Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Ravenna Levesque, Indiana Jones

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
Early evening has people slowly trickling into Lux. Some people are coming to eat in the attached restaurant for an early dinner, while others are trying to secure a table for their guests later in the evening. The Bartender isn't around, however Ravenna is filling in for the moment. Even though she's the Sommelier, she has no problem pouring drinks when she needs to.

She's dressed professionally with a fitted black cocktail dress and her blond hair swept up and off of her neck. Her smile is killer, though it's hard to tell if it's actually genuine, or if she's putting on a show for those who are paying for the booze. Pulling a wine bottle from behind the bar, she pulls off the cork before pouring the deep red liquid into a large glass and passes it over to the patron. "This suits your pallette far better than what they were serving you else where. If you like a good stout beer, than you want a drier wine, not a sweet one."

Indiana Jones has posed:
Wandering in from the outside, Indian Jones pauses at the entrance as he takes a quick look around Lux. Jessica has mentioned this place once or twice, and since he was in town he might as well take the time to check the place out.

Dressed in a nice dark blue suit and tie, the former archeologist and treasure hunter makes his way towards the bar with a confident stride, finding an open spot to lean against as he surveys the rest of the space, muttering to himself "Sure ain't the place I would typically expect to find you in, Jess. Classy."

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
Ravenna has been to some of Jess' local haunts and they are nothing at all like Lux. But everyone has their own taste after all and who is Ravenna to judge someone on that. When Indiana walks in she takes note of his nice suit and nods her head to him to signal she'll be right over. She pours another glass of wine for a different patron and even spares a second to flirt with him before she pulls away and slips around the bar to where the new arrival has sat.

"It's always nice to see a new face at the bar." Ravenna says as she places one hand on the bar and gestures to the room in general. "Welcome to Lux! Is there anything I can tempt you with? "

Indiana Jones has posed:
Indy turn to look at the Ravenna, flashing her that somewhat cocky smile he has as she approaches him. "Now, see, where I come from that is called a loaded question which could be answered in a multitude of different ways. I'll take the somewhat safe answer and say whiskey, neat. Older the better."

He reaches up and loosens the tie just a bit, "Nice place. Kinda reminds me of a place I once was at in Shanghai, just without the live entertainment."

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
"You wound me." Ravenna says with a smirk as she shakes her head. "We offer more than just fine spirits at Lux, but everything has it's price." When he asks for the Whiskey, she turns to look at the bottles behind her and lightly taps her lips. "Well, none of these will do at all, as I can tell that you are a gentleman of refined tastes. Ah, yes I have the one, just one moment please." With that she slips away behind the bar and is only gone for a minute before she returns. "I have a ninteen twenty-six Macallan if that suits your interest, if not I could dig around a little more. You'll have to forgive me, I'm still new here and my focus is on the wine." She's just helping out while the Boss is off doing other things.

"We do get live entertainment here, usually on the weekends. The last singer we had in here was absolutely divine. She has a velvet voice and even I find myself distracted when she's on stage."

Indiana Jones has posed:
1926. Indy would have been 27, and likely drinking that vintage back when it was 'new'. "A nineteen twenty-six Macallan will do just fine. I haven't had a glass of that in...a few years at least."

He chuckles, running his fingers through his hair as he combs a stray strand back into place. "Well, darlin', it was never my intent to wound you. Please accept my humblest of apologies." He clasps his hands in front of him and offers a little bow of his head, "I let my mouth run away before I think sometimes. Always had a problem keeping it shut."

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
"Coming right up." It only takes a moment for her to get the right glass and the whiskey poured out for the dapper gentleman. "Well I hope that it doesn't disappoint after so long." The amber liquid swirlds in the snifter as she slides it over, and the bottle goes behind the bar.

"With manners like that you're definatly not from around here." Ravenna says with a light laugh. "But I accept your apology, not that my pride was all that wounded." She busies herself with putting some glasses away near by while she continues to converuse with him. "So what did bring you in here? Aside from your taste in whiskey."

Indiana Jones has posed:
Indiana Jones lifts the glass to his nose and takes a sniff of the whiskey before idly swirling it around in his glass, watching the light play off the amber liquid inside. "Not originally, no. Technically, I was born across the way in Princeton but I have traveled around a lot."

