Teleporting Practice: And not a Vulcan in sight!

Nightcrawler has posed:
    Kurt Wagner was no stranger to the danger room controls. He had programmed in plenty of adventures and practices for himself, and on the odd occasion, some for others. NEver for another teleporter, however -- this was unique.

    And as this was training for another X-Men member, it was a good opportunity to flex his creative chops.

    So he sits in the control room, with a bucket of popcorn as he waits for Megan to show. He's in his usual black and red uniform, some music playing on the overhead as he hums along.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn steps into the Danger room, wearing her black and gold minidress, glancing about rather nervously. She's always entered the room as part of a team, never alone. And she's never really tested the limits of her teleportation ability. Which is why she'd requested Kurt'a help in testing her limits. Even so, she can't feel a bit nervous as she glances up at Kurt, s,idling and waving, "Ready when you are!"

Nightcrawler has posed:
    Kurt spots Megan coming in, sets his popcorn aside, and teleports down.

    In a BAMF, the blue X-Man teleporter was standing near Negan. He gives a grin and a wave of his hand, before he calls out "Initiate T-Training One, Level One." -- and the Danger Room responds!

    Suddenly, with the shimmering of holographics and technology, there are dozens of platforms of varying sizes.

    "I will admit, though my own discovery of my teleportation powers were in less-than-optimal conditions, I did not want to force stressful training on you." he admits quietly to Megan. "So, this is a program that has five levels. This first level is simply this -- some platforms. Different sizes, different heights. Some have little tricks to them." Kurt gives a slight grin.

    "Can you tell me the process you use to teleport, Pixie?" Nightcrawler inquires, "What goes through your mind when you do it?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks, trying not to jump as he ports in a puff of dust next to her. His ports are different from hers in many ways. Faster, more short distant, instantaneous. She grins, trying to appear casual.

"Hiii Kurt! Uh..Sooo multi levels huh? Sounds super synch! I can do this..." so why is she so nervous? Megan licks her lips, "Ummm okay, well my ports are..Magic based, I basically say the magic words and a portal appears, either a door way or a stepping stone. I think...Mine takes longer to firm than yours, but I can probably port pretty far away, heck, I could probably port to the moon if I wanted!"

She laughs nervously, "Not that I' e tried...Dont think I could survive up there..."

Nightcrawler has posed:
    "Multi-level. ANd there will be more challenges thrown in later." Kurt gives a grin, and he stretches his hands, and gives a toothy smile.

    "Please don't teleport to the moon, I hear that is hazardous for your heatlh! It may be romantic from afar, but up close, the atmosphere is terrible!"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles nervously, "Ooh but it looks sooo pretty up there! Isn't that where Sailor moon lives?" she smirks and shrugs, right, gotta be serious X-girl and all that. "Right! I'm ready for level one! Bring it on!" she tenses, getting into combative stance, not sure exactly how this will play out but we'll see..

Nightcrawler has posed:
    "Sailor Moon? Well, I suppose that would make sense -- I've never been there myself." Kurt replies, and calls out in German for the computer to play a song: "Sag das zauberwort" -- and then produces a nerfball, lobs it at Megan, and with a cheery grin says: "Tag!"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smirks, "Who knows? Weren't those reports of lunar landings faked? And...Woah!" she jumps out of the way, barely avoiding the nerf ball. "Well, that wasn't nice!" she makes a face, grabs it and tosses it back. Maybe this isn't the way the game is played but she has a tendency to break rules - just ask Logan! "Two can play this game!"

Nightcrawler has posed:
    "I certainly hope so!" Kurt grins, catching the nerfball before he lobs it back at Megan -- and then teleports!

    He's now on one of the upper platforms, waving down at her with his oddly shaped hand.

