Joan Wright has posed:
While it may not be the most common time to be making sure the house is ready for guests, Joan has a good reason for tidying up around the house. The third bedroom is complete and the opportunity to cut down on basic home expenses has now come in to play. A 'Room for Rent' ad she has placed. There are store bought cookies under the glass lid of the serving dish positioned on the kitchen table and she just finished giving the third bedroom one last vaccuum.

Mockingbird has posed:
Bobbi Morse is on her way here, because...wel, she's been out and about house hunting. It's not she won't live in the Triskelion, but..but...more she wants to live away from there. Staten Island's got quite a few good places, and she's arrived here after exploring the North side of things.

So, Bobbi's at the door knocking on it. Because, well, Morse is hoping on things, like, say, a room or something.

Joan Wright has posed:
Joan glances up from the vaccuum as she hears a knock. "Be right there!" She calls out, glancing down to press a button on the side of the appliance, causing for the powercord to wind back into it. Rolling it into a hallway closet, she closes the door shut before heading to the front door.

Looking through the peep hole she gives a slight smile before unlocking the door, giving Bobbi a smile. "Well hello again! How are you?"

Mockingbird has posed:
"I'm glad we met on less explosive terms. I'm good, how're you?" Bobbi asks. Not a hint of oh what do I do now my ex husband is back around things. ope. Bobbi's got on a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers. She can still kill anyone five different ways probably but...

Joan Wright has posed:
"Oh I'm doing well. It's a lovely day so far." She blinks, taking note of where they're still positioned.

"Oh, where are my manners?" She chides herself, stepping back to open the door further. "Come in!" She glances back to the agent, "Ms Morse, right?"

She gives a gesture to the inside of the tudor house, the main room visible from the entryway. Exposed rich brown beams, tan ceilings, with an ornate crest over the fireplace mantle, giving off a bit of a castle feel to it. "I take it you're here to check out the house?"

Mockingbird has posed:
"Ms. Morse, indeed" Bobbi nods and looks pleased before she steeps inside with a nod. "You did good with this place. So" Bobbi smiles looking around nodding, then looking back to Joan the SHIELD special agent grins.

"You know they say don't sleep where you shit, right? Same for work. I'm looking for somewhere that's not a bad looker, and reasonable as well as off the beaten track" Bobbi shrugs. She moves in dangerous circles after all...she is a SHIELD agent after all...

Joan Wright has posed:
"Thank you. I have a side business of flipping houses so I'm pretty well practiced," Joan's head tilts at the quote given, giving the slightest of nods. "Vaguely recall something like that. Do what you love was more the phrase drilled into me."

Once Bobbi is inside the house, she closes the door. "Well, this is a three bedroom house and I only have uses for the first two which makes the recently finished third bedroom available for rent."

She leads Bobbi in to the kitchen where a metal chndelier provides light over the kitchen island. The deep browns and dark metals, and light tans are also prevailent in the design. Over to the the side of the kitchen furthest from the island, a table resides with the cookie serving dish on top.

"Staten Island is a good place to be. Not too far from work but far enough that people want to be sure they need to before coming to visit."

Mockingbird has posed:
"True, why do you think I do what I do? Aside from money. You got a fine house and a room for rent? What's the catch though?" Bobbi asks suddenly feeling like she's in college again hunting for rooms. Only this time, the roomate is a lot nicer and less catty and presssuring her to do stuff.

See it's all working out in odd ways for Bobbi. "I like Staten Island though, it's nice to have a room away from work, isn't it?" she nods and looks pleased still.

Joan Wright has posed:
"I'd rather the room be used than left empty." Joan replies, "And of course the catch is you pay your rent." She walks over to the fridge. "Also like with any place we'd have to come up with some ground rules so everyone's good to go."