Indy lifts the glass to his lips and takes a small sip, letting the liquid rest in his mouth for a moment before he swallows, a smile forming on his lips. "Oh, a friend of mine recommended this place. She said she has been coming in here recently, so since I was in the area I figured I would check it out. Though, I am surprised...this doesn't really seem like her type of place."

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
Ravenna's Quebecer accent also shows that she isn't a New York native either. "I do wish I made more time for traveling myself. Sadly I have been spending the last few years honing my craft, and most of my extra spending money went to visiting family for the holidays." She watches as he inspects the drink and looks pleased when he approves of it. At least she thinks he approves of it. The fact that he doesn't spit it out immedately is a good sign.

"Well we always encourage our patrons to bring a friend, it's good for business after all." She says with a bright smile. "I am glad you found your way in here, please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with."

Indiana Jones has posed:
Indiana Jones takes another small sip from the whiskey and leans back into his chair, "Family is important. It's good that you had a chance to visit. When you get to be my age, you end up realizing just how important...and how you can almost mess it all up if you are an idiot."

He rolls a shoulder in a shrug, "Well, there might be something. I heard rumor that folks round these parts tend to deal in some...shall we say unique...items. I might be interested in acquiring something that would have recently been being shopped around. Would you know anyone I could talk to in regards to something like that?"

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
"That's my brothers job." Ravenna says with a hint of a smirk, but it definatly doesn't reach her eyes. "My aunt lives here in town as well, so it's not as if I am completely isolated from family." Just mostly. Still she continues to organize things behind the bar as he speaks.

"There are many folks around here that are interested in aquiring items. The regular Bartender is probably the better person to ask, he seems to know everyone and their business here. Than again, I suppose that is his job after all. He's occupised at the moment, but I would gladly pass your information along. Is there something specific you are looking for?"

Indiana Jones has posed:
"An old book." says Indiana, setting the snifter down onto the bar top. "Rare edition, only about 50 made. It would have made it onto the market relatively recently. My...friend, Jessica, might have already been here asking about it, but I figured since I was here I would follow up for her." He shrugs, lifting the snifter again, and swirling the liquid inside before taking another small sip.

"What's the regular bartender's name? So I know who to ask for if I come back?" Indy says as he reaches a hand into his pocket to pull out a small silver case. "I'll leave him a card as well, so if he hears anything he can give me a call."

Indy opens up the small case and produces a business card, slipping it onto the bar top. "He can call either myself, or Jess. Likely Jess, since I am just trying to help her out. I'll write her number on the back."

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
"Oh? Do you mean Miss Jones? Yes we know her quite well actually. I heard that she was asking about a book, but the Bartender might of had a lead for her but they haven't shared it with me." She's only been here for a week so there is a whole lot she needs to catch up on.

When he asks the Bartender's name she gives another polite smile. "Oh if you ask for the Bartender, everyone knows who you need to speak with." That's all she seems to want to say on the matter. When he presents the card she takes it and gives it a quick look with a smirk. "Ah, Mr Jones, so nice to meet you. No relation to Jess I'm assuming." She says with a smirk as she slips the card into the pocket of her dress.

Indiana Jones has posed:
"Actually, we are related." says Indy with a smirk as he stands from his seat at the bar. He reaches out and picks up the snifter, swirling the last of the amber liquid in the glass for a moment before quaffing it down. "I'm her great, great, great grandfather. I'm older than I look." He closes one eye in a quick wink to Ravenna, following it up with a coy smile. "If you see her, tell her I'm back from Belize."

He lifts a hand, giving Rav a quick salute with a couple of fingers. "How much do I owe ya?"

Ravenna Levesque has posed:
"Twenty for the pour." Ravenna says with a quick nod as he mentions that he wants to cash out. Though as he mentions what they are related and just how they are she looks a bit confused. "Ah.. uhm, sure you are. You're well preserved for a man of your age." It probably isn't completely strange but still she shrugs her shoulders. He obviously wants to be cheeky and she won't stop him. "I'll be sure to pass that along when I see her." And she does expect to see Jess, she is a regular after all.

Indiana Jones has posed:
Indiana Jones fishes out a twenty dollar bill from his money clip, then adds a few extra bills as he places it onto the counter. "Yeah, I know...hard to believe. Some truths are stranger than fiction." He rolls a shoulder, and gives her a smile. "Thank you for the pour, and the company. I'll check back sometime if I don't hear anything from your bartender, or Jess. Have a good evening, ma'am."