    "Nyah, nyaah! Come and get me!"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn meeps, getting hit by the ball moments before she can catch it. "Oof!" she makes a face, grabbing the ball and scrunching it in her hand. "Sihal Novarum Chinoth!" she tells as a pink stepping stone appears at her feet and she is quickly enveloped in light, reappearing on the second level a second ago, just behind him as she hurls the ball at him. "Take this!"

Nightcrawler has posed:
    "Danke!" Kurt states, catching the ball, and then BAMF!

    And there's an echoing BAMF from the ceiling, where he's clinging, upside-down, and simply drops the ball to try and bop it off Megan's head!

    And then he starts singing along with the music. Nevermind that it is, indeed, the German Sailor Moon opening. From its original run.

    But it's catchy!

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn is ready this time, more alert than before. Kurt is tricky, faster, more agile than her, and his porting is faster than hers. Illy once said that she should be able to port instantly without uttering the words but Megan still needs to recite the words as she catches the ball this time, eyes narrowed as she ports after him, this time porting at his feet, nearly skimming it across the floor to try and knock him off his ever so agile feet!

Nightcrawler has posed:
    Once more practice gets in, perhaps! Kurt gives a toothy smile as he jumps, drawing himself to one hand as his tail catches the ball, and then he teleports again -- below Megan. He swings the ball up, trying to hit the Pixie in the back with the nerf ball.

    "How are you feeling about your teleporting? Comfortable? Can port where you can see?" he questions with a bright smile.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn meeps, totally caught off-guard by that last hit, and she jumps as he tags her, twirling around to catch the ball, "Geez, you're like...Like ninja!" he's fast, very fast. And agile. And sneaky! But Megan has the advantage of flight on her side. Buuut she's not about to give up, not now!

"Heh, I can port to anywhere I've been before...Although I've accidently ported to weird places.l.Like limbo. And Avalon. And the never ever...You?" she smiles, a glimmer of challenge in her eyes.

Nightcrawler has posed:
    Kurt gives a grin, "I am very speedy, and agile, yes that is true!" he beams out, and then teleports again, this time in front of Megan.

    "Generally? Shorter ranges. Instantaenous with a whiff of brimstone, as befitting my appearance." his tail flicks. "Generally where I can see; I do not like to go blind, but if I am familiar with a place I have before. I've yet to teleport into anything solid." he gives a grin, and then goes to 'boop' Megan on the nose with the ball.

    "I have never found myself in Limbo or Avalon though."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks slowly, caught off guards as he appears right I. front of her face. "Wow. That is SO cool!" she smirks "Buuut I wonder what's the furthest point you've teleported to? How about a race, let's see....Hmmmmm, let's seee who can get to club Evo in mutant town first?"

Nightcrawler has posed:
    "Aah, Club Evo? The one Sam runs?" he gives a grin, and shakes his head, and motions to his 'work clothes'.

    "Not in uniform. When I go, it's to listen to music, ooor to partake in the local culture. Or on the odd occasion?" His tail flicks, "To retrieve a student who should not be there. That was not a fun night."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smirks, "But then again, if that's too easy, how about somewhere even further away, say...Avalon?" she's got a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, "If you dare...?" As for being in uniform, Megan just chuckles and shrugs, "Definitely more fun to have a casual, fun night out, yeah?"

Nightcrawler has posed:
    "No, I think that it would be wise to leave Avalon alone for a little while. Call it an old Circus superstision -- try not to mess with the magical."

    He boops her nose again with the nerf ball. "Too much, anyway!"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn grins and winks, "Well yakknow, being a faerie and all, you're already messing with the magical!" she smiles, but there's that mischievous twinkle in he4 eyes still, "But someday..I will go back..." she yells as she gets balled in the hide by a beef ball and grins, grabbing it and throwing back, "Catch me if you can!" and age vanishes in anither portal of light..

Nightcrawler has posed:
    "That may be so--" Kurt states, and gives a laugh as he gets hit in the chest with the nerf ball. "Fair enough! Now -- whered did you go?" he questions outloud, his tail giving a slight wave behind him as he considers.
