel grumbles. "Sometimes I hear the whole choir, but at a distance. Other times, silence. I do not know which I prefer."

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach wonders what it'd be like, mostly with the choir in his head. Fortunately he's not got that issue. Still though. Still....it does make him wonder. "Honestly? At times, I'd think I'd go nuts with a chior in my head but...I've not had them in my head for centuries. I'm curious now what it'd be like, honestly"

Castiel has posed:
He runs a hand through the back of his hair. "It's torment. God wants me to know what I am missing. Sometimes I can hear the place where my voice belongs. And when it is quiet, I wonder, it is gone? Will I never hear it again? It's madness. And yet, I can't go back. Not yet."

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach feels like he got off easy,...kinda, sorta, maybe with the whole no angelic choir. "Yes but..." Zach starts and shuts up, he's not sure how to say what he's thinking. "Why would they...forget?" he asks. "Am I really that forgettable or something?" he wonders and settles back into his seat, the rustling of wings can be heard as he shuffles his wings. Great, they forgot about him...and are tormenting his new acquaintance?

Castiel has posed:
Ah. Why.

He snakes his hand around his mouth, trying to buy himself some time. "You were nameless. In the end of the battle, sadly, you didn't mean much. Sorry. I am just as bad. For all you know, I could have forgotten you." His voice dips. "There are many things I am finding about now."