She gestures to the fridge, "For instance, stuff in the common rooms are for the household to use. Food included. I'd rather not have drama about labeled yogurts. That's just brain numbingly stupid. Stuff in the bedroom is for that person to use. Whenever you move out, you only take what you owned with you. So no leaving with my TV or LEGOs. You're welcome to play in the LEGO room if you want, but... clean up after yourself. Oh, also, please let me sleep and don't damage the house."

Mockingbird has posed:
"Okay this is like being back at Georgia Tech. Are you secretly an RA?" Bobbi teases with a laugh. "Wait a minute. You said Legos?" she asks raising an eyebrow with a curious look in her eyes. "I'm taking it...not one or two boxes worth then or sets you got for Christmas?" Bobbi asks. "And don't worry, It's like that at work, only, you touch my boss's yogurt, you get told and discliplined"

Like, well, sent to Madripur on your own knowing Fury. Which does leave the door open for some incredibly savvy agents to pull off some fantastic getting back at Fury moments...

Joan Wright has posed:
"No but I have dealt with dramatic roommates before." Joan reples, giving a smile, as she nods towards the main room once more, heading towards the small hallway that leads to the bedrooms. "Three bedroom house. I'm using two of them. Only one is for sleeping."

As they get to the second bedroom, Joan opens up the door, revealing a restored room but with several heavy set utility shelves holding clear plastic bins full of LEGOs. On the top shelves, assembled sets are on display while a folding table, folding chairs and sofa made out of Lego with pillows serving as seat cushions make up the primary sources of furniture. "Building is my life. I acquired quite the collection growing up."

Mockingbird has posed:
Bobbi's speechless at the amount of Lego. "Okay...that..." she says "Is a lot of Lego. More than I thought would fit into a room. Are you planning to convert the whole house to Lego at some point?" she smirks. Hopefully she's not giving Joan any ideas...hopefully

Mostly since Bobbi's enough trouble on the job. "Alright so, no going and taking people's food and clean up after yourself. Simple enough to remember. Anything else?" Bobbi nods keenly. Se, this is easy. What's the catch exactly?

Joan Wright has posed:
Joan shakes her head. "No. One room is enough. It also doubles as my office area."

She leaves the door open before leading Bobbi to the third bedroom, which is empty. The decor of the rest of the house extends to this room.

"Close. Food in the common areas are fair game to everyone. Bathroom supplies too. If you don't want it touched by others, you keep it in your room. Let me sleep. Don't move out with my stuff. Pay your rent. Don't break the house and for the love of God clean up after yourself." Joan sums up the rules, "Basically, don't be an ass."

Mockingbird has posed:
"That....yeah, you ask my colleagues, I'm an assl. Not as much as my ex husband mind" she admits. Ah there's the shot at Clint...playful as it is. "I can follow those rules. Pretty muc the same as at my work"

Albeit, without the threat of being shot by training rounds or forced to spend hours in the lab, or, something equally mind numbing. "So how much is the rent a month and do I get deductions for chores and things like groceries?"

Joan Wright has posed:
"Same as what was listed in the ad." Joan replies, "It helps offset the cost of the added use of utilities and the cost of maintaining the building. So no deductions."

She steps away from the third bedroom to allow Bobbi a chance to inspect the space. "But, the price should be fair as is. Considering the location."

Mockingbird has posed:
"Alright, I'll go for it" Bobbi offers, looking pleased still. "Reasonable is good enough for me. Considering my other options are sleep at work or get dragged off by the guards, yeah...security guards can be so...ya know, difficult" Bobbi shrugs, she's got her purse out and is digging in it for her cards. Careful to keep her SHIELD ID hidden that is. Last thing she wants to do is reveal oh, hey, I work for the government and SHIELD to her new housemate...greae. That'd go better if she hadn't already shown her SHIELD ID to Joan...go figure, Morse. Go figure!

Joan Wright has posed:
As Bobbi agrees to the conditions, Joan's expression brightens more. "Excellent! I'll go get the paperwork ready and get the boring stuff knocked out of the way."
